Chapter 319: Chapter 318: The Unyielding Steel Chapter 319: Chapter 318: The Unyielding Steel The muscular man being questioned heard Suo n’s words and struggled to turn his head, the muscles of his face twitched as if he was considering his response. After a long while, he slowly spoke out, “The book is… is inside your ass!”

“Hmm?” Suo n was startled, but beside him, Mu Konni couldn’t help bursting into laughter, and the expression of mocking amusent spread to the faces of the surviving mbers of the Steel Brotherhood.

Suo n was furious and slapped the muscular man, instantly killing him.

Suo n stepped over to the next living muscular man, pointed at the fresh corpse of the man he had just killed, and said, “You see what happens to those who don’t cooperate with , right?”

The questioned man nodded tremblingly, his face filled with terror.

“That’s good. If you don’t want to end up like him, then tell , where is the book really?”

The muscular man said, “It’s… it’s… it’s…”

Suo n, growing impatient, asked, “Where exactly?”

“It’s… it’s up your ass!”

“Ah?!” Suo n’s eyes bulged, his palm struck again, and the second muscular man’s head flew off. On the side, Mu Konni had to laugh, and Suo n glared at her; she covered her mouth, but her eyes were still brimming with amusent.

Suo n, incredulous, advanced toward the third living muscular man, but before he even spoke, the man said, “You… you want the answer, right? I’ll… I’ll tell you, it’s… it’s in your ass.”

“Snap!”

Suo n grabbed the muscular man and hurled him hard against the wall.

With a “bang,” the man hit the wall, slid down, blood flowing from his orifices—he wasn’t going to live.

Suo n then turned to the others but… not a single one cooperated with him.

Suo n’s brow furrowed; he hadn’t expected the mbers of the Steel Brotherhood to be so stubborn, which did catch him off guard.

Finally, Suo n looked towards a table deep in the tavern, where four severely wounded individuals were slumped in their chairs.

“Whew!”

Suo n took a deep breath and strode over, first looking at the biggest and most obvious one—Baki—and asked, “Tell , where is the book?”

Baki moved slowly in his chair, raising his hand to point behind Suo n: “It’s… there…”

“Where?” Suo n turned, following Baki’s direction, but saw nothing and was slightly puzzled.

“It’s right there!” Baki said earnestly, “Behind you… in your ass!”

“Ha ha!” Mu Konni laughed out loud on the side, “Ha ha, Suo n, I thought this might be interesting, but I didn’t expect it to be this amusing. Seems like you ran into a bunch of hardheads, can’t wait to see how you’ll handle this.”

“Damn it!” Suo n, driven to the edge of his anger, grabbed Baki and flung him hard at Mu Konni.

Mu Konni dodged, and Baki’s heavy body crashed to the floor.

Suo n ground his teeth at Mu Konni and said, “Shut up!”

Mu Konni shrugged in response.

Suo n turned his head to look at E Lai, and without even asking, saw the mocking smile on his face, which infuriated him more. He stretched out his hand and snapped E Lai’s neck.

Then Suo n looked at Ji Luo, sized him up from head to toe, his eyebrows slightly raised: “Hmm, a Bloodline Seed, huh? Not a weak presence. Bending to such a trivial gang is really a pity. Now I’m giving you a chance, tell what I want to know, and I can let you go.”

This ti Ji Luo did not show the sa stubbornness as the others. Hearing Suo n’s words, his eyes flickered, and he asked, “Are… are you serious?”

“Of course.”

“If I tell you the answer, do you promise you really won’t kill ?”

“Yes.”

“Then you want…”

“Tell the answer!” Suo n interrupted Ji Luo impatiently.

“Er, okay…” Ji Luo said, attempting to move in his chair, perhaps because the injuries were too severe he began to cough violently.

“Cough cough cough cough cough!”

Once he started, there was no stopping.

Suo n beca even more impatient.

Just then, Ji Luo’s coughing suddenly stopped, and he faced Suo n, spat out a mouthful of blood onto Suo n’s face, then sprung up from his chair and pounced. A tide of Corpse Mountain Blood Sea montum erupted from deep within his body—it was the Bloodline Power of Baron Level.

