Reeva frowns while smiling. His Yellow mist has been stopped by the Yellow fire that form into a wall. It flickers and diapers when the mystic runs out. He could clearly see when it was dissipated.
"Fire at him! Don’t stop!"
Plutus grits his teeth and follows Theodore’s order. He uses more of his mind to cast the light sword. Cating in succession took a toll on his brain. And every ti it consus so of his Pure mystic force.
At 2 circles Plutus could only use it 4 to 5 tis before he needed a breather and to refine his Raw mystic force before he could use it again. And at most, he could use it 10 tis before his mind couldn’t take it anymore.
"O light please punish my that demon"
Two more shots and the light sword fly at the demon. Reeva waved his hand to destroy their mystic force with the joyous mist. and demolish any approaching projectiles with his hand.
"Flas, kill this Demon!"
The fla pillar from appeared vertically from the torch but this ti it was a 3 fla Pillar. The flas fly directly at Reeva. The demon then sidestepped the attack, it flew past him. Reeva tries to control the mist to destroy the fire but it curves to evade his mist.
It swirls past Reeva and into his back. The fla crashed into his body, burning part of his priest robe. He stutters a bit from the attack but he manages to form a mist to block the fla before it hits his body.
He has an enhanced strength but it would still hurt if he got his by such flas straight in the body. His body is a little burnt from grazing the flas. Reeva retaliates by controlling the yellow mist and attacks all the priests that were left. If he was fighting only Theodore or Plutus he would easily win.
"Shit"
Theodore knew this fact.
Being the only 4th circle, Theodore was the only one who could feel the mystic power moving. However, he doesn’t have enough power to cast another fla wall. His power needs 4 things to function, his faith, his chant, his mystic power, and The price he needs to pay. every ti he uses the power his body will burn hotter. And if he doesn’t cool down it would turn into flas.
And Theodore right now, is at his limit. That isn’t the price he was willing to pay yet.
Luckily Puluts got an idea.
"O light please give us strength"
Plutus light envelopes the 4 priests that were left. The Yellow mist crashed into Plutus’s mystic power and couldn’t get through. Reeva frowned he didn’t expect Reeva’s spell to cancel out his pure mystic power.
But thinking about it for a second made him realize that it made sense. His mystic power is only a raw one and has no physical object that it attaches to. It is unlike the flas and the arrow. The only thing that needs to stop one mystic force is another mystic force.
Coating oneself with a mystic power could cancel out pure mystic power from working. Reeva comnds, PLutus for fingering it out in such a short ti.
"Maybe you should stick to fighting, Plutus"
Theodore also praised Plutus for his work. But Plutus wasn’t in the mood to talk to Theodore right now. At the mont he felt quite good from his gamble paying off. It’s a shot in the dark for Plutus, he observes Theodore’s reaction and prepares for the attack. And he won, he successfully blocked the demon’s mystic power.
"Wait.... Plutus, stop!!"
Theodore however, realized sothing when PLutus felt joy.
But it was too late for that, Yellow mist seeped out from Plutus when he won the gamble, and Reeva saw that golden opportunity. He would be a fool if he didn’t use it.
Plutus’s strength spell used his mystic power to envelope the whole body, but there’s a gap between the mystic power and the body. Reeva controls the mystic power through there and rebounds it into Plutus’s body.
"HAHAAHAHA"
"Shit! Cast every spell you got!"
Theodore ordered the other priest before it was too late. Plutus fell to the ground laughing and having fun, the other was horrified at such a sight. Not only does one of them fall from seemingly nothing but Plutus’s spell is also gone.
Plutus produces more yellow mist when he falls. Controlling it, Reeva launches a simultaneous attack on every priest that is left. The other two priests are simultaneously penetrated by the yellow mist, which is floating at a high speed and causing them both to laugh.
Theodore grits his teeth, it wasn’t the ti to play safe anymore. The city would be in ruins if he didn’t stop the demon here. And he would be dead either way if this demon isn’t stopped.
"Flas, cover my body."
Normally he would use enough spells to burn himself as the price but with this spell, he could forcefully burn himself up. He had learned that covering himself with mystic power would cancel out the demon power.
After chanting the spell, a fla lit up from the center of his body and spread all over his body. his skin burned from the fire but, it didn’t matter, what mattered was that he could fight the demon at full strength.
Theodore rushes at Reeva with a torch in his right hand. Reeva tried to use the mist to affect. But the mist got burned up after getting close to Theodore. The blade priest is fearless, he closes in to deliver a punch.
The mystic powers crash onto each other, canceling out the effect but the fire and the force of the punch go through the mystic power. Reeva who has no fighting experience got gutted pretty easily. His body sways left and right as Theodore delivers more punch to Reeva.
Even with Reeva’s resilient demon skin, he is unable to withstand the heat and force of each attack. Everything Theodore punched him burned bit by bit. He is running out of ti, and the bald priest is burning up fast.
