Huo Qinglin hadn’t expected Yan Ting to openly threaten him like this. His nerves tightened, revealing traces of fear.
"Big Brother, I’m just stating facts. Even if I don’t say it now, she’s bound to find out sooner or later. The engagent between you and the Chu Family isn’t exactly a secret in our circles." Huo Qinglin replied, feigning composure.
Yan Ting sneered coldly, "I know exactly what you’re plotting. But mark my words—keep this in mind: In your heart, she will forever be the woman you cannot have. In the future, you’ll have to call her ’sister-in-law.’ Understood?"

"You can’t seriously be thinking about marrying her. What kind of joke is that?" Huo Qinglin’s face darkened instantly, full of disbelief.
Yan Ting couldn’t be bothered to waste ti. He rely added in a chilling tone, "Just rember every word I’ve said. If you cross my line, you’ll regret it before you even realize."
Huo Qinglin’s face flushed an ashen shade of iron-gray after listening.
