Hivemind
"Move according to the plan."
"Do not give him a single mont, and defeat him."
Nyxtharion #2, #44, and #28 ca together.
They were at a location far from Neo.
They combined their powers and began to activate Infinite Void Prison.
Nyxtharion #34, #45, #56, #4, and #69 moved toward Neo swiftly.
Their plan was simple. They would ambush Neo.
He would be disoriented, not understanding why the dragons made a different move from the previous loops.
While he was confused, they would throw him into Infinite Void Prison, which was activated at the designated location.
It was a perfect plan to deal with an anomaly like Neo.
All Nyxtharion suddenly attacked Neo's mind with countless ntal attacks.
While he was disoriented, they arrived near him and combined their abilities to use a Supre Mastery Space Lock.
All space in the visible area around Neo was locked.
Without giving him a chance to understand what was happening, they threw him toward the Infinite Void Prison—
Neo suddenly disappeared and ca out through the shadow at Nyxtharion #34's feet.
They were alard. The Space Lock Spell 'locked' space. It rendered abilities like teleportation, warp, and Space Jump useless.
They could not understand how Neo moved through space when all Space Elentals were locked.
Before the dragons could fight, Neo suddenly called out to them.
"Wait! Are you guys the pieces of the First Great Disaster, Elder Dragon Nyxtharion the Evernight?"
The dragons did not attack instantly.
Knowing Neo had a way to slip out of Space Lock, it was near impossible to throw him into the Infinite Void Prison.
This attempt was a failure. They should've regressed and ambushed Neo again.
However, they did not do so.
They waited for Neo to speak.
He had no bloodlust, and through the hivemind, they could sense Neo was not thinking of them as enemies.
The dragons were surprised by such a change, and wanted to know its cause.
The extra information would help them Neo take down in the next loop.
"So what if we are pieces of the original elder dragon?" Nyxtharion #4 questioned. "What does it have to do with you?"
"I was just confirming your identity," Neo said. "I'm Neo Hargraves. I was sent here by Kane Williams, the Third Great Disaster, to warn you."
"What?"
"Soone extrely powerful has arrived on the island. He is trying to enter the Abyss and destroy the world core pieces that serve as the Pillars of the Nightmare Worlds.
"That enemy's na is Jack Hanma. He is a Necromancer.
"Kane Williams is fighting him and doing his best to stop him from entering this Abyss of Nightmares.
"But Kane Williams would not last long. That is why he sent here," Neo said.
"Huh…?" Nyxtharion #4 replied, flagbustered.
He looked at the other wall guardians, too confused to understand what was happening.
This man had been attacking them like a vengeful ghost until the last tiline, and now he was saying he was their ally.
"Question him," Nyxtharion #2 suddenly said through the hivemind. "Check if he is lying or not."
"Isn't it obvious he is lying?" Nyxtharion #4 replied through the telepathic communication of the hivemind.
"I think so too, but he has zero bloodlust against us. That's only possible if he does not think of us as an enemy," Nyxtharion #2 replied.
"We literally saw him bashing the smaller I in the last tilines," Nyxtharion #4 comnted.
"Just do as I said!" Nyxtharion #2 snapped.
The dragon was irritated.
Since the dragons did not have a direct communication line with Tartarus, they could not ask him if Neo was telling the truth.
If they could talk with Tartarus, they would have not taken so much ti to find out Neo was creating Ti loop. After all, Tartarus could rember all pre-altered tilines.
"Vermin! You attacked the smaller I and erased them from the tiline! How dare you say you are an ally!?" the Nyxtharion #4 roared.
The roar shattered Neo's eardrum and made him bleed.
He stumbled.
Only now did the dragons realize that he was extrely fragile if he was not protecting himself.
His body was covered in cracks, and he seed to be under constant ntal pain.
"I did that?" Neo questioned. "That…"
He seed confused himself.
"Did we return to first pre-altered tiline?" Nyxtharion #2 said in the hivemind.
Each ti a regressor changed the past, a new timline would override the previous tiline as the two tiline were rged.
Normally, everyone would regress to the previous pre-altered tiline.
But when two or more Ti Users fought, and both regressed, tiline would beco erratic.
When that happens, it was possible to return to not just the latest pre-altered tiline, but the one before that, or the one even before that.
To give an example, Neo regressed 7 tis.
He had mories of all seven tis.
During his seventh ti, if his opponent, a Ti User, regressed, he would enter Neo's seventh regression – the one before the latest regression.
In this case, Neo would rember regressing only six tis.
He would think this was the seventh ti – while in truth it was the eight ti – and his opponent woud have the mories of the tiline he regressed from.
This was the ideal outco.
But it rarely happened.
In most cases, tiline would get twisted.
It might be possible that the opponent arrives in the tiline where Neo is on his 3rd regression, or even 1st regression.
This phenonon was mostly random, which was why two Ti Users would not regress too many tis, knowing the dangers.
However, Neo had forced the hand of the dragons.
"This is an opportunity for us. If he really does not rember anything, he can take him down easily in case he proves to be a danger," Nyxtharion #2 said through the telepathic communication. "Interrogate him properly."
Nyxtharion #4 looked down on Neo.
"Indeed! You have attacked the smaller I! You are not an ally!" Nyxtharion #4 roared, trying to intimidate Neo.
"I think that's… because of madness," Neo said, not too confident in his own words.
