But Yan Ting actually had soone search her room. This really broke her heart.
"Let go, I’m tired. I want to go back and rest." Banxia didn’t want to face him at this mont; she needed so ti alone to calm down.
"I’ll take you back. You’re not in the right state to drive now!" Yan Ting heard her insist on leaving. He didn’t force her to stay but couldn’t let her drive ho alone.
"I’m fine!" Banxia said stubbornly.
"Banxia, I promise you, from now on, I won’t pry into anything about you, okay? Don’t leave. Tonight, I just want to be with you." Yan Ting had rushed back to the country two days early, just to see her sooner.
Now that he was finally with her, how could he bear to let her leave?
Banxia’s beautiful eyes froze for a mont, and her tears stopped instantly. She turned around, her eyes still glistening with tears, and looked at him, "You really won’t pry anymore?"
"As long as you tell yourself, honestly, that your intentions aren’t to leave !" Yan Ting’s voice carried a hint of hoarseness and hurt.
He was genuinely afraid she was planning to leave him without letting him into her heart. That thought left him deeply unsettled.
Banxia trembled slightly, then suddenly threw herself into his arms, hugging him tightly, tears streaming down her face like rain. "Yan Ting, I won’t leave you, and I don’t want to leave you!"
Looking at the little woman in his arms, crying like a child, Yan Ting pressed his thin lips tightly to her hair. "Alright, as long as you don’t leave, I won’t be curious about any of your secrets, no matter how many you have!"
Hearing his gentle promises, Banxia finally felt her heart begin to settle down.
Exhausted from crying, she straightened up out of his arms, wiped her tears with the back of her hand, and said, "Then you have to promise —you won’t let anyone go through my stuff again in the future!"
"I promise!"
"And you can’t press about things I don’t want to talk about."
Banxia, pushing her luck a little, said.
Yan Ting felt a little helpless but still affectionately stroked her rosy cheek. "Alright, I promise you, I won’t ask!"
"And you absolutely cannot get entangled with other won!"
"Banxia..."
"You’re not agreeing?" Banxia narrowed her beautiful eyes.
Seeing the traces of tears still clinging to the corners of her eyes, she looked like a little bandit at the mont. Yan Ting felt utterly defenseless against her; all he wanted was to coax this adorable troublemaker.
"I agree. Apart from you, I won’t get tangled up with other won."
Seeing that he had agreed to everything, Banxia finally nestled back into his arms again. "Yan Ting, let’s go to sleep. It’s really late!"
"Have you taken a shower?"
"Mhm, you go take one. I’ll lie down first!" Banxia was in the early stages of pregnancy, and it made her tired easily. At this mont, she was already very fatigued.
Yan Ting lowered his head and kissed her forehead. "Go rest. I’ll join you after a shower!"
Watching the little woman climb back into bed and lie down, Yan Ting secretly let out a sigh of relief.
Thinking of how determined she was just monts ago to leave, Yan Ting realized that going forward, he would always be at a disadvantage with her.
Banxia lay on her side in bed, her mind still a chaotic ss.
A mont ago had truly almost scared her into a panic attack. Yan Ting had actually found her diary.
It’s over. What on earth had she written in that diary?
At this ti, she genuinely hated how terrible her mory was!
No, tomorrow morning, she had to go back and check. What on earth had she written?
Did she write sothing embarrassing? Like admitting she’d fallen for him, or even saying she loved him? Silly things like that.
