No one knew how long he had been kissing her for, but Lin Banxia felt utterly drained of strength. All she could do was lean weakly against his chest, her hair disheveled and her beautiful eyes dazed.
"Why did you take a bath so early?" Yan Ting looked at her, completely flustered by his actions, and chuckled lowly with a hint of pride. Then he deliberately teased her with his question.
Lin Banxia froze for a mont and then, blushing furiously, replied with a small voice, "I just ca back from outside. I sweated all day, so of course I needed to take an early bath!"
"Did you have fun?" Yan Ting asked, and in one smooth motion, scooped her up horizontally. Carrying her to the sofa nearby, he sat down, placing her on his lap as if she were a child. His deep, shadowy eyes fixed unwaveringly on her flushed face.
Lin Banxia, never having been treated so tenderly by him before, was completely overwheld—her mind was blank, her breathing was uneven, and her pounding heart was like drums in chaos.
"Yes... very happy!" She lowered her little head, answering in a soft voice like a shy child.
"What would you like to do tomorrow? Tell Ms. Zhao, she’ll take you out. Whatever you want to eat, go ahead and eat, alright?" Yan Ting was spoiling her completely, to the point of absolute indulgence.
Lin Banxia had never been cared for so gently in all her life. At this mont, tears involuntarily gathered in her eyes.
Her beautiful gaze trembled as she looked up at the man’s deep eyes, which held a playful warmth.
"Why are you crying now?" Yan Ting’s body stiffened slightly. He was being kind to her, yet she was crying? She really was like a child.
Lin Banxia buried her face against his shoulder and rubbed against it gently. "Yan Ting, I’m an idiot. Why didn’t I choose you from the start? Maybe you’re the only one in this world who truly treats well."
Yan Ting didn’t quite understand what she was saying. "From the start"? What did she an by that?
Though she had once been involved with Huo Qinglin, that was only because he had been overseas and hadn’t realized Huo Qinglin got to her first. Fortunately, he managed to make up for that mistake—she ultimately belonged to him.
Lin Banxia was feeling emotional, thinking back to her previous life when he cornered her against the wall in a hotel, angrily calling her blind for ignoring the dignified heir of the Huo Family only to chase after so useless scum.

"Do you want to bathe with ?" Yan Ting asked with a mischievous smile.
"No way!" Just thinking about yesterday’s exhausting encounter in the bathroom had her heart still trembling. There was no way she’d agree!
Seeing her startled expression, Yan Ting burst out laughing, clearly in an excellent mood.

Could it be that he was deliberately teasing her yesterday? What a bad man!
