Lin Banxia was a little flustered and helpless at this mont. She hadn’t expected things to unfold so coincidentally—eting Leng Weichen at the airport at noon and then seeing him again that evening.

"Oh, Auntie, hello. I’m Yan Ting’s friend. My na is Leng Weichen," Leng Weichen greeted Huo Ning politely and formally.

Huo Ning nodded at him courteously.

"Yan Ting, see you at the company tomorrow. I’ll be leaving now," Leng Weichen said before leaving. His gaze surprisedly swept over Lin Banxia, who was keeping her head down, and then he turned and departed.

Once Leng Weichen appeared, the atmosphere at the table noticeably shifted to sothing strange.

Lin Banxia hadn’t greeted Leng Weichen earlier, and he also seed unfamiliar with her.

But both Huo Ning and Yan Ting had their thoughts brewing.

Especially Huo Ning, who had initially planned to see how Lin Banxia would handle the situation. Yet, Lin Banxia’s calm and collected deanor instantly made Huo Ning regard her differently.

She thought Lin Banxia must be a scheming girl. Otherwise, how could she have asked for his phone number at noon and then pretended not to know him in the evening?

Was it because she feared causing misunderstandings for Yan Ting?

After exiting the restaurant, Huo Ning drove away on her own.

Yan Ting asked Lin Banxia to take his car ho, and Lin Banxia’s car was driven away by his chauffeur.

Lin Banxia could sense that ever since Leng Weichen appeared, Yan Ting’s deanor had grown darker and more brooding.

Would he really bring up past matters again? Heaven and earth could attest that she truly didn’t have any feelings for Leng Weichen.

"So, how do you feel after seeing your ’male idol’?"

Sure enough, the man’s deep, indifferent voice rang out. The next second, Yan Ting pressed the gas pedal, and his car sped into the vast nightscape.

Lin Banxia’s breath tightened slightly. Half-jokingly, she replied, "Husband, what do you an by that? When did I ever admit that Leng Weichen was my male idol?"

"The look you gave him earlier clearly showed excitent," Yan Ting said, his tone tinged with displeasure.

He had purposefully observed Lin Banxia’s expression. At the mont she saw Leng Weichen, there had been an unmistakable ripple in her reaction.

Lin Banxia suddenly had nothing to say. She was obviously shocked earlier—where had the excitent co from?

"Husband, do you seriously suspect that I have sothing with Leng Weichen? He doesn’t even know . Didn’t you notice that he didn’t greet at all? We’ve never t before..." This was utterly frustrating! They had a completely innocent connection, yet the more she explained, the guiltier it seed.

"He may not have t you personally, but didn’t you fall for him after seeing his photo in a magazine? Secretly pining for soone, huh?" Yan Ting mocked.

Even he didn’t understand why he was being so petty. Normally, he wouldn’t even bother with such trivial matters.

Lin Banxia stared ahead at the road and sighed helplessly, "Whether you believe or not, I honestly don’t have feelings for Leng Weichen. From my perspective, you’re richer, more handso, and treat so well. How could I possibly... fall for soone else?"

Yan Ting turned his head slightly to glance at her. His thin lips curled into a faint smile—this little mouth was certainly getting better at saying sweet things.

"When you ntioned ’falling for soone else,’ does that an you’ve already fallen for ?" Yan Ting’s lips curved slightly, his tone carrying a trace of smugness.

Lin Banxia stiffened slightly, turning to et his deep and unreadable eyes. She felt a bit uneasy all over.

"Ahem... Maybe... possibly?" Lin Banxia truly didn’t want to admit outright that she had developed so unexplainable feelings for him.

"I once said you must fall in love with within three months. It seems... progress has been made," Yan Ting genuinely believed this woman wouldn’t dare betray him.
