Joseph saw the Demonized Wild Boar charging towards him. His expression changed slightly, but he wasn’t panicked. He spread his arms, and a green light enveloped his body, doubling his strength. With a "pa" sound, he t the Demonized Beast’s charge with both hands. He took three steps back with a "ta-ta-ta" sound, successfully halting its charge, then pushed it back forcefully over three ters.

The Demonized Wild Boar stopped after furrowing four trenches in the ground with its limbs. It sensed Joseph’s power and beca cautious, but it was only cautious, not afraid, as it continued to stare at Joseph, ready to attack at any mont.

At this mont, the rest of the Demonized Creatures also rushed out from the flas, all injured to so extent but not severely, instead becoming more ferocious, baring their teeth and glaring at Joseph.

"What, you’re not afraid at all, are you? The flas can’t even wake your minds up. Fine, I’ll play with you and let you die swiftly then. Actually, I’d like to teach you a lesson this way."

Joseph spoke out, under the watch of many Demonized Beasts, he slowly took off his dark blue robes, shedding his noble-style outer garnt. Then he rolled the clothes into a ball, flipped his hand, and stored them in the Space Iron Ring.

With this done, Joseph was left in only a set of dark blue fitted clothing.

"Alright, beasts, take a good look at my power." Joseph said, shouting fiercely, his skin petrified, and his feet stomped the ground as he charged towards the nearest Demonized Wild Boar.

The Demonized Wild Boar growled lowly and charged, trying to knock Joseph down, only to be easily flipped over by him.

Joseph then reached out his hand, with a "pa" sound, grabbing one of the Demonized Wild Boar’s legs.

"Up you go!"

Joseph shouted, the green light on his body flared brighter, lifting the entire Demonized Wild Boar. Rotating it fully mid-air, he brutally smashed it into the ground.

"Boom!"

The ground trembled, forming a pit over twenty centiters deep, with the Demonized Wild Boar lying inside, groaning in pain.

Joseph showed no rcy, raining down punches like a gale, landing on the Demonized Wild Boar repeatedly.

Soon, its painful groans vanished, turning into weak breaths until finally, after a few spasms, it ceased moving.

Joseph snorted coldly and looked around.

The remaining Demonized Beasts were not intimidated by Joseph’s actions, a black wolf growled lowly and lunged forward.

Upon seeing this, Joseph waved his hand, creating a short, thick ice cone in the air that sped towards the wolf’s abdon.

Who would’ve thought the wolf would swipe its paw precisely and shatter the ice cone, continuing to pounce close to Joseph, jaws wide open to bite.

"Hmm!"

Joseph exclaid in slight surprise, his gaze sharpened, and in the next mont, both hands thrust out like iron clamps, accurately grabbing the upper and lower jaws of the wolf.

The wolf tried exerting force to close its mouth, aiming to bite Joseph’s hands off.

Joseph exerted force in the opposite direction, shouting "Open up" with a low cry, his arms exploded with dazzling dark green light, and with a "crack," he snapped the wolf’s mouth along with most of its head.

The wolf died instantly.

With a "bang,"

Joseph tossed the wolf’s body aside like trash, yet again looking at the remaining Demonized Beasts.

The other Demonized Beasts attacked in fury, attempting to avenge their comrades but quickly t the sa fate—falling one after another.

...

A few minutes later, the forest quieted down.

The ground was lined with the corpses of beasts, each brutally twisted, thoroughly dead.

Joseph stood in the middle of the forest, surveyed all around, and retrieved his outer garnt and robe from the Space Iron Ring, leisurely putting them on.

To him, this mission was already complete, and he could go back to deliver it.

Truth be told, this mission wasn’t very challenging. After all, the targets were not very powerful. Compared to killing them, finding them was more difficult. If he had better luck, he might have found and killed them on the first day here, completing the mission.

Of course, if he was luckier still, if these targets hadn’t shown up at all, he wouldn’t have had to co to this place.

He found it hard to understand, how this area that had been so peaceful suddenly had such a mob of savage, wantonly injurious Demonized Beasts.

However, since the mission was complete, he didn’t want to delve deeper. He just hoped these Demonized Creatures wouldn’t keep appearing out of nowhere, otherwise, he’d have to find out the exact cause thoroughly.

Thinking of this, Joseph finished dressing and turned to leave.

Just as he was about to step away, he suddenly stopped, seeming to have thought of sothing, and slowly turned his head to the side, staring at a nearby clump of grass for a mont, a slight smirk appearing with a hint of admiration.

The next mont, Joseph spoke towards the grass, "Not bad, not bad, really not bad, I almost forgot about you! It seems you’re clever indeed, hiding away when things looked bad. However, you should’ve been more decisive and fled. Because only by fleeing would you be safe, staying behind only to be discovered by at last. What, are you planning to hide in there all the ti? Fine then, I’ll personally invite you out!"

As Joseph spoke, he suddenly dashed towards the grass, reaching out with one hand.

The grass instantly moved, and a mouse jumped out, trying to escape into the distance, the sa normal rat that initially lured Joseph into the trap circle.

This ti, however, it couldn’t escape.

With a wave of Joseph’s hand, the ground wriggled, and a more-than-two-ter-high dirt wall rose, blocking the normal rat’s escape path.

The normal rat swiftly turned, as Joseph successfully got close, one hand dropping like an eagle’s claw.

"Squeak squeak!"

The normal rat scread, its fur standing on end, arcs of blue electricity danced around it.

Joseph snorted coldly, his hand enveloped in a ball of golden light fearlessly grabbed it, successfully catching the normal rat and lifting it for a closer inspection with icy eyes.

Realizing it was dood, the normal rat’s eyes showed intense venom, and its body puffed up like an angry pufferfish. Before Joseph could react, it exploded with a "bang," spraying a mass of flesh and blood towards Joseph.

Joseph’s expression changed, swiftly releasing an energy shield to block the flesh and blood. However, due to the hasty situation, so bits stuck to the hem of his clothing in the end.

The flesh had no offensive capability, and after sticking to the hem of his garnt, nothing changed, Joseph breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that the normal rat wasn’t like the Demonized Spider in the ruins. Then he frowned again, for he sensed a very uncomfortable erosive energy coming from the normal rat’s flesh, attaching onto himself and his clothing.

In fact, he had sensed this kind of erosive energy during the battle with the Demonized Beasts earlier, with a small amount already adhering to his body, but it was certainly not as much as caused by the normal rat’s explosion this ti.

If the previously attached erosive energy was quantified as 1, it was at least a 10 now, increasing by an order of magnitude, demanding attention.

Was this the normal rat’s form of revenge?

This thought ford in Joseph’s mind. Seeing his sullied robe, his brows knitted deeply.

It was a clothing item he quite liked, and it truly felt a pity to discard it because of the erosive energy contamination. But if not discarding it, how should it be dealt with?

Joseph’s frown deepened.