Suo n, faced with Ji Luo’s assault, had a sharp glint in his eyes. With an outstretched hand, the blood that left Ji Luo’s mouth and Ji Luo’s body were frozen in the air as if ti had stopped.

“Damn ant, die!” Suo n shouted in rage and fury, reaching out his other hand and gave Ji Luo a fierce slap, sending him flying backward, crashing heavily against the wall.

With a “bang,” Ji Luo’s body did not slide down the wall, but instead exploded under so force, blood and flesh painting the wall red.

Suo n took a deep breath, trying to calm his emotions, and looked to the last person—Fei’er, the third-in-command of the Steel Brotherhood.

Suo n grabbed him by the hair, yanked him forward, and demanded, word by word, “Tell , where is that book you got now?”

Fei’er was expressionless, silent before Suo n.

“Tell ! This is your last chance! Otherwise, you’ll regret it!” Suo n threatened.

Fei’er finally spoke, “Do you really want to know? You should understand, whatever cos out of my mouth won’t be any different from what you’ve heard from the others.”

“You!” Suo n glared.

“Cough cough…you…can kill , but you’ll never make yield. That’s why we are the Steel Brotherhood!” Fei’er said slowly, “In this world, steel…is the toughest thing. What can deform steel? Nothing. So, from , you’ll never get the answer you want.”

“Oh, is that so?” Suo n’s eyes narrowed, “You really think there’s nothing tougher than steel in the world? I tell you, wrong! It’s just that you damn ant are too ignorant to know. Also, you really think, just because you’re stubborn, I have no way to deal with you? Heh!”

Suo n snorted coldly, then turned to Mu Konni, “Mu Konni, you co, have a good interrogation with him.”

“Okay.” Mu Konni said, pacing over with a sly smile on her face.

Standing in front of Fei’er, Mu Konni placed her hand on his head, her expression slightly stern, and asked, “Child, tell where is the book? Better tell the truth, or you will be severely punished.”

“I…”

Fei’er’s face suddenly changed, writhing in pain, his gaze becoming hazy. This was because Mu Konni had instantly used “Bern’s Wrathful Punishnt,” a Spell of Spirit Magic, and it wasn’t sothing ordinary people could withstand.

“I…I will tell…” Fei’er submitted.

Mu Konni’s lips curled in satisfaction, looking at Suo n sowhat smugly, “See, how easy that was! If you had let handle it earlier, we wouldn’t have wasted so much ti.”

Suo n paid her no attention.

Feeling snubbed, Mu Konni turned back to Fei’er and asked, in a mocking tone, “Now tell , where is the book? It’s not really up his ass, is it?”

Suo n frowned.

“It’s…not…up his ass,” Fei’er stamred.

“Then where is it?” Mu Konni pressed.

“In…in…” Fei’er looked at Mu Konni, his befuddled gaze suddenly focusing, and declared, “It’s up your ass!”

“You! Smack!” Mu Konni’s brows shot up, and the next mont, Fei’er’s head exploded into a ss of blood and brain matter in all directions.

Mu Konni’s face grew even more unsightly than Suo n’s, cursing, “Damn Hybrid!”

“Your Spirit Magic failed?” Suo n asked with a glint in his eye.

“His willpower was too strong,” Mu Konni growled back, “Spirit Magic isn’t always effective, especially against those with strong will and high Spiritual Strength.

Generally speaking, Spell of Spirit Magic can only be fully effective when completely overwhelming the opponent. Against an enemy of equal level or with little difference, the effect can be uncertain, perhaps even less than fifty percent.

Considering this, in battles among Wizards of the sa level, few use Spirit Magic offensively, and if they do, they must be very cautious. If used improperly, not only might it not achieve the desired result, it could even be countered by the enemy. Therefore, compared to Shape-shifting Magic, Spirit Magic is considered more of a niche, with fewer practicing it; otherwise, Spirit Magic would have long ruled the world.”

“Is that so.” Suo n’s eyes flickered, sweeping his gaze over the corpses strewn about the tavern, muttering, “If that’s the case, this complicates things, it looks like I have to…”

“That’s fine.” Mu Konni nodded in agreent, acknowledging his point.
