From the ground, Xander and the others stared at the mammoth whose green ominous eyes looked down on them with terror and confusion. Their reaction was completely understandable given they couldn’t comprehend what they were witnessing.

"Y-you can talk?" He asked, finding the courage to communicate with the beast in front of them.

"Yes I can despite how you view as." The Mammoth responded with it’s voice thundering through the semi destroyed vegetative landscape.

He stood to his feet, the terror he felt reduced by a margin now that he had a way to verify if the Mammoth had the intention of destroying them.

"Who are you?" Hiro with a soft and calm voiced questioned the beast. He knew that the slightest bad action from him could an their end.

"I am Mazmuth, the progenitor of earth essence, and also the previous Primordial Essen-Beast to the Soul-King." It replied.

"Essence? To the Soul-King?" Elene muttered. "What do you an the progenitor of earth essence?" He added.

The Mammoth scoffed, a slight vibration in the ground occured as a result of the mammoth vibrating it’s vocal cords. "Humans, such ignorant creatures. Where do you actually think Soul-Core cos from?" Mazmuth threw a question at all of them.

In this world, Soul-Core was an ability considered to have co about as a result of dinsional pollution of the black gate’s atmosphere. As foretold in history, during the last Advent Of The Gates, the portal linking the other side to their world was opened for a long ti before the crisis was averted. During that ti period, the atmosphere of the other side seeped into the earth, corrupting their world. The continuous exposure to the other side’s atmosphere led to a dangerous phenonon that manifested within the human race.

The five Soul-Cores.

"What you call Soul-Energy, is essence that cos from us, the Primordial Essen-Beasts." Mazmuth added.

"Huh? Wait wait, you’re saying..." Elene stamred.

"Soul-Energy is actually essence that cos from the Primordial Essen-Beasts?" Xander spoke after all this while.

"Hang on! I don’t understand, what do you an Soul-Energy cos from the Primordial Essen-Beasts!?" Elene exclaid, who could bla him? Everything she knew till now as a mber of the honorable Castelle family was nothing more than tall tales created by society due to their ignorance.

"What do you an we humans are all the sa?" Hiro asked, he wasn’t that much bothered about Soul-Energy and it’s origins mainly because he could barely use it.

"Thanks to your ignorance, you continuously create problems and crisis for your world. Your kind acts without reason and in so doing endangers everything that lives within this realm, just like you four have done." Mazmuth spoke with utter disappointnt given that he was assigned as the protector of a region of the earth.

"What do you an we have done?" Out of curiosity, Elene questioned the gigantic beast.

Mazmuth raised his head and stared at the sky, searching for the unknown that lies beneath the cloud. "Thanks to you humans, it won’t be long now till they arrive." He answered.

"Till who arrives?"

Mazmuth remained silent for a couple of seconds before lowering his head to face the three Soul-Hunters. "The Generals of the gates of Hellius."

"The General of the gates of Hellius? What the hell is that?" To them, it sounded like a bunch of gibberish.

"All you need to know is, they are much more stronger than ordinary Essen-Beasts, and now because you have destroyed the stone that kept my essence sealed within that temple. They can now track down." Mazmuth spoke with annoyance.

"Wait, sealed? That Stone isn’t an artifact that grants Soul-Hunter’s s high levels of Soul-Energy?" Takashi beca increasingly concerned, after all, he was the one that decided to destroy it.

"No, I am the previous Primordial Essen-Beast sealed within the Soul-King, however, as he grew older, the bond that kept us together grew weaker, exposing my essence from his fragile body. Then he discovered them, entities that transcended anything that he ever faced, tracking for all of eternity. To keep them from getting , monts before his death, he created this domain and sealed within the stone. However my essence was still too great for human seals to handle. So the little that seeped out, I manipulated the temple and for decades I have kept intruders from getting close to the Stone. Till you showed up." Mazmuth answered.

"No way..." Elene muttered with wavering eyes.

"You’ve gotta be kidding ." Hiro chuckled softly as he realized that they had ssed up in the worst possible way. It was too much to handle, the truth and the implications of their actions. The true reason why the Soul-King hid the stone in an entirely different dinsion was not to prevent humanity from being corrupted by such power. It was to prevent what would happen if such power was released into the world.

"What have I done.." Xander fell to his knees. They told him, they warned him, but he still chose to destroy the stone. He thought that by destroying the stone, he won, he diverted the apocalypse. He never imagined that destroying the stone, was what would result in the apocalypse.

Then.

A faint crack appeared in the sky, and an ominous line stretched across the horizon, its edges tinged with an eerie glow. As the tension built up, the crack widened, tearing through the fabric of reality with a deafening roar. Lightning crackled along its jagged edges, casting nacing shadows below them.

"What is happening!?" Elene scread out as they were all taken back by the supernatural phenonon in the sky.

"He’s here.." Mazmuth said with a low rumble as a red beam of light fell from the crack in the sky and on the ground.

All eyes were fixated on the beam of light as it died down and revealed a frightening demon, its form twisted and grotesque. Its towering silhouette looms ominously, adorned with jagged horns that pierce the air like daggers. Fiery red eyes burning with malice, casting an unsettling glow that chills the bravest of hearts. Sharp, serrated claws extend from its monstrous limbs, ready to rend and tear with primal fury.

"At long last..I have found you, the Primordial Earth Essen-Beast." It’s distorted voice echoed like the rumble of thunder, instilling dread in all who hear it.
