BOOM!

The sky was filled with fire.

A chaotic burst of null fla erupted from Jess’s hands, spiraling outward in a searing wave that devoured even the light around it. It was a fire that denied existence, swallowing space itself.

The air twisted again... this ti with frost.

Celia followed, her hands unfurling like a conductor guiding a silent orchestra. A wave of null frost surged forward, an all-consuming blizzard that warped and corroded everything in its path. The air beneath her iced over instantly, groaning under the pressure of its unnatural cold.

Then the wind shifted.

A massive portal split open, the air howling as three beasts slithered forth... massive, monstrous creatures shaped like elongated dragons, their flesh rippling with an unnatural translucence, their bodies entwined with the storm itself. Their mouths stretched open, hollow voids where throats should have been, and from their depths ca a windless force... a Null Wind.

The air died. The sound died. Even ti itself seed to hold its breath.

All of it...

Targeted him.

Surrounded on all sides, The Wanderer Who Laughs did not move. He only grinned wider.

BOOOOOM!

They struck all at once. The air exploded in a cascade of annihilation, fire and frost colliding with formless wind, the impact shattering the very air. The sound wasn’t a single burst, but a rolling detonation, echoing, cascading, growing with each strike as Jess, Celia, and Lovia poured more into the onslaught, the ground beneath them cracking, the atmosphere trembling beneath the weight of their combined power.

Yet...

Nothing.

Through the smoke, through the roaring aftermath, he stood. Unhard.

Not a single mark touched him.

Everything had been nullified before it even reached him.

Then... he dissolved.

A shifting mist swallowed the space where he had stood, dispersing like a silent exhale.

Silence fell.

The beasts dissolved back into wind. The battlefield, for all its destruction, was unsettling still.

The mist thickened.

It crawled across the everything swallowing what remained. Slowly, intentionally, it expanded... shrouding everything, blotting out sight, warping the very fabric of the air.

Jess exhaled sharply, scanning the shifting haze. Her voice was low, tense.

"This is escalating the longer we fight him..."

Lovia’s deep green eyes flickered through the fog, sharp and calculating. "It’s worse than that." She turned slightly, fingers flexing against the cold grip of her exoskeleton bio armor. "All our attacks are being nullified. We’re just wasting our strength at this rate. We need to find a way to land a real hit."

A mont of silence.

Then... Celia shifted.

She raised her hand, fingers twisting, shifting. A slow, thodical motion.

Frost blood from her fingertips. Not a wave. Not a strike. Sothing different.

Ice began creeping outward.. crawling, stretching, forming walls.

A box.

A massive, thick-walled prison of ice, enclosing the mist within its structure.

The temperature plumted. The air groaned beneath the weight of it.

And as the last layer sealed itself shut, Celia spoke.

Calmly.

"This way, he won’t hurt anyone outside yet."

The mont Celia spoke, the air crackled.

A sudden burst of electricity shattered the stillness, illuminating the frozen mist in jagged arcs. The scent of ozone filled the air as the distortion settled, and there.. standing within the aftershocks, was Uvan. His dark brown eyes flickered, unreadable, his exoskeleton bio armor humming with residual charge.

"He’s waiting below."

Celia’s gaze barely shifted, but the faintest tilt of her head was all the acknowledgnt needed. She had already seen it.

No more words were exchanged.

The four of them.. Celia, Jess, Uvan, and Lovia, descended, their movents fluid, controlled. The frozen earth beneath them crunched with each step, the thick mist curling around their forms as if unwilling to let them pass. The trees, once ancient and towering, were now encased in layers of ice.. hollow specters of their forr selves, their branches fractured under the weight of the frost.

A dead forest. Silent. Breathless.

Yet they walked.

Their figures, clad in iron-touched armor, cut through the mist, their presence the only thing defying the stillness. Their footfalls were deliberate, yet no sound echoed beyond them, as if the world itself had stopped listening.

Then.. A figure beca clear in the distance..

Atop a jagged rise of stone, half-consud by the frost, he sat.

The Wanderer Who Laughs.

His posture was lazy, almost mocking... one elbow propped against his knee, his head resting in his palm. That grin, stretched wide, unmoving. His hair, pale as decayed stardust, drifted slightly as if untouched by gravity. His skin.. darker than void itself, did not reflect the frost’s gleam but swallowed it entirely.

And his eyes.

Deeper than yellow. A hollow depth that promised nothing but agony and grief.

A low chuckle rumbled from his throat.

"It isn’t easy to kill you guys."

The words carried no frustration, no urgency. Just amusent. Twisted, unshaken amusent.

"You really are his team, huh?"

None of them answered.

The silence stretched, but if he cared, he did not show it. If anything, his grin widened.

"Your powers are quite... obstructive."

He spoke lazily, voice rolling in the air like an afterthought, yet it held a weight that pressed against reality itself.

"Don’t you want to feel what I am here to bring?"

His fingers twitched against his knee. A slow, deliberate motion.

"Don’t you want to experience it?

"True happiness. Absolute happiness."

A laugh followed, sharp and high, splitting the frozen quiet.

Still, they did not answer.

He exhaled, long and drawn out, as if disappointed but not surprised.

"I see."

His hand lifted from his knee, falling to his side, his head straightening from his palm.

"I wanted to leave you alone."

His gaze flickered over them... lingering, calculating.

"Since you were his team."

Then he paused.

And sothing in the world shifted.

The air did not change. The mist did not stir. The frost did not crack.

Yet sothing shifted.

A stillness beyond stillness. A silence beyond silence.

His hand extended outward. Just slightly.

The world stopped.

And then... he spoke.

A voice not just within the air, but within everything.

A voice that did not echo, but imposed.

"Only I am allowed to use power."

"No one else can."

A simple statent. No emphasis. No force.

Yet in that mont...

It beca law.

The world bent. The rules twisted. The very concept of ability, of resistance, of defiance.. ceased.

This was it.

The Transcended Rule...
