Capítulo 1004: Chapter 1002: The Surprise of the Sub-Nuclear Bomb

Long i’er noticed that after the fragnts hit the ground, the surrounding air fluctuated, raising a lot of dust, like it was impacted by the debris.

Before he could figure out what was going on, another miniature Magic Tracking Missile flew over and exploded with a “bang”.

Hundreds of fragnts flew out again, causing the surrounding air to fluctuate violently, and the dust grew more plentiful.

Long i’er took a shallow breath, furrowed his brows, and felt that the components of the air seed to have changed mysteriously. He couldn’t put his finger on what exactly had changed; it didn’t seem like toxins, nor was it the turbulence caused by too much dust, but it made him sowhat uncomfortable.

With a thought, he forcefully expelled the air he had inhaled, sealing his nostrils along with all his pores, and began circulating mana within to sustain his physiological functions.

He then stepped forward to leave the original spot.

At this mont, the third vermilion miniature Magic Tracking Missile flew in with conspicuous whistling. At two hundred ters away, it exploded fiercely, spewing countless fragnts, each imbued with flas like a miniature teor shower, descending upon Long i’er’s location and falling into the surrounding air.

“Boom!”

A deep roar echoed out, as if a giant hamr had pounded the ground heavily, and in a flash, an enormous fireball with a diater of more than twenty ters appeared on the ground, enveloping Long i’er.

A strong shockwave spread around, the fireball following suit, propagating along the ground’s surface like a halo. The upper half of the fireball slowly deford, rising like a hot air balloon, mingling with the lifted dust and the smoke from burning flora, forming a mini mushroom cloud.

This was the surprise Richard had prepared for Long i’er—simulating the effect of a Cloud Bomb, or rather a Thermo Bomb, using three miniature Magic Tracking Missiles: the first and second did no harm, only releasing combustible gases, propellant gases, and combustible solid tal and non-tal particles, creating a highly flammable high-risk zone around Long i’er’s body.

When the third miniature Magic Tracking Missile arrived, the combined effect of the three was fully unleashed.

The blazing fragnts from the third missile ignited the high-risk zone, causing the combustibles in the area to spread at a speed of two thousand ters per second, creating a high-temperature, high-pressure fireball of several thousand degrees Celsius, and utilizing imnse thermal, pressure effects, and explosive product scour effects to inflict terrifying damage.

Because this damage far exceeds similar explosions, the Thermo Bomb is also called an “almost nuclear bomb”.

However, even though it was an “almost nuclear bomb,” Long i’er was unhard.

The flas were still spreading when a thin line suddenly erged from within, splitting the flas in half, with Long i’er stepping out from the heart of the flas along the line. His body was covered by a thin, earthy yellow energy mbrane, protecting him from any harm, although his brows furrowed slightly as he glanced at the sleeve of his garnt to find a pinhole-sized black spot—scorched by a fragnt in the explosion.

“This attack is quite interesting.” Long i’er said expressionlessly, walking while gazing in the direction of the sun, his lips pursed, “But that’s all there is to it. Compared to this attack, I’m rather curious about how far you’ve hidden away, Wizard Richard.”

Long i’er looked up at the sky, furrowing his brows tightly. His perception told him that Richard was in that direction, using sunlight to evade his lock-on. It was a clever choice, yet just an insignificant trick. In the face of absolute power disparity, it wouldn’t affect anything. If he wanted to find him, he certainly could.

Thinking so, Long i’er reached the edge of the fire zone, about to exit, when he suddenly saw the sun flicker and brighten up a few notches.

Did the sun get brighter?

No, it wasn’t the sun that brightened, but an attack was coming from that direction, likely a light beam energy attack.

Long i’er reacted swiftly, raising his hand to prepare for defense. His hand barely lifted when a nearly ter-wide energy light beam blasted before him, harshly pounding on the earthy yellow mbrane on his body surface.

“Boom!”

In an instant, an area of several tens of ters was taken over by chaotic energy, whipped up by a violent energy whirlwind.

This was Richard’s true attack thod; the previous Thermo Bomb was ant to surprise Long i’er, and rely that, without any real intent to injure him. The Thermo Bomb’s actual purpose was to create a large-scale fire zone, forcing Long i’er to maintain defense through magical ans.

With this setup, Richard could lock onto Long i’er’s position with relative precision by energy reaction from a significant distance, ensuring his long-prepared Light Elent Attack Magic could successfully hit Long i’er.

The Light Elent Attack Magic was nad “Morris Purification Light,” possessing trendous attacking power, yet its drawbacks were as pronounced as its strengths—it required long preparation ti, couldn’t flexibly adjust its direction, and if misused, could not only fail to injure the enemy but also expose oneself, leading to a dilemma.

Therefore, the ticulous preparation for this attack.

However, it still failed to injure Long i’er.

In the energy beam’s bombardnt, Long i’er remained standing, unyielding, the earthy yellow energy mbrane on his body trembling but refusing to shatter, holding firm until the light beam dissipated.

Ten seconds later, the light beam vanished, surrounded by chaotic energy, the ground charred black, and the central part even bore crystallization marks.

“This attack is quite good. If it had lasted a bit longer, it might have really wounded , but the ti was still sowhat short.” Long i’er remarked, looking around and then raising his head to gaze at the sun, speaking, “That’s enough for now. Now, it’s my turn, Wizard Richard, please prepare yourself; I want to see where exactly you’re hiding.”

“Bang!”

Long i’er stomped on the ground, soaring into the air, turning into a golden light, leaping up into the high cloud layers, speeding towards the direction of the sun.

Four thousand ters, five thousand ters, six thousand ters…

He soared directly to seven thousand ters, still unable to find Richard’s figure, only sensing that Richard was just ahead. Long i’er’s brow furrowed again, suspecting that his senses might have been interfered with.

Suspicious yet continuing forward.

Eight thousand ters, nine thousand ters, ten thousand ters!

Upon reaching ten thousand ters, Long i’er was about to change direction for searching, when he suddenly looked up ahead, his eyes bursting with dazzling golden light, and his lips curled upward.

“Ah, I see you, Wizard Richard!”

“You hid quite far, still eight thousand ters away from , but it ends here!”

With that, Long i’er’s whole speed surged, almost turning into a teor, rushing through patches of white clouds with a howl forward.
