Capítulo 1092: Chapter 1090: Plan No. 5

A dozen minutes later.

Cheka finished speaking a long passage, took a deep breath, surveyed the many wizards in the room, and said seriously, “Alright, that’s all I have to say. In short, I am absolutely certain that Wizard Richard is a spy. Perhaps the evidence we currently have is not clear enough, but as long as we capture him, we can complete the evidence after interrogation.”

After a pause, Cheka said, “The next key is how to capture the opponent. So of you may be quite aware, so of you may be lacking in understanding, but from my personal experience, the opponent’s strength is exceptionally powerful.

Just now, Supervisor Long i’er and I were talking, and he ntioned that the opponent once engaged him, even causing him considerable injuries—which is why he thinks so highly of the opponent, though it’s a pity the opponent disappointed him.

Therefore, the capture operation must be carefully planned and not executed hastily. If the opponent is prepared to resist or fight a desperate battle, it would be very troubleso, causing serious damage to Pompeii, not to ntion, it is not suitable to cause too many casualties among the capture team. Certainly, those who die can be resurrected. But recently, with the scarcity of so resurrection materials, the cost of resurrection has beco more and more expensive, so we should avoid death as much as possible.

My plan is to find an opportunity to lure the opponent out of his residence, away from his ho ground. Get him into a relatively open area, allowing enough wizards to attack and preventing him from having a chance to dodge.

However, a critical point is to have a sufficiently strong wizard on site to prevent the opponent from breaking out at all costs. Although the guardian magic set by Supervisor Long i’er is strong, after all, it’s just guardian magic, and it can’t stop the opponent from forcibly leaving Pompeii. Originally, I was ready to take on this role, but considering my previous death, there might be an accident again, so I hope there are other strong mbers who can step up.”

The many wizards in the conference hall, after listening to Cheka’s long speech, looked at each other, sowhat hesitant. It was not fear, but rather a lack of confidence.

Among those present, the strongest was only a third-level wizard, and not even at the peak of the third-level wizard—those with third-level wizard peak strength were often assigned to different branches as stewards—to be honest, they couldn’t even compare to Cheka as an inspector, stepping out forcefully would only be self-humiliation.

Then…

After a mont of silence, Long i’er, who was listening in the corner, spoke up: “Let do it.”

Cheka abruptly turned his head, looked at Long i’er, and exclaid in surprise, “Supervisor, are you really going to take action yourself?”

“I brought him to Pompeii, and if he is dood not to obey, then I’ll personally deal with him, for a sense of closure. Although it’s hard to bear, I certainly won’t hold back,” Long i’er said, starting to speak about his plan, “Given that even if I personally take action, I can’t guarantee to subdue him in one encounter, so so assistance is still needed. Tomorrow morning, you all…”

Half an hour later.

The judgent eting ended, and the wizards present left the eting room, silently going off to make preparations.

Long i’er was the last to leave the eting room. He paused slightly at the door, glanced back at the seat he had once occupied, and his eyes suddenly narrowed, sensing that there seed to be an invisible person standing nearby.

An illusion… or perhaps so sort of spell surveillance… Long i’er’s eyebrows slowly raised, and one hand followed up, quickly gathering a mass of gray energy.

But just before launching an attack, Long i’er’s movent stopped, sensing that the guardian magic he had cast was montarily triggered. The information ca through, letting him know that an outside bird had crashed into the range of the guardian magic.

The bird had no energy response on it, so it should not be a demonized creature, nor was it likely transford by a wizard using transformation magic, which was nothing to worry about… Long i’er breathed a sigh of relief in his heart, looked again at the place he once sat, and found that the inexplicable feeling just now had vanished.

Was it really an illusion? At least, if it were spell surveillance, there should be a slight fluctuation of mana.

Standing there thinking for a while, Long i’er shook his head lightly and walked out.

Pompeii Town, No.1248 Residence.

Richard leaned against a wooden chair, opened his eyes, and stood up from the chair.

He paced a few steps on the floor, frowned, and said, “So, the situation is worse than I thought. In that case, Plan Three can’t be used, and I have to execute Plan Four. Actually, Plan Four is also not suitable; if the contents of the eting that were overheard are strictly executed, there is almost no possibility of resolving this peacefully, facing direct confrontation is the only option. Then, nuclear weapons must be used.

However, exactly how to use them is a big problem. The other wizards can be temporarily disregarded, the key is how to deal with Supervisor Long i’er. I am well aware of Long i’er’s strength, and even with the full force of the Destructive Gloves, it only injures him. According to him, his body has been baptized with True God’s power, extrely strong, not only reducing or immunizing against various injuries but also possessing terrifying recovery and regeneration abilities. Unless his entire body is destroyed in an instant, even if a small part is left, he can return to normal.

Theoretically, the ultrahigh temperature at the center of a nuclear explosion can achieve instantly incinerating his entire body, ensuring not a single cell remains.

But the key lies in how to ensure he is at the center of the nuclear explosion.

His movent speed is extrely fast, and his perception is strong enough that if he senses danger before the explosion, he could escape the core area with full force, and though he would still be hard in the nuclear explosion, it wouldn’t be lethal. At that point, I would be the one left in a difficult position.

So, to ensure that he is a hundred percent at the core area at the mont of the nuclear explosion, unable to escape, a plan must be devised.

A new plan is needed—a Plan Five.

Richard took a deep breath, walked to a table in the hall, took out a piece of papyrus, and began writing on it.

He wrote one key word after another that others could not understand: range, ti, distance, constraint, explosive power…

After a dozen minutes, the papyrus was full of characters. Richard glanced over it and had a comprehensive plan in mind, then crumpled the papyrus into a ball and burned it with magic.

Without any unnecessary words, he set up several simple guardian spells in the hall, walked into the bedroom, and followed a secret door into an excavated underground passage.

He walked to the end of the underground passage, arriving at the underground space where chanical equipnt and Eden were once placed.

Currently, the chanical equipnt that absorbed energy from the volcano’s core had been placed inside Eden by him, making the place look a bit empty.

He walked among it, constantly gauging the space’s height, width, and depth with his eyes, as data rapidly processed in his brain.

A few minutes later, having confird sothing, he took Eden out from the space iron ring, placed it on the ground, and walked inside.
