"Pyro!" I commanded, my eyes locked on the massive silhouette before . "Activate Blazing Universe..."

The elental Dog’s fiery mane flared like a living sun as it opened its maw, and flas coiled and expanded outward in a spiraling torrent. A mont later, the entirety of the place around us ignited and columns if roaring fire surged upward, engulfing the Shadow Chimp in a hell storm if molten fury.

The entire alcove shook under the intensity of the attack. The very air rippled hit and the remaining Shadow guards screeched as pyros inferno tore through the darkness.

But due to the monsters sheer size and dexterity, it didn’t burn, but was left with spot of eroding shadows that blew away with the violent air...

Instead of dying growls, a guttural roar erupted from within the flas, a deep, thunderous and rage filled one. The fire bent backwards as if pushed by an invisible wall and then sothing else followed.

A colossal surge of Anti-arcane energy exploding outwards from the Boss monster, it ca in black svd red waves clashing against the flas and sniffing them out like candle light in a thick storm.

The backlash sent cracks through the floor and walls, she the force slamd against Pyro as well.

"Woah... Pyro..." I muttered, shielding my face from the wind.

The elental dog whimpered, its once blazing and fiery mane dimming to faint embers and it’s legs began to tremble, also it let out a strange sound like a whimper of fear.

I frowned. Pyro has never whimpered not even when facing stronger opponents.

"What the hell..."

Before I could step closer, the system chid in.

~Warning~

~Dingolastocus has activated skill: Subdue~

~Description: Target within the boss’s aura experience unnatural fear. Confidence, resistance and combat instincts are suppressed by 60%~

I clenched my fist, "So thats it... In that case why wasn’t I affected by the skill? Is because of my exceptional intelligence?"

That explained everything; the trembling, the sudden weakness and the fear radiating form my companion. The damn thing wasn’t just string it was radiating psychology corruption.

I clicked my tongue as intrigue began to hold up inside of . "You think pseudo-fear is gonna stop us?"

I turned to Pyro, the elental Dog’s flas was now flickering weakly but it’s eyes were still locked on the monstrous figure ahead. I placed my hand on its head, feeling the faint pulse of heat struggling to remain alive.

"It is a very resourceful skill... Alright boy. You’ve done enough," I said softly. "Grant your skills..."

Pyro whimpered again buy obeyed. The runes along its neck region began to glow deep purple and pulsed imdiately in sync with my heartbeat.

Ding!

~Your Arcane pet >Elental Dogs: Pyro< has granted you its skills~

Just then, flas spiraled up my arms, wrapping around my biceps like a second skin. My veins burned a deep purple colour as I channeled my Arcane energy outward.

I looked up at the boss monster through the veil of heat and smoke.

"I guess I’ll have to take matters into my own hands, there goes my grand plan to attack from distance..."

The boss monster dead this as a sign to attack first, and I launched forward, using my agility to dodge the boss’s heavy , crushing blows.

The ground shook heavily with that stroke and stone crumbled beneath the creatures fist.

I countered with swift calculated attacks, striking at the bosses weak points and weaving through its defenses like a shadow myself as directed by my Divine Thread skill.

My Agility and strength, honed through countless battles made a formidable opponent and I was relentless, each strike more powerful than the last.

But the boss was resilient. It’s body absorbed my blows and even when it was reinforced with Arcane powered fire it reford each ti it seed close to breaking apart.

As the battle raged on, I felt my stamina waring down, my movents slowing under the weight of the creature’s attacks. Yet, I remained focused and refused to give in.

I knew using just the power of one Arcane pet was not gonna cut it, so I doubled down. I needed sothing that would help break down the creature and defeat it knowing fully well it had more than one magic stone.

"Co forth..."

"Egar..."

Egar wasted no ti to pounce out of the summoning portal and imdiately activated its provocation skill.

Ding!

~Your Arcane Pet >Egar< has activated its skill~

~Active Skill: Aggro Field~

Boom!

The bastard fell for the provocation and that was the chance I needed to strike as hard as I possibly could.

We lunged at the boss, tearing into the Shadowy flesh and distracting the creature long enough for to strike a decisive series of blows at its vital points.

I pulled out my Cobra’s Tongue and channeled Arcane energy through the steel length.

"Erebis!"

A powerful reinforced arc with contrasting fire colour of orange and black struck the creature at its vital points and dislodging it’s magic stone.

As the boss disintegrated into a cloud of dark mist, the oppressive weight lifted from the air and a massive deafening silence followed, the only audible thing being my breathing.

I stood still, my heart pounding as I watched the last wiper if darkness fade into nothingness.

With the boss monster defeated, I felt a familiar rush if power flooding through as I absorbed it’s magic stone, leaving one for possible Rebirth.

Ding!
