Fu Mingzhu had already gotten used to it; whenever there was sothing new, she would be the first to share it with Fu Shinian.

Whenever she heard so gossip, she would be the first to tell Fu Shinian.

When Taste Building introduced new food, she would be the first to take Fu Shinian to try it.

Whenever she thought of marrying into the Gu Mansion the next day and no longer being able to be the first to go to Fu Shinian, Fu Mingzhu felt as if the sky was falling.

"Shinian, if you’re free, could you co by the Gu Mansion to see often?" Fu Mingzhu pleaded pitifully, "There in the Gu Mansion, when I encounter sothing new, I can’t imdiately go to Gu Lingyi to talk about it, can I?"

After all, she wasn’t as close to Gu Lingyi as she was to Fu Shinian.

Fu Shinian nodded, "Sister, don’t worry, I’ll definitely visit you often."

"I’m not married yet, so it might not look good for to frequently visit the Gu Mansion. But once I’m married, visiting you won’t raise eyebrows," Fu Shinian said.

Fu Mingzhu nodded, "Then I’ll have to bear with it a bit longer. You’re right, it’s not convenient for you to visit the Gu Mansion frequently now."

For the first ti, Fu Shinian had the thought of wanting to marry quickly.

The next day, Fu Mingzhu was married.

This ti, Xiao Chengyu beca one of the Fu family’s people, standing together with Fu Changqin at the entrance of the Fu family’s mansion.

When Gu Yunze’s wedding procession arrived, they began to pose challenges to Gu Yunze.

Gu Yunze: "..."

"Lord Marquis, why are you on the Fu family’s side this ti?" Gu Yunze asked.

"Look at what you’re saying; I was also on the Fu family’s side last ti." Last ti when Fu Changqin went to Elder Yong’an’s manor for the wedding, Xiao Chengyu was part of the Fu family’s procession.

Gu Yunze: "..."

Indeed, that’s the case.

Last ti he was also part of the Fu family’s wedding procession, helping Fu Changqin.

Thus, he subconsciously felt that Xiao Chengyu should be on the groom’s side.

But it turned out Xiao Chengyu had always been on the Fu family’s side.

Gu Yunze couldn’t help but look at him; he wasn’t even a son-in-law of the Fu family yet but was already so dedicated.

Gu Yunze had no choice but to clasp his hands towards Fu Changqin and Xiao Chengyu, saying, "Big brother, considering how I had been dedicated during your wedding, could you ease up a bit this ti and not give overly difficult tasks?"

"Lord Marquis." Gu Yunze continued, "When the day cos for your wedding, I’ll be there waiting at the Fu Mansion’s gates too."

Xiao Chengyu: "..."

Who said Gu Yunze was honest?

Gu Yunze used his emotional card with Fu Changqin and mildly threatened Xiao Chengyu, successfully getting Fu Changqin and Xiao Chengyu to step aside, thus allowing Fu Mingzhu to be brought out.

Fu Shinian watched as Fu Mingzhu, dressed in her wedding attire, was carried onto the flower palanquin by Fu Changqin, unable to hold back her tears.

Madam Fu had no choice but to comfort Fu Shinian with tears in her eyes, "Don’t cry, such a joyful day shouldn’t be marked with tears. You, child, can still visit the Gu Mansion in the future."

Aunt Cheng watched Fu Mingzhu get into the palanquin wistfully, unable to see her again, and couldn’t hold back her tears.

Fu Shinian could visit the Gu Mansion often, but Aunt Cheng couldn’t.

Madam Fu had to comfort Aunt Cheng as well, "Don’t cry, Mingzhu can also co back often in the future."

"I know, but it’s not like before when she was ho every day." Aunt Cheng said tearfully, "Even if she can return, it’s only occasionally, and if she does it too often, won’t her in-laws be displeased?"

Aunt Cheng sobbed, "Knowing Mingzhu was ho back then, although I knew this day would co, every ti I saw her, I felt at ease and didn’t mind. But now that this day is here, it’s still hard to bear."

"Our family has always been simple, never letting her suffer, raising her to be straightforward. Although the Gu Mansion is good, it’s still her husband’s family. Can they tolerate her personality?"

"I’m truly afraid she’ll suffer grievances at the Gu Mansion and won’t be able to voice it." Aunt Cheng said as she wiped her tears, "Moreover, at ho she stayed with Shinian day and night. At the Gu Mansion, it’ll be different. There are many things she can say to Shinian but not to the girls of the Gu family."

"I’ve told her, if there’s sothing she can’t say to others, to send a ssage back, and I’ll send Shinian over." Madam Fu said, "So matters she might initially want our advice on, but as part of another family, it’s not appropriate for us to visit. Let Shinian be a diator."

"If it’s sothing that can be resolved just by talking to Shinian, that would be ideal." Madam Fu took Aunt Cheng into the room, "Last night, Mingzhu ca to find ."

Aunt Cheng was surprised.

Last night she also went to see Fu Mingzhu, talking to her for a long ti.

She didn’t know when Fu Mingzhu went to see Madam Fu.

Madam Fu said, "Mingzhu told that if she goes to the border with Little General Gu in the future, she wants to take you with her and asked if I would agree."

Aunt Cheng burst into tears with a loud cry.

The tears that had just stopped began to flow relentlessly.

"Of course I agreed. She said she hasn’t asked you yet; she just ca to seek my consent first." Madam Fu said, "I said as long as you agree, both the master and I also agree."

"Before, because of your status as a concubine, you couldn’t go out, especially with Mingzhu. From Mingzhu’s engagent until her wedding today, you couldn’t be present." Madam Fu said, "I know you’ve been wronged."

Aunt Cheng shook her head.

"I know when you ca into the mansion as a concubine, it wasn’t what you wished." Madam Fu said, "If it weren’t for the Cheng Family’s difficulties back then, seeking help from the master, you wouldn’t have had to beco a second wife. If the Cheng Family were like it is now, you could have easily married as the main wife."

"Madam, don’t say that. You and the master have treated well. Moreover, if it weren’t for , you and the master wouldn’t have had anyone else, and your bond would have been stronger, wouldn’t it? My family sent to intervene." Aunt Cheng said, "Since I chose to be a concubine, I naturally have to fulfill my role as one."

"I’m not even qualified to want too much. Besides, the Madam and the master have treated well. In other families, who would allow a concubine to be so close to the young mistress? You allow Mingzhu to call mother and treat Mingzhu kindly."

"Mingzhu and I are very lucky to be in the Fu family."

Madam Fu patted Aunt Cheng’s hand, saying, "Whether you choose to go to the border with Mingzhu or stay in the mansion, the choice is yours."

"Madam, I’m willing to go to the border with Mingzhu. Although life at the border is tough, being able to stay by Mingzhu’s side ans more than any gold or silver house."

Madam Fu smiled and said, "I knew you’d say that."

"But that’s sothing for the future. For now, the couple might not go to the border. You’ll have to stay in the mansion with for several years." Madam Fu said.

Aunt Cheng broke into a smile amidst her tears; although it was sothing for the future, knowing that there could indeed be such a day gave her hope.

The sadness in Aunt Cheng’s heart lessened significantly.

"Stop crying now." Madam Fu said, "There are guests up front; wipe your tears and co with to greet them."
