Chapter 362: Chapter 361: The Suitcase in the Depths of the Tomb

In the night, Suo n had just finished speaking to Macbeth’s corpse and was about to move forward and continue according to the plan.

At that mont, Mu Konni on the side shouted, “Watch out!”

“How…”

Before Suo n could finish a word, Mu Konni had already acted, and a blue Magical Shield went up to block the side.

“Bang Bang Bang!”

With three explosive sounds, Mu Konni’s shield shook violently and cracked, but fortunately, it barely blocked all the attacks.

Then, they saw the attacks were still three golden Ice Cones, now completely shattered into ice crystals.

This!

Suo n’s eyebrows shot up, sowhat realizing, and he suddenly turned his head to look at Macbeth’s corpse, only to see the body distort and dissolve into green smoke.

“It’s an Illusion Magic Spell,” said Mu Konni. “We were deceived and didn’t actually kill the opponent.”

“Is it that damnable man in the white hat who played tricks on us?” Suo n frowned deeply.

“No,” Mu Konni’s expression grew very tense as her eyes quickly scanned the surroundings. She said, “That guy isn’t that strong yet. You’ve seen my mories, if he really had that kind of power, he wouldn’t have nearly been killed by earlier. I guess there must be soone else in the dark, using spells against us together.”

“Then hurry up and find the trickster!” Suo n’s expression turned solemn as he realized sothing was wrong.

Mu Konni, still scanning the darkness around them, said sowhat irritably, “I know what to do; don’t rush ! The opponent’s power might be stronger than mine; I need a bit of ti!”

Just as Mu Konni finished speaking, three golden Ice Cones whooshed through the air again, whistling loudly, their force seeming to tear through space.

This ti, both Suo n and Mu Konni quickly and defensively raised their shields and blocked the attack. Mu Konni then clenched her teeth, and a purple fla similar to the one Suo n had used earlier appeared in her palm.

“You forced my hand!” exclaid Mu Konni, swallowing the fla directly, and her montum burst forth from within, breaking past the limits of a First-level Wizard and reaching the level of a Second-level Wizard.

Mu Konni’s gaze beca incredibly sharp, sweeping through the night like a knife, and in the next mont, she raised her hand and nurous Wind Blades flew out.

“Hiss hiss hiss—”

The Wind Blades had not traveled far when they t an invisible barrier, causing intense friction and finally dissipating into nothingness.

A cold and striking female figure appeared, her skin extraordinarily pale and her expression as unchanging as a millennia-old glacier, seeming as if nothing could make her smile.

A presence no weaker than either Mu Konni or Suo n slowly emanated from her body; it was none other than a high-ranking mber of the White Stone Tower—phisto!

Standing next to phisto was an unhard Macbeth. Macbeth casually glanced at Suo n and Mu Konni, then looked away, seemingly indifferent, and took off the white hat he was wearing, brushing off non-existent dust.

After a long while, he put the white hat back on and then seriously turned to Suo n and Mu Konni and spoke, “You guys… you guys! As I told you, the White Stone Tower has heightened our alert and used one-sixth of our power against you, but you didn’t believe it!

Tsk, to speak the truth, when I kindly advised you earlier, you should have neatly run away; maybe then you could have escape with your lives, but you just wouldn’t listen and even tried to kill .

Ha! Did you really think I was so easy to kill? You thought too much! Now you’ve got what you asked for, too clever for your own good! You… um… wait for death!”

“Just with you!” Mu Konni snapped, “And that woman beside you? You are at most a First-level High Order Wizard, and that woman is only a Second-level Wizard, while now we are two Second-level Wizards. Do you really think you can defeat us? Who gave you such confidence?!”

“Who told you that there are only two of us here?” phisto coldly spoke, and as her words fell, Mu Konni and Suo n’s faces changed simultaneously.

They clearly sensed intense Mana fluctuations coming from all around the darkness, openly revealing itself and completely surrounding them.

Suo n felt a Second-level Wizard, not weaker than him in aura, using spiritual power to firmly lock on to him. anwhile, Mu Konni also noticed phisto in front of her, watching her closely with a serious face, ready to react extrely quickly to any of her movents. At the sa ti, nurous Level One Wizard’s gazes constantly fell on her, ready to attack her at any mont.

