Experint.

Experint.

Experint.

For the next three whole days, Richard was busy with various experintal studies.

Except for the initial small experint aid at finding errors, most of the remaining experints were attempts to use the blood seal to analyze the blood power extraordinary factor. Then, using the information from the analysis, he improved the repair spirit liquid to promote recovery from bodily damage.

During Richard’s busyness, the male wizard also spent three days.

In comparison, his three days were quite difficult, or you could say... torture.

...

Three days later, in the morning.

In Eden.

The male wizard sat on the ground in front of the main laboratory. His body was swollen, his ten fingers were like carrots, and his face was as pale as paper.

The reason for this was simple, just two words—hungry.

That’s right, hungry.

Richard previously said to let the male wizard calm down and then turned to busily handle other matters, resultantly not paying any attention to the male wizard for three days, not even giving him a piece of black bread, leaving the male wizard starving for three days.

If it were any other ordinary person, they likely would have already starved to death. Even if faring better, they would be on the brink of death due to hunger.

However, the male wizard, after all, was still a wizard, even if he lost control over extraordinary power, his spirit was stronger than ordinary people, allowing him to slightly adjust bodily chanics and keep the body in a state of extrely low consumption, thus managing to hold out and not starve to death.

But not starving to death didn’t an he was well off. From two days ago, the male wizard’s stomach started rumbling non-stop.

After half a day of rumbling, the male wizard couldn’t resist leaving the house, attempting to go out and forage for food.

However, once he stepped outside, he fell into a state of despair.

Yes, despair.

Thinking of past events, the male wizard couldn’t help but turn his head and look around. Seeing that to his left there was a magic puppet made of white bones, to his right was another magic puppet made of white bones, in front, behind, all were magic puppets—there were no less than a dozen magic puppets encircling him layer by layer.

"What is going on!"

The male wizard frowned and couldn’t help but stand up.

As soon as he stood halfway, the magic puppet beside him extended its strong white bone arm, placing it on his shoulder, forcefully pressing him back to the ground.

"Thump!"

With a sound, the male wizard sat back on the ground, heaved a long sigh: Alas, the sa scenario had repeated countless tis over the past day and a half.

He rembered that at first, he ca out after walking too tired, wanting to sit on the ground to rest and conveniently scrutinize the surroundings to see where there might be food. But even as he was surveying, several magic puppets ca over, sitting right next to him.

And each ti he tried to stand up, he was destined to be pressed down by the magic puppets.

Once, twice, three tis...

Ten tis, twenty tis, thirty tis...

A hundred tis!

At first, he was puzzled, cursing out loud, trying hard to break free.

Gradually, he beca numb.

In the end, he accepted his fate.

Apart from occasionally standing up to ensure he wasn’t going mad—the surrounding magic puppets indeed boringly prevented him from standing, rather than it being his illusion—he spent most of his ti sitting and thinking on the ground.

He felt he really might end up starving to death here, potentially becoming the first wizard to starve to death.

However, if he happened to survive this ordeal, letting Richard know he wouldn’t easily give in, maybe Richard would opt to sit down and negotiate so terms with him.

Just as he thought of this, he heard the sound of "tat-tat-tat" footsteps approaching.

Suddenly turning his head, listening closely, he saw an old man with white hair whom he had t before appear—it was the witch demon elder.

The magic puppets around the male wizard automatically parted, the witch demon elder approached, extended a finger to poke the male wizard’s body, and seeing the male wizard’s expression slightly change, nodded in satisfaction, "Not bad, it seems my magic puppets are protecting you well, just keep doing this."

Saying that, the witch demon elder turned and left, the parted magic puppets re-encircled the male wizard.

The male wizard, however, shouted emotionally, "Hey, hey, old man, did you intentionally have these magic puppets trap , preventing from standing?"

"Hmm?" The witch demon elder halted at the voice, glanced at the male wizard, didn’t deny it, nodded and said, "Yes, why, is there a problem?"

"Isn’t it a problem?!" Although the male wizard was incredibly weak with hunger, at this mont his voice was exceptionally loud, shouting like a volcanic eruption, "Why are you doing this? I admit I called you an old madman before, but you’ve already knocked out once, that should clear it up. Why do you still want to retaliate against in such a boring way?"

"Retaliate against you?" The witch demon elder frowned walking back, looking at the male wizard, lightly coughed, "Hey, you can’t speak recklessly. Where did I retaliate against you, I was protecting you."

"Protecting ?" The male wizard seed to hear the world’s biggest joke.

The witch demon elder, however, said seriously, "That’s right, protecting you. Didn’t you know, there’s an extrely shaless eight-ard skeleton in this place, he’s heinous, evil to the core, and has a special affinity for others’ valued bones, willing to do whatever it takes to get them.

Since you’re new here, if I didn’t use so many magic puppets to protect you, if you fell into his hands, he might dismantle you and rip out your bones."

Upon hearing this, the male wizard was slightly startled, then sank into sorrow, loudly saying: "But if you intend to protect , you could let know, why not let stand up?"

"You’re currently in a place not far from my residence, I can conveniently look after you at any ti. In case you stand up and run far away, that wouldn’t be possible." The witch demon elder continued seriously.

"Then... then if you really want to protect , why not give so food to eat as well?"

"Food? Why, are you hungry?" The witch demon elder seed a bit surprised upon hearing this, then shrugged and asked, "But... what does it have to do with ?

Previously, that little girl Pandora just told , Richard asked to take care of you a bit: don’t let you get played to death, and don’t let that eight-ard skeleton bastard play you to death either. I achieve that, the rest I’m too lazy to care about."

"But at this rate, I’ll end up starving to death."

"As long as you’re not played to death, however you die, that’s your freedom."

Male Wizard: "I..."

At this mont, he suddenly realized, everyone here really, truly doesn’t care about him, rely treating him as an optional existence. His life was not even on par with Richard’s casual advice.

Richard’s previous words... were true.

If he didn’t cooperate, he held no value to Richard, he would also die aninglessly.

So...

Instantly, all his ntal defenses completely collapsed.

He thoroughly understood: If he didn’t find a way to change his circumstances, he was bound to beco a starving wizard.

No exceptions.

And he, absolutely didn’t want this.

At this mont, he saw Richard walking out from the main laboratory door, seemingly pondering over sothing, hastening towards the distant area, not even glancing at him.

Clearly, Richard was busy and had no ti to deal with him.

The male wizard strained to swallow a mouthful of saliva, watching Richard, and the next mont gathered all his strength to shout, "Hey, I confess! I’m willing to tell you everything!"

"Everything!"

"Hmm?"

While walking, Richard stopped, slightly displeased from having his train of thought interrupted, then turned and looked back.
