The woman’s soft voice made the man tremble slightly.
The invitation in her tone was unmistakably clear.
"Your... person left?" When the man spoke, his voice had already grown husky.

"Whose call is that?" Lin Banxia, already consud by guilt, beca even more panicked and flustered.
"My grandfather’s," Yan Ting said. He knew just by the ringtone without even looking.
His handso face suddenly stiffened.
"Then hurry up and answer!" Lin Banxia urged him imdiately.
"I don’t want to." Looking at the disheveled woman beneath him, the man spoke in a low tone.
"He’s your grandfather; you should still answer," Lin Banxia swiftly adjusted her clothes.
The atmosphere was gone. With slight frustration, Yan Ting cursed under his breath, pulled out his phone, and answered.
"Where are you?" The old man’s stern voice ca through.
Yan Ting glanced at the woman, who had already stood up in the darkness, her gaze slightly flickering, and replied, "Outside."
"Co ho imdiately. I have sothing to ask you." The old man’s tone sounded angry.
"Alright, I’ll co back now." Hanging up, Yan Ting looked apologetically at her.
"I might have to make a trip back. I’ll co find you next ti. Rest early." The man spoke with so regret.
"Mm, you should go. If your grandfather’s looking for you, it must be important." Lin Banxia ignored her internal disappointnt and responded lightly.
Even though he didn’t want to leave, he worried his indulgence could bring her trouble.
Besides, he had a hunch about why his grandfather was looking for him.
Was it about those photographs?
That damn Huo Qinglin—he really went and stirred things up with Grandfather.
Lin Banxia watched him leave, a pang of disappointnt flashing in her heart.

The man’s deep gaze revealed a sharp edge.

The car entered the Huo Family Manor and stopped in front of the old man’s grand residence.
