“Wizard!” Falls exclaid, eyes wide open.

The brown-eyed wizard made a slightly surprised noise, not expecting Falls to be so swift, and prepared for a second attack with a wave of his hand.
Falls wasn’t foolish, he quickly shook off the blood flowing from his wrist, stood up with a “swish”, completely disregarding his image, and scrambled away, rolling and crawling. While running, he alerted his companions, “Enemy attack! Wizard enemy attack! Quickly close the city gate, quickly call the magic knights for support!” His voice broke by the end of his shout.
Upon hearing Falls’ warning, the remaining soldiers reacted swiftly, directly intercepting the two teams trying to enter the city, retreating towards the inside of the city.
Then there was a “bang” sound, soone at the top of the city used a sharp iron axe to cut the centiter-thick hemp rope. Accompanied by a “thud” sound, a heavy iron gate fell heavily, crashing into the soil more than a dozen centiters, causing the ground around to tremble several tis, completely sealing the city gate shut.
The descending iron gate was made of fine iron, more than twenty centiters thick, normally requiring over a hundred people working together with a winch to pull it up, always tied firmly with multiple hemp ropes to the iron fittings at the top of the city. The two wizards imdiately pulled hard on the reins and whipped the horses, fleeing toward the area away from the city gate.
Two assistants wearing blue clothes, and a principal man in gray, their faces tense, followed along, jumping onto the carriage compartnt, retreating along with the two wizards.
People around fled in fear, in all directions, and Richard followed the flow, retreating a hundred ters away, narrowing his eyes slightly to observe the fleeing wizards and their party.
“In this situation, technically speaking, abandoning the carriage and fleeing with all their might would be wiser, right? Now, they still try to keep the goods, isn’t this too greedy? Aren’t they afraid of being pursued by the Pompo Family of Saint Louis City?”
Just as he finished talking to himself, Richard’s eyebrows rose.
He saw the fleeing wizard group already over five hundred ters away from the city gate, about to hit the main road and start rushing when suddenly a sharp whistling sound broke out.

A second batch of over ten spears descended, this ti not towards the front of the carriage, but directly targeting the horses.

A series of sharp whistling sounds arose once more, the third batch of spears appeared, this ti targeting the five wizards who had nowhere to hide from the broken carriage.
“Puff puff puff!”
The sounds of sharp objects piercing flesh were heard, except for the two wizards possessing extraordinary power who avoided the spear attacks, the remaining two assistants in blue and the gray-clothed principal man were all nailed to the ground.
The scene was dead silent.
The brown-eyed and gray-eyed wizards glanced at the corpses of their dead companions and walked out from the scattered goods, looking grimly towards Saint Louis City.
They watched as three cavalry units charged out from the corner of the front city walls of Saint Louis City, the ones who had thrown the spears earlier were these people.
Richard heard soone around him whisper, “It’s the magic knights!”
“Yes, it’s the magic knights, and three teams ca at once.”
“Even Deputy Commander Lord Sed of the magic knights has co, now there’s a good show to watch, those two troublemaking wizards are dood!”
Magic knights? Magic armored knights? Just over two hundred elite forces of the Pompo Family?
To deal with extraordinary wizards with mortal bodies, and still guarantee victory?
Richard raised an eyebrow.
Regarding the power of magic armored knights, he had previously witnessed it on the ship from the East Coast to the Main Continent. They were under the female Captain Elizabeth, and it was indeed a one-sided slaughter when dealing with pirates.
However, this was the first ti he saw magic armored knights dealing with real wizards.
He was sowhat curious to know their specific performance, so he could prepare for interacting with magic armored knights in the future.
With this thought, Richard turned his serious gaze towards the three teams of erging magic armored knights.
