Capítulo 1347: Chapter 1345: Solution

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

“Swipe! Swipe! Swipe!”

The Gray Mist relentlessly pursued Richard, who could only evade quickly—although he wished to counterattack, facing the Gray Mist who had unlocked twelve seals, opportunities were scarce.

In this situation, his combat power was forcibly suppressed by the Gray Mist, leaving him restrained and unable to find suitable conditions to use the “Destructive Gloves” or tactical nuclear weapons.

The only thing he could seemingly do was dodge, dodge, and dodge again.

Misasuring by a beat would risk being attacked by the Gray Mist; once or twice he could still withstand, but if it happened too often, it would beco dangerous.

After a few minutes of this.

“Bang!”

“Swipe!”

The Gray Mist punched again, but Richard once more used Void Magic to evade and paused his actions, furrowing his brows with a slightly displeased expression.

Turning his head to look at Richard reappearing dozens of ters away, the Gray Mist spoke: “Hey, kid, is dodging all you can do now? Where’s your earlier arrogance, huh? What about your attempts to kill , go on, show again, I’m still waiting for you to surprise once more. If you can truly kill again, maybe even three tis, I might be surprised by my own strength after unsealing, and I’ll thank you for it.”

“No, forget it,” Richard replied.

“Why?” Gray Mist asked.

“I’m afraid I no longer have any thods I can confidently use to completely kill you,” Richard said frankly, spreading his hands. “I have to admit, I’ve lost this battle. Initially, I could defeat and kill you, but as you grew stronger, I could only barely fend off your attacks—you were right, killing you is akin to killing myself, your so-called ‘Undying’ is far stronger than I imagined, exceeding .”

“Hm—” Gray Mist uttered, looking at Richard with a slightly surprised expression, “You actually admit defeat? I thought soone like you would never admit defeat.”

“I am soone who speaks of reality, although I have my pride, reality is reality and won’t change according to personal will,” Richard said. “Although I indeed didn’t want this, it has happened, and I must accept it.”

“So, you truly admit defeat?” Gray Mist confird, raising his voice deliberately so the entire battlefield could clearly hear.

Richard didn’t hesitate or seek excuses for his failure, responding earnestly: “Yes, I truly admit defeat!”

Upon hearing Richard’s words, everyone in the Alliance—whether the four Magic Knights or the observing Soron—were moved.

They were fully aware of the Gray Mist’s might and reached the conclusion without hesitation: with their strength, they truly cannot kill the indescribably powerful Gray Mist.

Nonetheless, they did not retreat, thinking Richard was the last hope, believing perhaps he would produce a trump card to suddenly kill the Gray Mist—for Richard has done so many tis before.

However, discovering this last hope shattered, they fell into utter despair.

Could it be that Gray Mist truly is unkillable? Could it be the Truth Society truly cannot be defeated? Could it be this battle is truly lost?

The atmosphere on the battlefield turned heavy.

The Alliance Army tried to continue besieging the Truth Society Wizard but started holding back—three-parts attacking, seven-parts defending—cautiously guarding against another massacre by the Gray Mist.

The Wizards displayed varied expressions; the Green Robed Wizard layered countless Shields over himself, thinking he was safe but now silently continued adding more.

The four Magic Knight Commanders gripped their weapons tightly, ready for a desperate fight, yet facing the Gray Mist, they truly did not expect how long they could hold.

Soron’s expression on the edge of the basin grew serious as a Shadow appeared behind him, seemingly ready to cover his retreat.

Soron didn’t move, watching the battlefield, considering, then said: “Let’s wait a bit longer.”

The Shadow was puzzled but said nothing, staying behind Soron and poised to protect him at any ti.

At this mont, the Gray Mist spoke again, scrutinizing Richard for a while before asking: “So what do you plan to do next? Surrender? Submit? Rejoin our organization? But your cris are unforgivable, even if you surrender, I cannot grant you absolution, but I can offer you a chance at avoiding death if you can seize it.”

“Thanks for your kindness, but it’s unnecessary,” Richard said softly.

“Huh?” Gray Mist asked, confused.

“Because I never intended to surrender,” Richard replied.

The Gray Mist was temporarily baffled by Richard’s train of thought: “Didn’t you admit defeat? You admitted it, yet won’t surrender? Why admit defeat then?”

“Admitting defeat is the truth, confirming in battle I’m at a disadvantage, confirming I can’t ensure your death. Not surrendering is my choice,” Richard explained.

“So, you admit defeat but plan to continue resisting, to die with dignity?” Gray Mist asked.

“Not exactly,” Richard shook his head, “I’m simply planning to solve you with another thod.”

“Ha?” Gray Mist’s eyes widened, staring at Richard for several seconds before speaking, “Are you kidding, kid? You clearly can’t beat , yet think you can solve ? You’ve already lost, but believe you have the ability to solve ?”

Richard’s expression didn’t change much, calmly saying: “In truth, this isn’t contradictory. In battle, I’m indeed not your match but doesn’t an I can’t solve you; comparatively, solving might be simpler—sotis we’re just constrained by our imagination.”

Gray Mist felt like laughing but didn’t because he noticed Richard was serious.

Then…

The Gray Mist squinted his eyes, blinking once, intrigued, saying: “I truly want to see what you an by ‘solving with a thod unrestricted by imagination’.”

“As you wish,” Richard said.

With these words, he tapped his foot, his body twisted, quickly disappearing.

An instant later, Richard reappeared several ters to the left of the Gray Mist, pressing with both hands, materializing a familiar Blood-colored Energy Pillar, as Blood Power Extraordinary Factors once more entwined the Gray Mist.

Gray Mist punched, Richard didn’t waste ti and twisted his body to disappear again, only to appear behind the Gray Mist.

Repeating the technique, he pressed both hands down, forming a second Blood-colored Energy Pillar, more Blood Power Extraordinary Factors entwining the Gray Mist.

Gray Mist punched again, but Richard disappeared preemptively, then appeared around various spots near the Gray Mist, establishing one Blood-colored Energy Pillar after another, eventually creating a total of nine Blood-colored Energy Pillars.

Finishing this, Richard retreated a few steps, raising his hands, unleashing the power of four Energy Furnaces, causing air to condense, forming nurous Air Walls encircling the Gray Mist.

Gray Mist punched, shattering Air Walls with a “swish, swish,” but Richard kept reconsolidating them. Richard seed more efficient, thus, in this mutual exchange, a new conical structure gradually took shape.