At this point, Macbeth spoke up, addressing Suo n and Mu Konni, “Did you truly not understand, or are you pretending not to understand what I said? I said it was one-sixth of our power! One-sixth of our power! One-sixth of our power is right here waiting for you! Only two of us? Ha, it’s you who are only two! Think carefully about how you’ll die!”

Suo n and Mu Konni’s faces turned extrely grim, and they exchanged quick words, “It seems we’ve fallen into a trap.”

“With all the actions we’ve taken recently, it’s difficult not to attract their attention.”

“It’s all because we accelerated the process; we shouldn’t have been so hasty.”

“But it has co to this.”

“Then…”

“There is only…”

“Well…”

Suo n and Mu Konni exchanged glances, and the next mont they unleashed a full-on attack against phisto, Macbeth, and the wizards surrounded by darkness!

“Boom!”

In the tomb.

“Tap tap… Tap tap…”

Richard walked through the corridors, reaching the end of the first corridor and arriving at Hall One. Other than the corpses of the Insect Army left from long ago, there was nothing else.

He continued forward to Hall Two and Hall Three, still with no surprises.

He walked all the way to Hall Four.

This was where the second exploration had stopped; here, there was an entire Mushroom Forest and a hidden new Insect Army.

At that mont, he saw the Mushroom Forest had completely withered, turned into hard, gray-green patches on the ground, resembling stones covered with moss.

Between the “stones,” there were many new bodies from the Insect Army, their mouthparts surrounded by dried yellow-green fluid, allowing one to imagine the scene of the Insect Army’s mbers constantly spitting out their dissolved innards and dying horribly.

Stepping deeper, the numbers of dead bodies from the Insect Army increased, and by the ti he reached the fifth corridor, they were dense and nearly filled half the corridor.

Richard had to expend so effort to clear the passage before he could continue forward to Hall Five.

There, he could see signs of another Mushroom Forest that had once thrived but also withered, shrunken, died off completely.

Among this, there were several massive monster corpses standing.

The monsters looked like a cross between beetles and moths, with wings on their backs and extraordinarily large heads. Standing, their bodies were over four ters tall, almost reaching the height of the hall, and they weighed at least a ton, more aggressive than a black bear. If they had any demonization abilities, even a proper wizard wouldn’t dare to face them lightly.

But now, they were all dead, their bodies rigidly maintaining a stance with their heads lifted upward.

This was because chlorine is heavier than air. After entering the tomb, it would first fill the bottom section and then gradually compress the space upward.

The monsters, restricted by so force and unable to leave the tomb, had tried to keep their bodies upright to breathe the ever-thinner air and then died in despair, as ignobly as a dog.

Perhaps they were powerful, maybe even comparable to wizards, but it all ant nothing now, for they were just corpses.

Richard briefly scanned the corpses and continued forward, passing through Hall Six, Hall Seven, and Hall Eight…

As he ventured deeper, Richard encountered more and more powerful monsters, but without exception, they were all dead. Perhaps they could have killed an explorer dozens of tis, but in the tomb once filled with chlorine, they were no different from any weaker beetles.

Richard went deeper, deeper, and even deeper, just as he had anticipated—without any obstacles and no dangers until the end.

At the deepest part of the tomb, Hall Fifteen.

Richard stopped, took off his bulky leather jacket, heavy oxygen tank, and cumberso beak mask, and looked forward.

He saw that Hall Fifteen was all gray—the floor was gray, the walls were gray, the ceiling was gray, utterly monotonous. There were no Mushroom Forests or monster corpses, just an empty space displaying a minimalist style.

In the center of this minimalist-style hall stood a gray stone pillar, over half a ter tall.

Atop the stone pillar rested a suitcase, looking quite ordinary, but its color was black—the only different color in the hall—strikingly conspicuous and attention-grabbing.

Undoubtedly, the suitcase conveyed in the most direct way, very clearly to those who found it: co, open it!

Richard’s eyes flickered, and he stepped forward.
