Li Jing flipped through the picture book chaotically.

Flipping left one mont, right the next, he almost tore the pages.

After a while, he turned it upside down to look at it.

The Princely Heir corrected him, but he couldn’t stay calm for even a mont and started flipping randomly again.

Guoguo was much quieter.

She turned each page after carefully looking at it. When she ca to a page showing a mother sheep cuddling with her lamb, she stopped and stared at the image for a long ti.

Suddenly, she burst into tears, wailing aloud.

Ever since leaving the Prince Mansion, she hasn’t cried.

Even when Xue Family pinched her in anger to vent, she only scread in protest but did not cry.

But today, she was truly heartbroken in her tears.

Tears covered her face, and she sobbed so hard she could hardly catch her breath.

Everyone was startled.

Princess Consort Luling held her to comfort her, but no matter what, she couldn’t console her.

The Princely Heir was extrely anxious, "Guoguo? What’s wrong?"

Li Yuzhu worriedly checked if she was suddenly unwell, quickly feeling her forehead, checking her mouth, touching her little belly, and hurriedly activating the space CT machine for an examination.

But, no abnormalities were found.

She kept crying.

"Sheep!" she scread, slapping the picture of the mother sheep on the book.

Li Yuzhu took her small hand and asked, "Guoguo, do you want to see the mother sheep? The mother sheep is perfectly fine, maybe sleeping right now."

Guoguo stopped crying, looked at her, and sobbed, "Sheep, sheep."

Princess Consort Luling sighed, "Can’t this child just talk properly? Crying like this almost scared to death."

The Princely Heir reached out to hold Guoguo, "Alright, let’s go see the sheep."

Princess Consort Luling said, "I want to see too. How did she suddenly cry out for the sheep?"

Li Yuzhu pulled Li Jing, and everyone went to the place where the sheep were kept.

The sheep pen and a few wild chickens, along with a few chick chicks Li Yuzhu had bought, were all kept at the back door of the mansion.

She had her brothers build two small sheds.

One housed the sheep, and the other housed the wild chickens and chicks.

The sheep pen was spacious and clean, with the sheep standing by a pile of hay, leisurely chewing the grass.

"Sheep, sheep—" Guoguo happily called out when she saw the sheep.

She made weird gurgling noises from her mouth.

The sheep seed to understand her call, stopped eating the grass, walked to the door, raised its head, and "baa-ed" at her.

Guoguo grinned widely.

"Baa—" the mother sheep called out again.

Guoguo stretched her hand to touch the mother’s sheep’s head.

"Baa—" the mother sheep squinted its eyes and let out another call.

"This child is really sothing; suddenly crying just to see the sheep?" Princess Consort Luling pinched her small hand, "Guoguo, don’t cry; let’s co to see the sheep every day, alright? Just don’t cry."

Guoguo stretched her arms towards Princess Consort Luling and lunged into her embrace.

Princess Consort Luling laughed, "That’s better, alright, alright, I’ll hold you."

"I want a cuddle too," Li Jing also stretched his arms towards Princess Consort Luling, whining a bit.

Princess Consort Luling looked troubled, "How can I hold you? Granny is holding your sister now; I can’t hold you too."

"Brother, hug," Guoguo turned around, stretching her arms downwards.

Princess Consort Luling had no choice but to squat down, letting Guoguo embrace Li Jing.

Guoguo’s little hands clung to her brother’s neck, and she imdiately giggled with laughter.

Li Yuzhu smiled and said, "Look at them, how good their relationship is."

"Brother." Guoguo, after hugging for a while, let go of Li Jing and lightly patted his little head, giggling, "Brother."

Li Jing was bewildered, staring at her blankly.

Li Yuzhu laughed, "Jingjing, be good. Guoguo said that Granny is holding her, so she can’t hold you too. But, she wants to hug you, though she can’t hold you."

Guoguo giggled again and called "Brother."

The Princely Heir patted Li Jing’s shoulder, "Jingjing is a big brother, a man. How can you still want Granny’s hug? Even Father doesn’t let Granny hold him, how can you let Granny hold you?"

The Princely Heir looked at his son with a serious face.

Li Jing looked up at the Princely Heir, nodded with blinking eyes, "Hmm, Father doesn’t let Granny hold him, so I won’t let Granny hold either."

"That’s a good boy." The Princely Heir patted his son’s head.

Li Guoguo stopped causing trouble, and everyone returned to the main house in the North Courtyard.

The Princely Heir played with Li Jing for a while, then went out.

The Second Young Master and Li Xing’an were busy outside the house in the wasteland; he went to check the situation there.

Li Yuzhu didn’t go out and stayed with Guoguo to play.

No matter where the Princess Consort Luling took Guoguo, or where she placed her to sit, her hands would not let go of that picture album.

