Chapter 52: Reiki

Old Li, who was standing next to the captain, saw the change in Chu Ze’s expression. He knew that Chu Ze had decided to be ruthless.

However, no one knew how Old Li could see the expression on a fish’s face.

“Captain, Chu Ze is probably going to use his strength. I wonder what skill he has been keeping until now?”

The captain chuckled, “With Madman’s strength, I reckon that even if he goes all out today, he won’t be able to protect the two pounds of flesh on his body.”

Looking at Madman who continued to charge at him, Chu Ze’s expression changed. He activated his skill, ntal attack.

A golden light shot out from his eyes. That speed was not sothing a human could dodge. It hit Madman right between his brows.

Madman who was hit by the golden light did not even make a sound before he fainted. Moreover, he slid for a long distance under the effect of inertia.

He slid all the way to Chu Ze’s side, and Chu Ze used the ti Madman fainted to escape into the water.

Chu Ze, who had just entered the water, turned into a small fish and swam to the middle of the pool. He looked at Madman beside the pool with so worry because he did not know whether this ntal attack would have a serious impact on humans.

Madman was soone who relied on his brain. If it had an impact on his brain, the Pioneer would probably punish Chu Ze.

The captain and Old Li, who were by the window on the second floor, saw this scene and their eyes sparkled. No one knew what they were thinking.

Old Li left the bedside and sat down on the chair.

“Captain, can you explain this situation?”

“I originally thought that he was going to use so powerful move, but now his move is emitting a golden light from his eyes. I’ve never seen it before.”

The captain thought for a mont, “This skill seems to only appear in the bodies of those ancient mythical beasts, but it has never been seen in humans.”

Old Li shook his head, “In the past two years, there have been more and more strange things. First, so inexplicable animals appeared in the mountains, then mutated creatures. Now, even humans have begun to change.”

“I wonder what other changes will happen in the future.”

“Oh right, have you analyzed the unknown ingredients that appeared in the air previously?”

The captain shook his head and said, “So far, we haven’t analyzed the composition of that substance, but we have learned so of its effects.”

Old Li’s eyes flashed, “Oh? Since we know its effects, does that an we know how to use it?”

“That substance is very active, but in so cases, it shows no activity at all.”

“After experints, that substance can replace all the nutrients needed by living things, and it can also replace air.”

Old Li widened his eyes. “Captain, do you an that this substance can basically be said to be omnipotent?”

The captain nodded. “Not only that. This substance can also allow people to perform powerful moves. So fans of novels directly nad this substance ‘Reiki’.”

“Hehe, this na is quite appropriate. I wonder if this substance has any side effects on humans.”

The captain shook his head and said, “Don’t you know about the side effects yourself? The air now contains this substance. You breathe it into your body every day. Isn’t there no adverse reaction?”

“That’s true. Not only is there no adverse reaction, but even the side effects left by my injury when I was young have also disappeared. I thought it disappeared by itself after a long period.”

Old Li pondered for a mont before saying, “If this substance is really the Reiki in the novel, doesn’t it an that the world will change from the era of technology to the era of cultivation in the future?”

The captain laughed. “It might not end up choosing between the two of them. Why can’t it be a combination of the two?”

“That’s true. The combination of the two is not bad. However, due to the ergence of all sorts of Evolver across the country, the coverage rate has increased rapidly. I wonder if the captain has any good solutions.”

The captain shook his head. “What good solutions can I have? That is sothing the country should consider.”

“However, there is really a solution which is the power of the law enforcers can surpass all Evolvers.”

Old Li nodded and said, “Currently, the power of the law enforcers can indeed surpass all Evolvers. However, there is a problem. Currently, only the Pioneer can completely surpass other Evolvers. anwhile, the number of Pioneer is only a few hundred in the country. It’s simply not enough.”

The captain looked out of the window. “I hope what that little fish outside said is true. If this thing can succeed, perhaps our Pioneer can appear in large numbers.”

When Old Li heard this, he was shocked. “How is that possible? Back then, in order to create these hundreds of Pioneers, a whole 50,000 people were sacrificed.”

Then, Old Li followed the captain’s gaze and looked out of the window. “Could this fish bring about a change in this situation?”

“Whether he could bring forth changes or not, just follow and we’ll know.”

Old Li nodded and said, “If we can produce a large number of Pioneer, of course, it’s a good thing. I originally planned to let this little guy improve a little before bringing him to participate in that mission, but now it seems that it won’t work.”

“It doesn’t matter. These two missions won’t affect each other.”

“Let’s go. We’ll talk as we walk.”

The two of them walked downstairs as they spoke. At this ti, Madman was still lying on the ground and hadn’t woken up. It was as if he was asleep.

The captain smiled when he saw Madman. “This madman, I’m afraid he hasn’t had such a good sleep quality for several years. This can be considered a good thing for him.”

Chu Ze relaxed when he saw the captain. He thought to himself, “The captain can’t possibly want to cut my flesh too, right?”

The captain stood by the water and waved at Chu Ze. Chu Ze imdiately swam to the waterside.

“Captain, why are you looking for ?”

The captain pointed at Old Li. “Let introduce you. This is the strongest person in our Pioneer team, Old Li.”

Old Li smiled and nodded. “Hello, Little Guy. Just call Old Li. Everyone here calls that.”

Seeing Old Li’s amiable smile, he was relieved. He was originally afraid that Old Li, the strongest Pioneer, would have a bad temper.

“My na is Chu Ze. Please take care of , Senior.”

The captain smiled and nodded. “Last night, when Li Feng reported the situation to , he told about you. He said that you can perfect the cultivation thod, right?”

Chu Ze nodded. “That’s right. But to perfect the cultivation thod, I need to consu my evolution energy. I need to accumulate energy before I can perfect the cultivation thod.”

According to the situation last ti when he perfected the cultivation thod perfecting the cultivation thod did not need to consu evolution point. Only when he completed the cultivation thod did he need to consu evolution point.

This was Chu Ze’s little plan. If he could obtain more evolution points, his strength would increase by leaps and bounds. Moreover, he would not need to spend ti cultivating like these Pioneers.
