"That doesn’t matter..."

Leng Yan didn’t even glance at the phone, letting it ring continuously.

He just smiled softly, biting down on her collarbone: "Tonight, my eyes only have you, no phone..."

Hearing his unique declaration, Wen Nuan’s heart sweetened, her long legs climbing up his strong waist...

Tonight, without the phone, her/his heart only had him/her.

The phone rang for a while before stopping, then started ringing again after a few seconds, but Leng Yan remained unmoved.

After their passion, Wen Nuan took care of her body and wanted to crawl into her own bed, only to belatedly realize that the other quilt had long disappeared, and the pillow was replaced with a couple’s pillow.

"Did you change it?" She pointed at the pillow and quilt, her eyes showing surprise. Her heart was excited to the point of leaping; she’d long wanted to change them but was always afraid it would increase his aversion. She wanted to wait until their relationship could truly be described with the word ’love’ before doing these things.

"Is there anyone else in this room?" Leng Yan curled his lips, deliberately glancing around.

"Yan, you’re becoming more like a husband now." Wen Nuan’s laughter bubbled up from her heart, held in his arms, her head resting against his chest: "I finally can’t feel the cold icy aura from you anymore, Yan, do you know? I’m finally starting to have so confidence in this marriage."

If things continued like this, she believed she could truly gain his love, real happiness.

"Don’t ntion divorce again, I don’t like it." Leng Yan sighed, giving her a light peck on the lips.

"Don’t fall asleep in the bathtub again, you know that’s very dangerous?" His pupils had a hint of a threat in them.

"Are you concerned about ?" Wen Nuan looked up, joy spreading in her heart.

He smiled a little wickedly: "What’s with those clothes, did you buy them specifically to wear for ?"

"No, Tong Xi bought them for ." Wen Nuan shook her head, blushing. Gosh, how could he think that?

He let out an ’oh’ without saying anything further, his eyes nonetheless smiling mischievously.

In the morning, when she got out of bed, she saw the two of them sleeping under the sa quilt, leading to a sweet smile curling at the corners of her lips.

When she got up to go to the bathroom, as she sat up, he embraced her again, pulling her back into his quilt. Wen Nuan opened her eyes to look at him: "Don’t you have to get up early?"

He turned to kiss her forehead: "It’s the weekend today."

"I actually forgot." Wen Nuan chuckled: "There’s a company event in a few days, I need to buy a dress."

"Want to go with you?" Leng Yan raised an eyebrow.

She looked up and smiled at him, drawing circles on his chest: "Of course, I want to, but would you be willing?"

Her fingers were so gentle, every spot she touched sent an electric feeling, an unusual numbness, making his body involuntarily excited. He gently bit her ear: "Trying to seduce ? Fine, if you accompany one more ti, I’ll go with you."

"No way, my bones are falling apart." Seeing him move closer, Wen Nuan quickly pushed him away, picking up and putting on a robe.

He had tired her out multiple tis last night, if it went on, she’d truly run out of strength.

Leng Yan watched her quickly slip into the bathroom, and as his gaze caught the phone on the bedside table, he rembered the call from last night.

With just one glance, his brows furrowed tightly.

Ji Wei.

He had guessed it was her, so he didn’t bother to pay attention.

Just as he was about to throw away the phone and get up, the vibration and text notification sounded together.

Leng Yan cursed under his breath, saw it was Ji Wei again, and out of curiosity opened it as he was about to delete it, his expression slightly stiffening.
