Du Wei was his best friend, and they always worked "closely" together.
Of course, if collecting bodies counted as working together...
But that wasn't important, Tom was grateful to have such a reliable and capable best friend.
Now whenever he thought of Evil Spirits, Tom imdiately thought of Du Wei.
In his eyes, there wasn't an Evil Spirit that Du Wei couldn't handle.
This was a real pillar of support.
Father Tony was different, though. He was a priest of the church, also in charge of logistics, but in reality, he played an interdiary role.
They weren't very familiar with each other, but Tom once ca across an Eastern saying on the internet that went sothing like, n beco the most reliable brothers once they've visited prostitutes together.
If he could turn Father Tony into this kind of brother, he would definitely be the safest person in New York, without a doubt!
The more Tom thought about it, the more he felt the idea was feasible, and he couldn't help but let out a sleazy laugh.
Du Wei, who was driving, frowned and glanced at him, asking, "What are you thinking about?"
Tom instinctively replied, "I was thinking of taking Father Tony to the Red Light District to hook up!"
After speaking, his face reddened as he quickly added, "No, no, no! What I an is, he's of such an age, and he spends every day in the church serving the Lord; it must be very hard for him. In the na of the Lord, I think he should enrich his spiritual life."
Du Wei's eyelids twitched as he looked at Tom with incredulous eyes.

Tom said boastfully, "Don't worry! I never do anything unprepared."
Du Wei couldn't help but shake his head, "Let's change the subject, tell about the hospital."
Tom quickly beca serious, "It's like this, the hospital is called Maria Maternity Hospital. Over twenty years ago, it was very famous in Esselgreen. Many pregnant won would go there for delivery or to prepare for pregnancy. But later on, a huge fire turned the entire hospital into ruins, and many newborns and dical staff died inside."

Du Wei thought for a mont and calmly said, "So you suspect that Joanna was born in that hospital, and the fire was connected to the Veda Sect?"
Tom said, "Yes, I believe the Veda Sect is using this thod to select suitable babies to create Evil Spirits."
Du Wei said gravely, "Can you find out exactly how many babies died in that fire?"
Tom considered and said, "There were 28, but I'm currently trying to ascertain whether those 28 have changed their identities and integrated into society."
This could be investigated through the records of population information.
Du Wei naturally knew this as well, so he asked again, "Now that others are in charge of the Veda Sect matter, you can share your investigative information with Father Tony."
Tom agreed, "That's a good reason. I'll ask him out to the Red Light District tonight and say I have so secret matters regarding the Veda Sect to discuss with him. He definitely won't refuse."

Stretched isolation tape was shaken by the rain.
After parking the car, Du Wei got out with Tom.
With Du Wei around, Tom wasn't so afraid anymore.
At this mont, Du Wei noticed a few makeshift houses at the entrance of the amusent park and that there seed to be people living inside.
So, he asked out of curiosity, "Did you arrange for soone to be here?"
Tom shrugged and said, "The police from the Orlando Area arranged it, but now that I've been promoted, they're under my command."
He added, "After we sealed off the Horror House, we originally planned to shut down the amusent park too, but that damned park manager was adamantly against it. So I notified the higher-ups and imdiately had the whole park closed under the pretext of the manager evading taxes."
"It might sound unreasonable, but there was no other way. After all, so people can't keep their mouths shut and easily spread panic."
As he spoke, he walked to the entrance of the prefabricated house with an umbrella, followed by Du Wei.
Almost imdiately, related personnel erged from inside.
"Has anyone co in these past two days?"
"Chief, no one has co in. We have people around the amusent park, not even a stray dog can get in."
Tom nodded in satisfaction, turned to look at Du Wei, and said, "Hey, did you hear that? This place is absolutely safe."
Du Wei made an acknowledging sound but straightaway entered the Spirit Vision state and glanced over the entire amusent park.
The atmosphere was a bit oppressive... but not very obvious.
Above, the sky looked even grimr, a gray expanse as if shrouded in haze.
"It looks like nothing will happen for now. I'll deal with the Horror House after I get back from Yard City and see if we can solve its problems."
Du Wei thought to himself.
He arranged to deal with the Horror House before confronting the Evil Spirit Du Wei.
Of course, if right after returning from Yard City, Father Tony has information about the evil spirit related to the mirror, Du Wei would not hesitate to switch his target.
After all, to him, the Evil Spirit Du Wei is currently the greatest crisis.
It's more terrifying than any other evil spirit.
Even the nun's curse would have a phase of gradual accumulation before erupting, but the Evil Spirit Du Wei would not hesitate at all given the chance.
Once it acts, it's always with absolute confidence of success.
Just like Du Wei, neither of them would do anything without certainty.
Thinking this,
Du Wei turned his head to Officer Tom and said, "I need to go in and take a look. Are you coming with ?"
Tom hesitated for a mont, "Although I'd rather stay outside, I can't really let you go in alone."
As he spoke, he shrugged his shoulders, feigning calmness as he followed behind Du Wei, one hand tucked into his pocket, pulling out half a bottle of Holy Water.
The last ti he had used it to wash himself had not exhausted the supply; he had been carrying the remaining Holy Water with him ever since.
Seeing this, Du Wei didn't say much, simply holding an umbrella and silently crossing the barrier, heading into the amusent park.
Looking ahead,
The whole amusent park seed even more desolate in the rain, with only Du Wei walking in the rain and the shivering Tom. No other living being was present.
The place was desolate and oppressive.
The large raindrops hit the ground, accumulated together, forming shallow puddles.
What was reflected in the puddles was an exaggerated ghost-face relief and the building behind it.
Tom accidentally stepped into a puddle and imdiately cursed, "fuck! My pants are wet!"
Du Wei, however, paid no attention to him, frowning tightly and staring intently at the Horror House in front of him.
In the Spirit Vision state,
The entire Horror House exuded a strong, gloomy sense of oppression, inexplicably making one's skin crawl.
It was as if standing alone in a graveyard, feeling that uncomfortable and irrefutable aversion.
In fact, this Horror House was not much different from a graveyard.
The number of people who had died inside was also quite substantial.
But suddenly, Du Wei furrowed his brow.
