"Splash, splash!"

Bi Bi lay on the table, listening to the soft noises Richard made while preparing things nearby.

After a short while, Richard walked over, holding only a fairly ordinary crystal ball and a finger-thick tal rod, with no other tools. As it is, given Richard’s current spell level, many operations no longer require any tools, and he can perform them using only energy.

Richard walked up to Bi Bi, who was lying on the table, glanced at her, and asked one last ti, "Are you ready?"

"Yes." Bi Bi responded.

Richard didn’t waste words and gently tapped Bi Bi’s forehead with the tal rod he held. Bi Bi’s entire body twitched as if electrically shocked and then relaxed completely.

"Relax, just relax..." Richard spoke softly as he placed the crystal ball in his other hand on Bi Bi’s forehead. Energy flowed in, activating the crystal ball, which emanated a deep blue glow from within.

After a dozen seconds, the crystal ball shone brighter, softening from a solid to a liquid, and finally, like water, it seeped into Bi Bi’s body.

Bi Bi’s eyes widened, images flashing rapidly in her pupils.

mories that existed but were sealed were now unlocked entirely, flooding into her mind.

Bi Bi’s body trembled slightly, as liquid flowed from the corners of her mouth, nostrils, and ears—a deep blue color, precisely the lted liquid of the crystal ball that had previously seeped into her.

The outpouring of liquid continued for over ten minutes, and after it had all been expelled, under Richard’s control, it re-ford into a sphere, the blue fading away, leaving behind an ordinary crystal ball.

Bi Bi, lying on the table, stopped trembling, looked at the ceiling for a while, and suddenly let out a deep breath, sitting up. A contemplative look appeared on her face, as if she was sorting through the mories she had just unlocked.

Concerned, Richard asked, "How do you feel? Is there anything unusual..."

"I..." Bi Bi hesitated, looked at Richard, blinked, as if in confirmation, and asked, "Is it over now? Did I... just restore my mories?"

"Yes." Richard nodded, sowhat puzzled, "Why, did you not gain new mories?"

"No, no." Bi Bi shook her head, showing a slightly disappointed expression, saying, "Of course I gained mories, but that’s all it is, just suddenly rembering so forgotten things, having a dream, hearing a story... other than that, there’s nothing else."

Hearing this, Richard was at a loss for words, glanced at Bi Bi a few tis, and asked, "Did you expect to gain sothing else beyond this?"

"I don’t know either." Bi Bi shook her head, "But I always thought, since you said restoring mories was so dangerous beforehand, it should have been much more interesting, much more exciting when actually done. Now it seems it wasn’t anything special, not worth my contemplation and anticipation for so long."

By the end, Bi Bi’s disappointnt was evident on her face.

Richard: "..."

After a few seconds of silence and looking at Bi Bi, he spoke up: "At least you can be thankful for one thing now, which is that your mory recovery was very successful with minimal impact on you, hardly changing your personality. Or rather, you naturally have this personality, so even if it changed, it wouldn’t be noticeable. It’s like pure water rging into pure water, remaining pure water."

"But I’m not pure water, am I? I should belong to that strange-colored water category." Bi Bi acknowledged knowingly.

In fact, you’re more like a mudslide... Richard thought to himself, glancing at Bi Bi as he spoke, "Alright, the fact that you’re not feeling odd is the best outco. But don’t let your guard down, keep an eye on your condition in the upcoming days. If anything feels off, tell imdiately, and I’ll figure sothing out."

"Got it." Bi Bi nodded, jumped off the table, and started walking out, still with a disappointed expression on her face.

It seems she did have too many unrealistic expectations about mory recovery.

Just as she was about to walk out the door, Bi Bi stopped in her tracks, as if sothing occurred to her, she turned back and asked Richard aloud: "Hey, Richard, say... since you can restore my mories, does this an you can modify my mories too?"

"Modify mories?" Richard pursed his lips, replying, "That can indeed be done, but compared to mory restoration, modifying mories is more challenging, more intricate, and has a higher failure rate. After all, the modified mories might conflict with the original ones, leading to unpredictable consequences. Unless necessary, I wouldn’t recomnd doing it."

Bi Bi listened and pursued, "But if the modified mories are completely unrelated to the original ones, then, wouldn’t that be possible?"

"If the modified mories are completely unrelated to the original? Then... it should fall under the category of adding mories."

"Yes, yes, precisely that—adding mories." Bi Bi nodded slightly excited, asking, "That should be doable, right?"

Richard gave Bi Bi a strange look, puzzled by her intent, asking, "What mories do you want to add? And why add them?"

"I want to add learning knowledge." Bi Bi stated.

"Hmm?" Richard raised an eyebrow, as if he hadn’t heard clearly.

"Learning knowledge!" Bi Bi reiterated, "Like the knowledge you want to learn, such as math, chanics, and so forth."

Bi Bi counted on her fingers, continuing, "Anyway, aren’t these all constructed from mory? If you could add this knowledge as mories into my mind, wouldn’t I know them without having to learn, wouldn’t that be convenient, haha, aren’t I smart!"

Bi Bi, sowhat smug, kept talking, glanced at Richard, and seeing his peculiar expression, curiously asked, "Why, why has your expression changed? Did I say sothing wrong?"

"No." Richard slightly shook his head, giving Bi Bi a deep look, saying with so emotion, "Actually, it’s not wrong, it’s quite right. Your idea aligns with a small study I have been doing recently, a study inspired by mory restoration—to use magic to infuse knowledge into soone through mory addition, which could greatly accelerate cultivating a qualified person. I just didn’t think, now that I’ve made so progress, you’d ntion it."

"Haha, that shows I’m really smart." Bi Bi bead with a bright smile, very pridefully, she then eagerly inquired, "So, should we directly infuse the knowledge into , then I wouldn’t have to study hard anymore."

"Are you certain?" Richard asked, seriously explaining, "This carries risks, greater than when you restored your mories earlier. You should know, this study of mine hasn’t been completely verified. Using it on you might lead to adverse effects, even though you’re a puppet, and I can fix you if necessary, it’s still not the best thing."

"It’s alright, I’m not afraid." Bi Bi stated earnestly, "Quick, let try it."
