Lin Banxia noticed Chu Tingting staring sharply at her. Her heart trembled briefly, but she quickly cald herself and asked, "Did you co here for sothing?"

Chu Tingting snapped out of her past thoughts and imdiately said, "I just wanted to ask you one more ti—did you go to M Country not because you were looking for Yan Ting?"

Lin Banxia hadn’t expected Chu Tingting to still cling to this matter. She frowned, "Where I go is my own freedom. I don’t need to report to you, do I?"

"If you’re going for leisure, I wouldn’t care, but if you’re going because of Yan Ting, then it’s of utmost importance to . Rember, he’s my fiancé now. Stop pestering him!" Chu Tingting’s feelings were complicated because she had seemingly confird that Lin Banxia was indeed her cousin. But her cousin was Yan Ting’s ex-wife—this relationship was utterly tangled.

Lin Banxia had also confird that Chu Tingting was her cousin, which made her emotions equally conflicted.

The two stood at the doorway, each carrying their own thoughts.

"Lin Banxia, did you hear what I said? Let remind you one last ti—not to approach Yan Ting anymore. I won’t hold grudges over whatever you were to each other in the past. But from now on, you must keep your distance from him. Do you understand?" Chu Tingting was no longer arrogant at this mont but seed more like she was pleading with Lin Banxia.

Lin Banxia looked at Chu Tingting in surprise, feeling that sothing wasn’t quite right.

But she couldn’t figure it out.

"Sorry, I need to go back and get so more sleep. You should leave," Lin Banxia didn’t want to argue with her over Huo Yanting.

Chu Tingting, however, extended her hand to prevent the door from closing, her expression tinged with a hint of ruthlessness. "Lin Banxia, you’d better take my words seriously, or you might face humiliation in the future."

"Chu Tingting, do you really think Huo Yanting loves you? Have you asked his opinion before arrogantly treating him as your private possession?" Lin Banxia raised an eyebrow, a note of dissatisfaction threading through her tone. Indeed, whether Chu Tingting was her cousin or not, she couldn’t tolerate her incessantly calling him ’her Yan Ting.’ It was utterly off-putting.

Chu Tingting was struck silent. Clearly, Lin Banxia’s words had hit a nerve.

"Even if he doesn’t love now, he will in the future. Lin Banxia, you’re his ex-wife, rejected by the elders of the Huo Family. You’ll never have another chance to step into the Huo Family again in this lifeti. You should give up already." Chu Tingting lashed out in anger, her tone growing increasingly cutting.

"Instead of coming here to threaten , why don’t you focus more on Huo Yanting? Whether I can marry into the Huo Family again is none of your business." Lin Banxia forcefully shut the door, leaning against it and gasping for breath to suppress her emotions.

Why did she have a bad feeling, as if Chu Tingting seed to know sothing?

Even though Chu Tingting had been issuing threats earlier, her tone was clearly not as aggressive as before.

Lin Banxia frowned deeply, hurried back to her room, turned on her computer, and imdiately deleted her post.

Chu Tingting, as if soulless, got into her car and looked up at the pear garden’s entrance with a resentful gaze.

She felt utterly hopeless. If Lin Banxia weren’t her cousin, she truly wanted to kill her out of spite.

But now, it seed like there was nothing she could do about her. Should she go to her aunt right now and reveal this truth?

Or should she hope her aunt would never find out that Lin Banxia was her daughter?

This way, Lin Banxia would lack a strong family background, and the Huo family elders wouldn’t possibly accept her.

Chu Tingting’s mind raced relentlessly, driving her almost to madness.