She would flip through it repeatedly.

Occasionally, she would utter a strange sound from her mouth.

"Uh, ying." She looked at the album, muttering "Uh ying, uh ying uh ying."

Uh, ying, E Ying?

Chai Eying?

Li Yuzhu turned her head to look at Li Guoguo.

Could it really be such a coincidence?

She couldn’t help laughing; she must be overthinking it.

.

Mu Yuanxiu typically doesn’t speak much, but when it cos to disciplining people, he can be terrifying.

He dealt with the scoundrel Short Legs Zhao, who dared to harass Liu Da Niu, making him utterly obedient.

Every day, when to co to cut grass, when to leave to eat, when to return, and when to go ho at night, Short Legs Zhao strictly followed these commands.

Half a month later, the wild grass around the twenty-so mu of land surrounding Li Mansion was all cut down.

Short Legs Zhao, having braved wind and rain for half a month, beca foolish-looking, as docile as a grandson when he saw Mu Yuanxiu.

"Mu... Mu Yuanxiu, I’ve finished cutting; can you let go ho now?"

Mu Yuanxiu had already checked and nodded, saying, "You might barely be allowed to go."

Short Legs Zhao started crying, "Brother Mu, I still have a ninety-year-old mother to support at ho, and a half-month-old child to feed. You can’t keep here every day!"

Mu Yuanxiu sneered coldly, "Your mother died fifteen years ago, and you don’t even have a wife, where would a half-month-old child co from?"

Short Legs Zhao, "..."

Mu Yuanxiu shook the wooden stick in his hand and gestured toward Qingshui River Village, "Alright, get lost, next ti if you dare co near here or harass respectable won again, I won’t just make you cut grass, I’ll wipe you out!"

His tone was as icy as frost.

Having witnessed his skill, Short Legs Zhao trembled in fear, "No... no, I wouldn’t dare."

"Get lost."

"Yes, yes, yes." Short Legs Zhao hurriedly fled in fear.

.

That day, in the afternoon, Li Yuzhu was in the kitchen watching the Second Princess make pancakes when Liu Da Niu arrived.

Seeing Li Yuzhu, she imdiately put on a distressed look and said, "I don’t know what’s wrong; I’ve been feeling unwell these past few days, I throw up every ti I eat sothing."

Looking at her pale little face, Li Yuzhu suspected sothing.

She comforted Liu Da Niu, "You seem to be in good spirits, it shouldn’t be anything serious, why don’t you sit down and let check on you."

Liu Da Niu sat down on a small stool in the kitchen.

Li Yuzhu sat across from her, taking her pulse.

The pulse had a slight anomaly.

Li Yuzhu felt delighted, as she expected, Liu Da Niu was pregnant.

To confirm more accurately, Li Yuzhu didn’t reveal the truth imdiately, but instead said, "Let check your blood."

She took a syringe from her space.

Liu Da Niu blinked her eyes, looking at the strange transparent tube with a needle, "What is this?"

"To see if you have any major illness." Li Yuzhu said with a smile, "I need a tiny bit of your blood, it won’t hurt much, just as small as a bean."

Liu Da Niu nodded trustingly, "Alright then."

Following Li Yuzhu’s instructions, she rolled up her sleeve, extended her arm, and closed her eyes.

Li Yuzhu quickly drew a small amount of blood.

Then, she imdiately placed it into her space, letting the equipnt automatically detect it.

Her space was fully automated, and processed data quickly.

Monts later, the space relayed the data indicating Liu Da Niu was two weeks pregnant.

"Da Niu." Li Yuzhu said with a smile, "You can open your eyes now."

Liu Da Niu opened her eyes, glanced at the spot where her arm had hurt, and blinked at Li Yuzhu, "Miss Li, what’s wrong with ?"

Li Yuzhu smiled at her, "You’re not sick; you’re going to have a baby."

Liu Da Niu, in disbelief, looked at Li Yuzhu, "I... I... I’m going to have a baby? How... how is that possible?" She touched her flat stomach, not believing, "Where? How co I haven’t noticed?"

Li Yuzhu laughed and said, "The baby is not yet a month old; of course, you haven’t felt it. Besides, babies co quietly. You won’t notice his presence until at least three months when the stomach starts to swell a bit. Then by over four months, you’ll feel his presence as he moves inside. Finally, you’ll see him when he’s born after nine and a half months."

The Second Princess overheard their conversation and, without washing her face, cheerfully ran over to touch Liu Da Niu’s belly, "Oh, you have a baby in your tummy?"

Liu Da Niu blushed, "The baby ca too suddenly, I... I can hardly believe it."

Li Yuzhu chuckled, "Sudden vomiting is one of the signs of pregnancy; it’s ti for you to pay attention to it."
