The air split apart.
Jess moved in a blur of flickering, seething flas, her form fluid and formless, slipping through the cracks of the collapsing camp. Each step she took left embers burning in the air, their glow flickering against the mirrored loose camp ground that fractured beneath her weight. The ground itself seed alive, a living, breathing entity that groaned and splintered under the pressure of her passage. Her movents were a dance of desperation, her body a living seething fla, twisting and turning as if the very air around her was trying to consu her...
Swoosh!
She twisted sharply, her body bending at an impossible angle as a black hole tore open where her feet had just been. The edges of the void pulsed with a silent hunger, devouring even the reflections that once existed beneath them. The ground shattered further, the mirrored shards rising into the air like jagged teeth, only to be swallowed by the growing darkness.
Above her, Celia soared, her movents unnaturally smooth, untouched by gravity’s demands. A chilling blue frost spread beneath her wake, not simply freezing, but corrupting. It unraveled the very idea of warmth, of motion, of existence. The frost crept across the loose camp ground like a living thing, its icy tendrils reaching out to snuff out any trace of life. The air around her crackled with an unnatural chilling cold, a cold that seed to seep into the very fabric of existence.
Up above… sothing moved.
A cut in reality, a slice in existence, too thin to be seen, too fast to be understood. A silent whisper of motion, a killing intent so subtle it could have been mistaken for calming wind. But Celia saw it.
Her Eagle Gaze turned the impossible into clarity. The blade that defied space and ti was descending toward Jess, an execution shoved into the very air.
Celia moved.
Faster than thought. Faster than breath..
She landed on Jess’s front, her icy-blue blade flashing as it t the unseen slash. The impact was deafening, a screeching.. CLIIING! that reverberated through the very loose camp air. The force of the collision sent shockwaves rippling across the mirrored ruins, the ground cracking and splintering beneath them. The redirected force of the slash carved into the far empty horizon, splitting the mirrored sky and space-ti itself.
Jess barely had ti to register what had just happened. The aftershock alone sent multiple cracks spiraling across the mirrored loose camp ground, the shards rising into the air like a storm of fractured glass. Her jaw clenched, her teeth grinding together as frustration seethed within her. She had been slowing Celia down.
Jess exhaled, biting her lip... I’m slowing her down, she muttered silently, her voice barely audible over the untad chaos around them.
Celia’s expression didn’t change. Calm, sharp. "We need to kill Hela first."
Jess exhaled through gritted teeth. "How? I can’t even see her attacks, let alone her."
She didn’t get an answer.
Because another slash ca.
And another... And another.
They dodged. Barely.
A Water Imbued slash split past them, leaving behind a trail of warped, screaming space. That defied reasoning.... Then another slash ca. The air turned into an execution ground, a storm of incomprehensible slashes that defied laws, cutting through existence before and after they were swung. The slashes were everywhere, a relentless barrage that seed to co from every direction at once.
Jess twisted, seething flas bursting from her heels as she barely avoided a cut which cut grazed her right arm. She saw Celia deflecting them, moving with an inhuman grace, her blade a blur of icy-blue light. But it was getting faster… too fast.
And In that mont of a slight distraction..
SHRIP!
Her torso bisected, flas spilling out instead of blood.
She barely had ti to react before another ca.
Shhkt!
Her leg.
Shhkt!
An arm.
She parried where she could, bursts of infernal embers flaring to life… desperate, frantic, keeping her together as much as possible, but the Infinite slashes did not stop. Her body was a patchwork of flas, her limbs reforming as quickly as they were severed, but the pain... It was real, searing through her like a white-hot brand. A living testant of what she is passing through...
"Jess!" Celia’s voice cut through the chaos, the only sound untouched by the warping devastation around them.
Jess gritted her teeth, her severed limbs already knitting themselves back together, reford in flickering seething flas. "Don’t worry about !" she barked, her voice rough, ragged. "I’ll be fine! Just keep dodging!"
The mont the word left her mouth, an infinite number of black holes erupted into being.
Not one. Not ten. Hundreds. Thousands. More than the mind could comprehend. So so small they flickered like dying stars, others so massive they ate the very loose camp light. The mirrored ground shattered turning more desolate. The air scread as it seized.
Everything that wasn’t them was gone.
GONG.
Ti. Stopped.
Jess felt it deep inside her bones.
An absolute undeniable stillness.
Not slowness. Not pressure.
It was sothing beyond all of that. sothing beyond comprehension.
She could still think. Still feel. Still know she was about to die.
Because even as ti held them in place…
The water slashes that defied reason kept coming.
Slowly.
Inevitably.
Not bound by ti. Not bound by laws. Guoly’s attack would reach them regardless.
Jess couldn’t move.
Celia couldn’t move.
The realization settled like thick iron chains around their very throats. They couldn’t win.
Celia had no regeneration. No way of survival..
Jess had no escape. A desolate end..
This was it.
Unless…
No.
There was only one way out.
They had to Evolve.
But how?
How does one change when ti itself forbids them?
When fate has already written their ending?
No.
Jess’s eyes burned.
Celia’s grip on her icy blue blade tightened.
They weren’t done.
They couldn’t be done.
"We can’t die yet!"
BOOOOOOM!
A massive Boom erupted as the world shattered... In a chaotic spree...
An Evolution Had Just Blood....
