Chapter 7: Unexpected Encounter
I went back to my dorm after talking to the chairman about the fact I needed to attend class tomorrow because there was sothing "special" planned and saw that Mina had already finished cooking.
She had made hamburgers for the two of us, and it was honestly amazing, I guess the author wasn't lying about her cooking skills.
"Where did you learn to cook like that?" I asked the question the protagonist did not say out loud because of his massive ego.
"My mom taught ~"
"Well she did a great job, you're an excellent chef"
She blushed, "I-i'm not that good."
"Yes you are."
"It's not like I-I care what you think!" here we go again, looks like she is back to being an annoying tsundere.

"By the way" she spoke up, "tomorrow there is a training session for our class."
"Oh, what does that entail?"
"Well, we're gonna be using a special simulation room and the teachers will see our power levels"
"Sounds fun."
But I knew that this test couldn't even be considered enjoyable.
"Don't worry, I'll show them my true power!"
"I hope you do."
"You don't seem to be very concerned, why is that?"
Shit, I can't let her see that I am this carefree for no reason.
"Oh it's nothing, I'm just glad that you'll have a chance to shine, it's your mont."
"W-why are you being nice all of a sudden!?"
"You're my friend, and friends should support each other."
"Hmph!"
She turned her head away and started eating again, I can tell she was happy.
"Beating a tsundere by being blatantly honest is sothing I'll never get tired of doing" was what I thought seeing her try to hide her smile.
And after finishing our als, we both went to sleep.
It was actually pretty surprising, the beds were really comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud.
I had a long day ahead of , and the next arc would begin tomorrow.

When I woke up, the sun had just begun to rise and the light was peeking through the windows.
I yawned and stretched my body before heading to the bathroom, and after brushing my teeth, I decided to check the clock.
"6:30 am"
Damn, the classes don't start until 9:00am and people only start waking up at around 8:00am, which ans I had a whole hour and a half to kill.
Should I wake up Mina?
Nah, let her rest, she deserves it, I can tell she's tired.
"Hmm, what can I do now..."
After a bit of reflection I decided to exit the room and take a look at the school, it was described in the novel but I also have to assess my surroundings now that I am here.
The first thing I noticed while strolling through the hallways was that it felt surprinsigly calm when almost nobody was around.
I began walking around the campus, it was extrely big, and the scenery was incredible, it almost feels like the entire academy is a city on its own.
"I have a feeling I won't get bored here."
I continued walking while humming a tune from my original world but I was stopped by a voice.
"Hello! Are you a new student?"
I turned around and saw a cute girl smiling at , she had purple eyes and short pink hair, she also had a big chest, and the uniform she was wearing did a terrible job at hiding it.
Anybody else would be delighted to see such a beautiful sight, but not ...
"Oh hell fucking no, not her..." was my only thought as I watched the pink haired girl approach .

The ter instantly rose up by 22 which made panick but then I rembered I couldn't afford to lose my cool, so I kept my calm and answered.
"Yes, I am."
"That's aweso!" she cheered, "you're the second newbie i've t today, and he was kind of scary."
"Who is this guy?"
"Ah, a blondie, his na is Daemon" she smiled, but it looked strained, "anyways, what's your na?"
"Kaine."
"Nice to et you Kaine, i'm Sera"
"..."
I knew it, it's her: the first villainess of the novel, Sera.
She is known for her massive amount of power, she is considered a genius among the students and her beauty is famous throughout the world, she is currently a second year but during the course of the protagonist's first year she tried her hardest to ruin him, yet always failed.
At the end, Daemon exposed her and it resulted in expulsion and her becoming a social outcast.
But none of this matters.
I can't beat her and I don't want to interfere in Daemon's quest to power and fa, aning my best bet is just to not interact with her.
"That's great, but I gotta go, bye bye Sera" I answered coldly, I tried really hard to sound normal but I guess it's not possible to control your emotions.

I tried to leave quickly after that but I was stopped.
"Wait" her voice was... weird.
I turned around to see what she wanted and instantly realized I screwed up.
The aura around her beca dark, she wasn't smiling anymore and it looked like she could explode at any point.
"You're a weird one aren't you?"
"What?" I held my ground.
"Any normal person would of gotten flustered or tried to keep the conversation going and yet... you aren't doing any of this" as she finished her sentence, she shortened the distance between us in a split second and put her hand on my shoulder, "who are you?"
This looked undeniably scary, and she could probably crush if she felt like it but...
I refuse to let myself get played around in this world too.
"Don't touch " I said while pushing her arm away and stepping back.

"Hehehe" she giggled, "you're really an interesting one it seems, anyways goodbye!" she waved her arm from behind while walking away.
Fucking hell, that was scary, but I think I did okay, I just hope she doesn't rember ...
I decided to continue my visit of the campus and after less then ten minutes, I saw another very familiar person...
"Daemon" I whispered.
He was currently training by swinging his sword and doing exercises, I guess it is expected from the main character to always be up before anybody else huh...
But yeah, as I said before, i'm not interacting with these people and I refuse to take the gamble to see if he is gonna notice or not.
So I decided to go back to my dorm, it was "7:50am" anyways and I could already see new faces show themselves around the school hallways to discuss.

As soon as I ca back to my dorm, I was welcod with the sll of pancakes and the sight of a happy elf, it seed like she had taken a shower and was cooking for the two of us.
"Good morning!"
"Mornin'"
"Where were you? I was worried" she said while pouting.
"Just exploring around the school as I didn't the ti yesterday."
I then sat down on a chair and waited patiently for her to finish cooking, the food was amazing, and it's not like i'm complaining, I'm just not used to eating stuff like this.
"S-so how is it" she was looking at and waiting for my reaction.
"It's amazing, you'd make a perfect bride" I teased her.
"B-b-bride?! S-stop saying such stuff you idiot h-human!"
I guess she is still an annoying tsundere but seeing that cute side of hers after what happened this morning was oddly comforting.
