The soft, delicate figure in his arms finally cald down after a while. Gu Qianxi gently loosened his grip on her, but Tong Keke suddenly tiptoed up, her pink lips dampened by tears searching for the man’s resolute and thin lips.
Gu Qianxi’s entire body felt like it was electrified. His sturdy body trembled, and even his deep, obscure eyes widened slightly.
This little rascal is at it again...
"Uncle..." Tong Keke murmured his na as her lips brushed against his thin ones.
Gu Qianxi gently pushed her away slightly. "Keke, have you had dinner yet? Let make you sothing to eat."
"No..." Tong Keke shook her head. She didn’t want to eat anything right now; she just wanted to cling onto her uncle without letting go.
"If you don’t want to eat, then go upstairs and sleep. There’s school tomorrow morning." Gu Qianxi, understanding the pressure of high school, knew that even though Tong Keke’s grades were considered above average, he still worried she might underperform.
After all, her studies could partially impact her future, and he didn’t want to be the reason her future got derailed.
Tong Keke’s tear-streaked eyes glinted mischievously, and her soft voice rang out, "Uncle, can you make a bowl of noodles? Honestly, I haven’t eaten anything all day, and my stomach is about to flatten."
Gu Qianxi gave her a reprimanding look. "Why would you starve yourself? Isn’t eating your favorite activity?"
Tong Keke blinked her big eyes. "I was in a bad mood and couldn’t eat!"
Gu Qianxi knew she loved to make excuses. Although slightly annoyed, he efficiently headed into the kitchen.
Like a little tail, Tong Keke followed closely behind him, leaning against the kitchen doorway.
She watched as Gu Qianxi gently undid the buttons of his suit jacket. After taking it off, he casually tossed it toward her.
Tong Keke hurried to catch it, then buried her entire small face into his jacket, greedily inhaling twice.
Gu Qianxi turned his head to look at her flower-struck expression and couldn’t help but chuckle lightly. "What are you sniffing?"
"I’m sniffing Uncle’s scent!" Tong Keke answered honestly.
"What kind of hobby is that?" Gu Qianxi was utterly speechless.
Tong Keke giggled. "This is my favorite hobby! If you knew that I’ve also spied on you..."
"Tong Keke?" Gu Qianxi’s face instantly turned livid with shock, his handso features clouding over in intense anger.
Tong Keke, frightened, quickly dodged backward. "Uncle, you misunderstood! I didn’t spy on you in the shower, really... I swear to the heavens."
Gu Qianxi was utterly flustered, stepping forward with his long legs to grab the little rascal by her arm. "Tong Keke! How could you spy on while I bathe? Have you grown bold?"
Tong Keke looked at her uncle pitifully, her voice ek as she replied, "Uncle, I didn’t! Honestly! I only ever spied on you while you were changing clothes..."
"What’s the difference?" Gu Qianxi felt another jolt run through him, his voice growing harsher as he scolded her. "You’re learning all the wrong things! It seems that I’ve truly spoiled you too much."
"Of course there’s a difference! A huge difference! If you were showering, you wouldn’t be wearing anything. But when you were changing clothes, you—you were wearing shorts!" Tong Keke imdiately began explaining the difference with all seriousness.
Gu Qianxi’s handso face flushed deep red in an instant. Does this an, at so unknown mont, he had been completely exposed to this little rascal?
"Tong Keke, I’m warning you—don’t ever do it again, you hear ?" At this mont, Gu Qianxi really wanted to punish her. But upon realizing she wasn’t a little girl anymore, spanking her didn’t seem appropriate. He could only sternly warn her.
"Okay!" Tong Keke replied with a face full of contrition.
