The quiet night seed to grow mysterious and layered because of the tall, slender figure of the man.
Lin Banxia suddenly felt a trace of shyness. Her eyes, carrying both modesty and laughter, couldn’t help but land on the man’s face.
Yan Ting uttered a command to the driver, who drove the car around the garden and away.
At this mont, the vast and empty villa entrance was left with only the two of them, exchanging smiles.
Neither of them spoke, and Lin Banxia could only feel the man approaching her with steady steps before pulling her directly into his arms, holding her tightly.
The familiar embrace made Lin Banxia’s nerves relax; her whole body leaned softly into his solid chest.
"Did you miss ?" The man’s low voice tinged with laughter landed beside her ear.
Sensing the obedient and docile deanor of the woman in his arms, Yan Ting felt imnsely comforted.
"I did!" Lin Banxia shyly nodded her head.
"I missed you too!" Yan Ting spoke wholeheartedly, then slightly leaned down to scoop up her delicate body horizontally in his arms.
Lin Banxia let out a soft cry, and imdiately, feeling the strength of the arms holding her, she suddenly felt much more at ease.
"Your grandmother called today, asking to et. I refused. She’s probably going to be upset with again, isn’t she?"
Yan Ting kissed her lightly on the forehead as he saw the worry written all over her face: "It’s okay. At least I’ve convinced my grandmother to visit the Chu Family to break off the engagent!"
"Really?" Lin Banxia widened her eyes in disbelief. "Your grandmother agreed to help you break off the engagent?"
"Yes. My grandmother certainly doesn’t want to marry Chu Tingting anymore!" Yan Ting nodded.
Lin Banxia couldn’t help but smile as her lips curled upward, her small face pressed against his chest. "Even if your grandmother breaks off the engagent, I’m afraid she still won’t accept ."
Entering the bedroom, Yan Ting gently placed her on the bed. His strong fra refrained from pressing down on her, instead propping himself up with both hands as he spoke in a low voice: "Don’t worry. You’re already carrying the Huo Family’s child. My grandmother will accept you for sure."
Only then did Lin Banxia recall the little life growing inside her. Her soft pink face instantly grew crimson.
"I thought it would take more ti before you could get pregnant. Judging by this timing, it must have been the last ti we were together that you conceived!" Yan Ting couldn’t hide his affection for her blushing cheeks.
Lin Banxia was so shy she wanted to bury her face in the blanket.
"Banxia, I must be with you. We’ll remarry soon. Then we’ll continue living here, leading our simple and comfortable life." His voice was gentle, and his lips couldn’t resist sealing a kiss on her delicate lips.
The man’s domineering lips and tongue invaded, leaving Lin Banxia helpless to resist. He had kissed her for quite so ti, causing her head to spin and feel dizzy.
"Yan Ting, you’ll treat the child well in the future, won’t you? You’ll be a good father, right?" Even with her head still spinning, Lin Banxia softly asked him. She wanted to hear his response directly.
Yan Ting looked at her with a puzzled expression: "Why ask sothing like that? Of course, I’ll cherish you and the child!"
"I an... in case... sothing happens to , would you find a stepmother for the child?" Lin Banxia blinked and couldn’t help but ask again.
"Banxia! Why would you say such inauspicious things?" Yan Ting’s face instantly darkened with anger, his handso features turning grim.
