And finally after narrating the whole story she reached the ending as told how a single woman was trying her best to survive while determined to live.
She narrated everything to Kyle.
'Huh? Is that thing a woman?' Kyle, following her words, leaned his head to look into the distance where he saw the black skeleton seated, trembling in fear while emitting a dark aura from the purple and black crystal within its body.
[Checking the qualifications: 97/100]
[Yes, she is more than fit to be your wife, Host.]
'Shut up, fucker! I was just asking her gender, not the qual—?!' Kyle, who had just received a notification pop-up in front of him, was clearly enraged.
But before he could yell at the system for disturbing him, suddenly his mind processed that in front of him was a qualification value far larger than that of Olea or Aleriana and not for a woman but a skeleton.
'Wait what?!' It appeared his eyes seed to widen looking towards the screen popping while telling him the qualification of that skeleton which was completely black and not a hint of sothing that could be considered a woman.
'No, no, no, fuck, sothing is wrong,' Kyle seed to deny the reality as he noticed how the system was giving a qualification mark to one of the most beautiful won he had ever seen under 95 while the most ugly, arrogant, and trash kind of won were getting above 95 value.
:: 97 is still 3 lower than mine. ::
'Of course, that is the big problem here,' It appeared as if his mind seed to stop working before realizing that the system was trying to screw him over, giving such qualification ratings to strange, abnormal won who literally were not even won in the human sense—one was a reaper, another was a skeleton.
'You seem to have so errors with your algorithm, idiot.' Kyle exhaled his breath and looked towards the sky before calming himself as he realized that most probably the system had so errors, given this was ridiculous.
[ No, Host, Qualification is decided on compatibility. So, the higher the number, the more compatible they would be with you.]
'Compatible? Am I compatible with monsters?' Kyle seed to doubt his whole existence for a mont, forming a frown as he rubbed his forehead.
:: Did you just refer to as a monster? Human? ::
'Yes, my lady, you get it absolutely on point.' Kyle stood there while glancing towards Olea and then Aleriana, feeling his lips tremble, rembering the taste of their lips—peachy, plump, juicy, soft, and naturally tasty—before tilting his head and looking towards that skeleton and then giving an upper gaze towards the small reaper over his head—arrogance, not a thing making him feel attracted, not even humans, clearly monsters from both appearance and characteristics.
'The day you physically manifest yourself would be the day I screw you up, system,' Kyle determined himself to cut the very source of his misery into pieces the day he was able to hold it.
[ tch, Gay. ]
"Shut up!" Kyle yelled, causing his thoughts to utter with verbal anger, with a tone clearly flinching Aleriana, who stood visibly surprised due to the sudden outburst, including Olea, let alone Mialthara, who was standing behind him, suddenly pulled out of her thought as all three of them looked at him.
"H-husband?" Aleriana felt her lips tremble, thinking she might have made him slightly angry for protecting that female disciple from the Exorcism sect.
"Oh, no, no, not you darling." Kyle suddenly, seeing Aleriana's expression softening, realized that he had just yelled at her, gave a wave of his hand before giving a kiss on her cheek, causing her hand to touch her cheek with slight flush near her ears before stretching his shoulder. He clarified, "I yelled at Mialthara."
"Huh? I didn't even say anything, though—" Mialthara, who was thinking about everything from that peculiar ability to reset one's body, then him killing without moving, suddenly brought out of her thoughts by his scream, raised her eyebrow feeling confused as to why he yelled at her even though she did not speak up but was interested.
"Now you did! Shut up, woman!" Kyle just turning, pointed both his fingers towards her, as he gestured for her to keep quiet while handling the situation as he did not want any misunderstandings to form between his wife and him.
His eyes gave a side glance, noticing Olea standing with confusion.
"Ahem, are you okay?" Clearing his throat after seeing Olea giving him a judging look, he realized that maybe his easygoing deanor made him look like a fool in front of others which he definitely did not care about, but to his wife at least, he should appear a smart gentleman.
"...Yes." Olea simply gave a nod, considering she was trying to get the chance to ask him about what her parents told him and how he t them and everything, but seeing the overall situation there was no ti for her to do that, as she remained there looking blankly as he gave a nod back.
'She is dense.' Kyle, seeing Olea's blunt reaction, just knew how dense she was to neither feel jealous nor show so emotions except for the ti when it was regarding her parents' revenge, which was sowhat understandable, making him just turn towards that direction where the skeleton was trembling as he made his way towards her.
'Aleriana said she was trying to live,' Kyle, while approaching the skeleton that clearly seed to tremble, crossed his hands forward and slightly narrowed his gaze as he felt confused.
:: She is sensing the aura of death from you, just need to know alignnt. ::
'What alignnt?' Kyle while approaching, that woman who was just a skeleton with a crystal within her body inquired, hearing Valeriana's information.
:: She thinks you want to hurt her, just do the opposite and your aura would strengthen her crystal. ::
'What's that crystal?' Kyle, hearing the pull on his hair as he moved, as Valeriana flew from his head before taking a seat on his shoulder as she seed knowledgeable about that skeleton prompting him to inquire more.
Considering the system was already pissing him off, he did not want to ask anything to it at least for now.
:: She is an undead, around what you humans refer to as a lich, but slightly different as she is more like my base form—degraded one. ::
'So, she will beco a reaper?' Kyle seed to understand what exactly Valeriana was trying to convey here, considering that the skeleton, which was a woman as per the information, seems to have a body that was similar to what Valeriana had in her base form—which though he had not seen, but recalled how when killing him she had said sothing around how he could see her original appearance which he guessed may be the sa as the horror movies where a reaper with a scythe was shown as a skeleton.
:: Yes, but not in this world. She needs an enormous amount of death energy to absorb to go through a series of evolutions, but even that would halt at a certain level given that such large energy would not manifest even if one were to kill every single human in this world. ::
'What about my domain then?' Kyle inquired as sohow he found a loophole in Valeriana's words, with his eyes intrigued as he thought of the possibility of having a personal reaper of his own.
:: ....It's technically possible but logically impractical. ::
'Say sothing in English, idiot, not alien language!'
:: Tch, humans. ::
