Daniela was feeling sad about herself and her friends, sad about her family situation and what she considered her inner circle. With her gaze forward, she looked at her mother from this beautiful dream; she was sad just like her. The figure was the sa—exactly the sa. She raised her hand and smiled; her mother looked around with curiosity.
Daniela stared at her intently, the color of her soul returned to normal, the abyssal black color ca back, and the mother from the dream had completely disappeared...
"It’s truly disgusting to play with people’s feelings, but in the sa way, it is the best form of ntal and emotional manipulation," Seraphine said as she slowly walked toward Daniela, who remained in silence...
After hesitating for a few monts: "You saw it, right?" she asked nervously.
Seraphine smiled faintly, placing one of her hands on Daniela’s head: "I saw everything, but I’m not upset." She shook her head while beginning to slowly stroke her hair: "I can’t give you what you want, I’m sorry for that."
Daniela remained silent as she lowered her gaze; she sighed deeply. The nervousness she had slowly faded away; she cald her emotions and shook her head: "It’s fine."

"Sis! Look! These are the new dolls Mom bought for my birthday!"
Leslie looked around; her senses returned again. Turning her gaze back, she looked at her younger sister. She was smiling while swinging side to side a pair of dolls that looked extrely cute...
Leslie felt confused for a few monts before regaining her senses; she frowned as she felt her head about to explode. Her senses kept warning her she was in danger, but as the seconds passed, her clouded mind began to clear much faster than ever before. Blinking, she felt much more relaxed, and she sighed to herself.
Looking back at her sister, she smiled faintly, standing up slowly.
"Sis, what are you doing?"
Leslie smiled a bit and approached her sister: "I have sothing to do, I’ll be right back."
"Liar... you always say the sa thing." The little girl lowered her head sadly while murmuring softly.
Leslie didn’t know what to say. Her sister had never even asked to play with her before, let alone spend ti together. Even though they were sisters, they had interacted little to nothing—they were complete strangers.
But Leslie had learned to live with it; she was no longer in the stage where she tried to get along with her younger sister. That chance had passed long ago.
"Sorry," Leslie apologized to her sister from this dream. Even if it wasn’t real, she felt it was better to say it than nothing. A small part of her wanted to play, even for a few monts, but her instincts warned her that if she did, a part of herself could be lost forever and transford into soone else.
As Leslie turned around, she felt everything around her crumble like shattered glass.

"Brother..."
I looked at her deeply and simply remained silent. My sister’s voice sounded so weak that if you didn’t pay attention or the room wasn’t silent, it would be impossible to hear her.
"This is what people call a miracle."
My sister’s weak voice sounded again.
Every ti her voice entered my ears, I felt like vomiting; my stomach churned, making feel a bit dizzy. On the other hand, my heart was beating strongly—was this feeling desperation or panic?
Swallowing hard: "How are you feeling?" I managed to ask with a soft smile.
"Very bad, my whole body hurts."
"Don’t worry... everything will be fine, I’m here with you."

"Amazing, isn’t it?" Celestin’s voice was full of energy, sothing peculiar given the state she was in...
Her whole body was covered in bandages, and bloodstains could be seen on them. Devices I saw connected to her body for the first ti, but even so, she never stopped smiling, and her eyes remained bright.
Sitting on the chair: "This room makes my body tremble a little." It was like a bad premonition—sothing stupid considering I was in front of a sick girl.
Letting out a sigh to myself: "It really is a miracle," I said with a smile. Ever since that night Celestin made pray with her, it seed like my luck had changed. My sister’s surgery was a success never seen before—sohow the doctors managed to defeat the cancer that was consuming her life. And about the paynt... by fate, the governnt took care of it.
The word miracle, to , is when things you desire with all your heart happen, luck is on your side, and life smiles at you.
I should be happy about everything that is happening to , but for so reason, I feel miserable and anxious. I don’t feel happy—sothing inside is changing without realizing it...
"What are you thinking about?" Celestin asked, curiosity in her tone...
Coming back from my thoughts, I looked at her from head to toe. A question crossed my mind: "It’s nothing, but... don’t you have anyone who can visit you?"
"No, I already told you, I’m abandoned! My father denies my existence—truly horrible. I feel very lonely here." Celestin’s eyes stopped shining, and she lowered her head. The snow-white bandages began to turn red again.
"If you want, I can co visit every weekend." I felt great pity for the poor girl, pity for myself, and pity for my sister. Seeing Celestin, a very cheerful and lovely girl, lower her head sadly—she reminded of us. We are alone, but in my case, I have my sister, and she has only herself.
"It’s a promise!" Her eyes shone again...
Every ti I see those eyes, I feel lost; I feel like I’m soone else. I feel lost, and at the sa ti, it seems the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my entire life.
Her tone returned to what it had been before—a beautiful song that captivates my ears and steals my thoughts. It seems unreal and senseless, yet it exists, and I am witnessing it...
"It’s a promise," she said slowly. I don’t know why I feel so worried about this girl—it just happened. You could call it coincidence, but it’s true that possibly thanks to her, who gave sothing to believe in, my sister was saved. An illogical thought, but what logic is there in believing in sothing that doesn’t exist or that you haven’t seen? None—it just happens, or it will happen.
