Just as the car turned away, Gu Qianxi, sitting in the driver’s seat, glanced at the rear-view mirror and saw Gong Ze talking to Tong Keke. His strikingly handso face darkened instantly.
Though Gong Ze was still a teenager, Gu Qianxi could keenly sense his feelings for Tong Keke.
At this mont, watching the two of them standing at the school gate, looking so well-matched, Gu Qianxi couldn’t help but feel an ache of loss in his heart.

"No!" Tong Keke responded, grinding her teeth, "Gong Ze, listen carefully. Stop wasting your ti on . I will never fall for an arrogant and egotistical guy like you! Don’t think just because you’re the school’s heartthrob that everyone must worship you. They like you only because your family is rich. You’re the heir of the Gong Family, isn’t it?"
Tong Keke’s biting words left Gong Ze’s expression awkwardly stiff.
Tong Keke let out a mocking laugh: "Who doesn’t like rich n? Too bad, I don’t need money!"
Gong Ze’s flawless face suddenly turned pale. He grabbed Tong Keke’s wrist fiercely: "You don’t have to like , or my money, but I like you, Tong Keke. I *will* make you my girlfriend."
"*Will*?" Tong Keke turned her face, giving him a look of utter disdain: "Gong Ze, if you don’t let go of right now, I’ll call security."
Gong Ze bit his lip, but eventually released her hand.
Watching the way Tong Keke had just been smiling so sweetly at Gu Qianxi contrasted with her ice-cold attitude toward him now, Gong Ze was indescribably enraged.
No matter how hard he worked to win over this girl, why wouldn’t she smile at him, even once?
What was so special about Gu Qianxi that Tong Keke liked him? He was much older than her, and he was Tong Keke’s legal guardian. If the two of them ended up sparking so romance, wouldn’t the world laugh at them?

Han Yan ignored all the people attempting to stop her and strode directly into his office.
The two assistants standing outside Gu Qianxi’s office apologetically said, "Director, we’re sorry, this lady..."
"It’s fine. You can leave." Gu Qianxi understood Han Yan’s current fury and didn’t give the two assistants a hard ti.
Once the door closed, Han Yan’s voice sharpened as she accused him: "Gu Qianxi, can you at least have a shred of decency? How dare you lay your hands on my young daughter?"
Hearing Han Yan’s accusation, Gu Qianxi’s brows furrowed deeply: "Mrs. Han, mind your words. When did I ever lay a hand on your daughter?"
"Isn’t it true? Didn’t the two of you go ho together yesterday? You even spent the night under the sa roof..."
Gu Qianxi’s face turned abruptly dark, his anger evident: "You were having followed?"
Han Yan, however, spoke with righteous conviction: "That’s right. I must protect my daughter!"
