After hearing their ridicule, Lin Banxia instantly understood what the man’s chuckle and "forget it" ant earlier.
Leng Weichen must also think she intentionally broke his phone to try to get his phone number, right?

The won got even angrier upon hearing this and imdiately decided not to engage further. They shot her a few disdainful glances before scurrying off.
After this little mishap, Lin Banxia quickly rembered her actual airport task and hurriedly began looking around for Huo Ning.

Lin Banxia ran through every corner of the airport, but Huo Ning was nowhere to be found.

With a face full of "crying without tears," Lin Banxia sat in her car, wearing a bitter expression, as she called Yan Ting.

"Late again?" The man asked calmly, hearing her apologetic tone.
"No... I totally saw her earlier. But then a little incident happened, and now I can’t find her anywhere," Lin Banxia didn’t dare ntion she’d run into Leng Weichen.
Yan Ting had already suspected before that her crush might be Leng Weichen. If he found out it was because of Leng Weichen that she’d botched this whole task, wouldn’t he be furious?
"Alright, you head ho first. I’ll call my aunt and figure it out. We’ll have dinner together tonight, okay?" Yan Ting didn’t press further; he simply told her to go ho.
Lin Banxia bit her lip and agreed, then drove ho.
Yan Ting called his aunt, only to find out that she had indeed taken a cab to the Huo Family’s house.
Yan Ting apologized to his aunt—after all, he’d originally promised to have his girlfriend pick her up from the airport. Now things had turned out this way, which indeed looked a bit irresponsible.

She arrived at the restaurant Yan Ting had reserved—it was a very upscale Western-style establishnt.
Since it was only a three-person dinner, Yan Ting had chosen a table by the window, rather than a private room. The spot offered a view of half the city’s night lights.
