At this mont, outside the door, under the dazzling crystal lights, a man and a woman walked slowly.
The man wore a black suit with a white dress shirt, a very formal business attire. His tall, 6-foot-2 fra made the girl beside him appear petite and delicate, a sight so visually pleasing it was hard to look away.
The man’s handso features were flawless, exuding a mature air tinged with nobility.
The woman beside him wore a fiery rose-red floor-length gown. The deep V and backless design highlighted her fair, slender figure without reservation. Her long hair was gathered over one side of her chest, alluring and graceful, an almost breathtaking beauty.
They were undeniably a perfect, heavenly match.
"Wow, is she the vice president’s daughter? Her deanor is so refined, and she’s incredibly gorgeous."
"She’s going to be the future young mistress of the Huo Family. Her husband is so handso, wealthy, and has such an amazing physique—she’s basically won at life!"
"Exactly, it’s too enviable."
The won were full of envious and jealous gazes, while the n stared, transfixed, at the fiery rose-like Chu Tingting.
Chu Tingting slightly tilted her chin, revealing a finely made-up, stunningly beautiful face, her eyes brimming with a charming smile.
With one delicate, fair hand, she symbolically held onto Huo Yanting’s strong arm as she gracefully walked into the hall.
Huo Yanting’s expression, however, remained as usual—cool and indifferent, reserved and distant.
Only when soone approached to greet him did he faintly display a sliver of polite courtesy.
From afar, through the crowd, Lin Banxia spotted Huo Yanting.
His tall fra naturally stood out among the crowd; it was almost impossible not to notice him. His brilliance was simply too dazzling.
The average-height n surrounding him seed like re backdrop in comparison.
Even though he hadn’t purposely dressed up today, his innate noble aura, paired with his naturally striking features, still made him stand out, unforgettable in every way.
Lin Banxia’s gaze shifted from him to Chu Tingting.
She had to admit that the Huo Family elders had excellent taste. Chu Tingting indeed carried the poise and deanor of a grande da.
Faced with the flattery from those around her, she handled it with ease, never faltering, her slight smile embodying both dignity and elegance.
Leng Weichen’s gaze also flickered between Huo Yanting and Chu Tingting before finally settling on Lin Banxia beside him with a hint of concern.
"If it hurts to watch, then don’t," Leng Weichen stood and took a glass of wine from a passing waiter, handing it to her.
In front of Leng Weichen, Lin Banxia’s attempts to conceal her inner sadness and disappointnt were utterly futile.
She chose not to argue any further. She took the wine, tipped her head back for a sip, but ended up choking on it.
She coughed lightly twice, then suddenly said to Leng Weichen, "I want to leave now. Will you take away?"
Leng Weichen was taken aback, surprised by how quickly she wanted to retreat. This was so unlike her usual self.
"You just arrived and already want to leave?" Leng Weichen chuckled lightly.
"I’ve seen everything I needed to see. Why should I stay here and let them ridicule further?" Lin Banxia’s heart was throbbing in pain at the mont.
"Co, let’s go say hello to them," Leng Weichen suddenly grabbed her hand, intending to lead her toward Huo Yanting.
"No... I won’t go!" Lin Banxia’s chest tightened with fear, and she imdiately said, "Don’t drag , I beg you!"
