The one speaking was still that young Exorcist, his face displaying unease, clearly worried about the situation.
At the sa ti, he was also concerned about the punishnt the Church might te out due to their negligence.
Du Wei said blandly, “I have already contacted the Church, they will send soone specifically responsible for this matter over, but until then, you need to properly defend Massas City.”
“Us? What about you?”
Du Wei replied, “I’m going to search for those in the Veda Sect who are lurking in the shadows, but before I leave, there is sothing I want you to do.”

Included among them was Alvin Dowqui, who had t Du Wei once and asked him to convey to Dusk Bell that his death was imminent.

The Church also began searching for mbers of the Veda Sect in their stronghold cities, acting together with officials.
This was a modern-day assassination taking place beneath the cloak of night.

A few days ago, Minella waited for a group of Cultists to join her, and they also received the latest orders from the Veda Sect.
Their god, whom they worshipped, had finally responded, and was now at the European headquarters.
Yet their god wanted them to start on Massas City, to release the Strangeness within it.
That’s what led to the current situation.
“Be careful everyone, it seems the Church has discovered our arrangents, they might have realized the existence of those bodies,” Minella stood on the second floor of an abandoned house outside Massas City, looking at the specks of light at the edge of the distant birch forest.
Her intuition told her that those were the lights of the Church folks using flashlights to probe the secrets within the birch forest.
“They must have uncovered our plan and will soon co searching for us. There’s no ti to delay, imdiately notify everyone to get ready to enter the pre-dug underground tunnel.”
“We’re entering Massas City,” Minella turned her head and began instructing her subordinates.
