Mu Yuanxiu carried the fish and followed along.

But he was stopped by Li Xing’an, the third brother, "Brother Mu, I don’t rember the way to the village chief’s house. Can you walk there? I’m going to return the wheelbarrow."

Mu Yuanxiu glanced at him, frowned slightly, and said, "Follow ."

"Thanks a lot." Li Xing’an chuckled.

Mu Yuanxiu handed the two large carp he had to Second Lady Li, "Aunt, one for your family, and take the other to the elder aunt’s house." He then gave his fishing rod to one of Second Lady Liu’s children, "Jinbao, help keep an eye on my fishing rod."

"Don’t worry, Yuanxiu." The child took the fishing rod and went ho.

"You always bring sothing back every ti you co down from the mountain. There was so much leopard at, and we haven’t even finished it yet. Why bring fish again?" Second Lady Liu said, feeling embarrassed.

Liu the bricklayer also said, "Yes, you should keep it for yourself."

"I live alone, and I can’t eat that much." Mu Yuanxiu smiled faintly.

Li Xing’an listened to their conversation, raising his eyebrows frequently.

After leaving the Liu Family, Li Xing’an glanced at Mu Yuanxiu, smiled, and said, "Brother Mu, you seem pretty generous, always giving things to others?"

Or maybe he shouldn’t keep track of that rabbit eaten by the family?

But he couldn’t even catch a rabbit!

Mu Yuanxiu’s eyes were deep, "To those who have shown kindness, I am naturally generous."

Li Xing’an, "..." What does this an? Is he saying that their Li Family hasn’t done him any favors, so that rabbit must be returned?

Li Xing’an took a deep breath and gritted his teeth, deciding to repay it. Owing a favor feels uncomfortable too.

.

At the Liu Family’s main house, Lady Liu’s second daughter led Li Yuzhu and the others into the main room.

From the east bedroom, there ca the sound of several people talking, and the quiet sobbing of a young woman.

The Second Young Master Li was a man, so it wasn’t appropriate for him to enter. Li Yuzhu had him wait outside.

She and Liu Er Niu lifted the curtain and entered the bedroom.

The young woman crying softly, sitting at the bedside, looked very much like Lady Liu. She should be Liu Laoda’s eldest daughter.

Liu Laoda sat on a chair by the bed, silent.

In the room was a middle-aged man who seed to be a doctor, and an elderly woman.

The middle-aged doctor was performing acupuncture on the comatose Lady Liu.

These two were likely Doctor Qi, the village doctor Liu the bricklayer had ntioned, and Jiang Wupo, who specialized in treating won’s illnesses in the village.

Liu Er Niu stepped forward, calling to her father, "Dad, Grandpa asked to bring Miss Li to see Mother."

"Miss Li has co just in ti, quickly see how Er Niu’s mother is doing." Liu Laoda nodded towards Li Yuzhu.

Li Yuzhu, however, smiled gently and did not step forward, "I am young, how dare I show off my skills in front of two dical elders? I am here to learn."

While these two village doctors were treating people, she should avoid stealing the spotlight and taking away their jobs.

Being a newcor, a foreign girl with shallow roots in the village, it’s better to keep a low profile.

Her words made Liu Laoda very disappointed.

But Doctor Qi and Jiang Wupo were quite pleased.

Neither took a second look at her, with one only raising his eyelids slightly.

In fact, Li Yuzhu didn’t rush to check on Lady Liu for another main reason: Lady Liu’s condition wasn’t that serious.

She had only fainted from low blood sugar.

Li Yuzhu whispered to Liu Er Niu to "fetch a bowl of warm sugar water" and then stood aside silently.

She intended to listen to what the two village doctors had to say.

"It’s just a case of hemorrhage in won, so dicine and a few days of rest will be fine," Jiang Wupo said.
