Chapter 225: Chapter 224 Reward and Return Journey Chapter 225: Chapter 224 Reward and Return Journey Cavalry continuously slamd into the ice wall, and the people in the front squadron shattered like a piece of hard cheese hurled against a wall. Those in the rear were desperately pulling on the reins to slow their mounts and finally stop. But in the process, more than a fifth had already lost their ability to fight.

The loss of a fifth was significant, and during ordinary battles, the elite Pu Aiji cavalry could withstand it without disintegrating. But now, facing the terrifying wizards, it was a different story altogether; every face was pale, and eyes flickered uncertainly.

“Boom,” Macbeth stopped in front of the ice wall, dismounted, and landed on his feet.

Approaching the wall, Macbeth reached out and touched it, and with a crash, the entire ice wall shattered, reducing to a mix of red and blue rubble that covered the ground.

Stepping over the rubble and past the bodies and anguished moans of fallen cavalry, Macbeth walked up close and narrowed his eyes at the remaining four-fifths of the cavalry.

“Hm… Have you decided how you want to die yet? Don’t worry, I have a hundred ways to die for you to choose from.”

The remaining cavalry panicked, already in extre fear; they were on the verge of collapse.

The Cavalry Leader shouted loudly, “Don’t listen to this wizard’s nonsense, he’s not invincible, charge! Kill him! As long as we kill him… Ah!”

Macbeth raised his hand and a slender Ice Cone flew out, piercing through the Cavalry Leader’s skull. The Cavalry Leader shrieked as he fell from his horse, lifeless.

“Whoosh!”

The remaining cavalry fell into chaos, discarding their last shred of concern, they ran frantically in all directions—complete dissolution.

Macbeth watched the fleeing cavalry and couldn’t help shaking his head, “Thinking of running away? Unfortunately… I never intended to let any of you leave here alive.”

As he spoke, Macbeth pulled out a silver spike resembling a chopstick from his chest and caressed it briefly before tossing it into the air.

Muttering the spell, as it sliced through the air with a whistling sound, the spike turned into a silver streak and shot like lightning at the nearest cavalryman.

“Thud,” the spike effortlessly pierced through the cavalryman’s skull, and he scread as he fell off his horse.

“Thud,” the spike, without losing montum, shot towards the head of a second cavalryman, piercing, killing.

“Thud,” then a third cavalryman.

Then a fourth cavalryman, a fifth… and eventually the hundredth…

The massacre progressed rapidly, Macbeth stood still as the spike continually reaped lives, and soon the entire battlefield was as quiet as death itself. All the cavalry were dead, the horses dragging the corpses caught in their stirrups wandered aimlessly, making “sch sch” sounds.

“Whoosh!”

The sharp sound of the spike coming back grew close, Macbeth reached out and with a snap caught the silver spike that remained untainted by blood and tucked it back. He glanced over the battlefield, clicked his tongue, turned, mounted his horse, and rode towards Richard and Nancy, who had taken cover to one side.

As he approached Richard and Nancy and saw their expressions, Macbeth asked with satisfaction, “How about that, impressive, right?”

“Ah, impressive,” Richard said. In terms of efficiency in killing, Macbeth certainly lived up to the term.

“Very impressive,” Nancy said earnestly as well.

“Heh heh,” Macbeth laughed, “As long as it’s impressive. Alright, our mission is accomplished. We can now return to the great ship, back to White Stone Tower.”

“Oh right,” Macbeth rembered sothing and looked at Richard and Nancy, “You two followed on this mission and went through so hardships, Raymond even died directly. Now that the mission is complete, shouldn’t I give you so form of reward, or shall we say, compensation?”

“Um, this…”

“Hmm, here you go, Nancy.” Macbeth pulled out the silver cone he had used to kill earlier and handed it to Nancy.

Nancy’s eyes couldn’t help but widen, “Lord Macbeth, this magic tool, isn’t it too precious? I…”

“In fact, it’s not that valuable,” Macbeth said.

“Huh?” Nancy was puzzled. “But you just killed so many people…”

“The reason I could kill so many people was simply because I was controlling it,” Macbeth spoke indifferently, “This cone is just an ordinary offensive magic tool. How much of its ability is displayed largely depends on the strength of the spellcaster.

“If I wield it, naturally I can easily kill a multitude of people. But for you, even after becoming a Third-level Wizard Apprentice, in most cases, you can only use it for sneak attacks. And it’s better not to use it against enemies who are stronger than you, otherwise… hmm, it’s very easy to launch an attack and not be able to retrieve it—because it might be taken away.”

Towards the end, Macbeth’s facedarkened slightly, as if recalling so unimpressive past experience.

“Uh…” Nancy obediently caught the silver cone and sincerely said thanks, “Thank you, Lord Macbeth.”

Macbeth didn’t pay it much attention and turned to Richard, “As for you… take this.”

“What is this?” Richard looked at the vial of golden liquid that Macbeth had passed him, his eyes gleaming.

“This is called ‘Spartan Heroic Potion’,” Macbeth said.

Upon hearing this, Richard’s eyes flashed, touching upon a mory.

Spartan Heroic Potion?

That seed to be sothing recorded on the parchnt discovered on the pirate ship.

There were two pieces of parchnt found in the secret compartnt of the pirate ship’s cabin. The old parchnt recorded the “Spartan Heroic Potion”—its ingredients were extrely complex, many of which he had never heard of.

And the new parchnt recorded the “One-eyed Frenzy Potion,” which was also the prototype for the “Prototype Acuity Potion” that had been developed.

Clearly, the effects of the “Spartan Heroic Potion” were stronger than the “One-eyed Frenzy Potion.” However, as he didn’t know enough about the Wizard World at the ti, he couldn’t study it, but now he had the actual item.

Richard looked at Macbeth and heard him say, “This potion cos from the Ancient Wizard Civilization. Its effect is to allow a person to burst forth with great combat power in a short ti. The side effects are minor, and each use permanently enhances a person’s physical constitution.

“If it’s taken to the extre, it might even awaken one’s Bloodline Seed. In my view, the chances of you becoming a Wizard aren’t great, but you can take the Bloodline Seed path and then use potions to burn your life away to beco a Wizard. In that case, the ‘Spartan Heroic Potion’ will be very important to you.

“However, the Spartan Heroic Potion is quite precious; the formula has always been kept a closely guarded secret. I could only get my hands on this small vial, so use it sparingly.”

Richard took the potion, looked at Macbeth, and spoke, “Thank you, Lord Macbeth.” anwhile, his thoughts were racing:

Can the “Spartan Heroic Potion” permanently enhance a person’s physique and help activate a Bloodline Seed? And with its formula being secret and its quantity scarce?

But I do have the formula, so with this actual product, is it possible to research and figure out how to mass-produce it? Even if I can’t activate the Bloodline Seed, I could improve physical constitution. Once I reach the White Stone Tower, I might try selling it to others in exchange for so things I need.

Hmm… this could indeed be useful.

“No need to thank ,” Macbeth said casually, responding with a wave of his hand, “Alright, it’s getting late. Let’s get moving.”

“Yes,” Richard and Nancy both nodded. In the next mont, they followed Macbeth, speeding off on horseback toward the distance.
