For the next two hours, I madly haunted down every low ranked Shadow bastard I could find.

Afterwards I confird the number of Anti-arcane essence I managed to absorb.

~Collected Anti-arcane energy: 609\20,000~

I had now completed about three percent of the quest. If I could continue hunting at this speed, then according to my calculations, I could finish this quest in another two hours or so.

In the blink of an eye, I killed twenty more low ranked Shadow creatures.

"This is a gold mine for ... I’m racking up so much stat points..."

~Available stat points: 50~

Both my experience points, stat points and the number of Anti-arcane essence continued to read as I continued to hunt down the bastards.

Within the sa hour, I arrived at that purple twinkling light that I had seen in the distance before. It was said to be the Dungeon Checkpoint, which would transport to another dinsion of this dungeon.

The light was just a re, glowing orb or purple light. And below it was a magic circle carved on the ground.

Without any hesitation, I stepped inside. But, nothing happened.

Then just when I thought that maybe the dungeon was broken —

Ding!

~You are transferring to the second dinsion~

And then and even stronger ray of light began rising up from the magic circle. And at the sa ti I could feel my body parts decipating.

"Ah, so that’s how it works..."

I was then transferred to the second dinsion of the dungeon, along with the blinding explosion of light.

There was no sunlight in this dungeon and there was no way I could tell the ti because I didn’t bring a ti piece along. But since I got to this dungeon to that mont, it felt as though a full day had passed. But in reality it was just shy of about eighteen hours or there about.

I took a look at the surroundings. It was still very much like a ruined farm land with burning flas and a fiery orange sky.

I ca to the eventual conclusion that the higher I climbed the dinsions, the more difficult the obstacles would get.

Before moving, I checked the result of my hard work, shifting my gaze over to the quest progress window of the system.

~Collected Anti-arcane essence: 2,116\20,000~

aning I had haunted down over a thousand Shadow creatures in less than a day.

It was still a long way off from the goal of twenty thousand essence, but I was betting I. The Shadow creatures of the upper dinsions that allegedly possessed multiple Anti-arcane stones.

So that would an getting to higher dinsions should remain my priority.

As for my stat points, they kept getting higher and higher. And the continues influx of Anti-arcane energy kept my Arcane reserves at tiptop shape, so my skills like Erebis and Divine Thread were active non-stop to max out my chancing of getting faster kills and efficiency.

"Nice!"

I grinned brightly and leaned against a wall. I felt safer and more content as I beca stronger but by but, and soon my eyelids closed.

AN UNKNOWN LOCATION

In a cave buried deep in the forests throat, cold air hung thick with the scent of damp soil and decay, the musk of moss long dried. Outside, the night was alive with the restless ticking of crickets with their rhythmic chirps slicing through the silence like a hit pulse beneath the bushes.

Regazan The Blood Faun stepped forward, it’s hooves clicking softly against the stone floor. As it erged into the silver light of the moon. The light caught its curved horns arched backwards and its shadowy skin.

Then the bastards lips coiled into a sick grin, revealing jagged, glistening red teeth m the creature’s eyes glowed deep, infernal red but it wasn’t bright, it was smoldering like embers that refused to die.

"The one who opposed us has entered the big one..." It rasped, voice heavy with intense satisfaction. "This is our chance to take as much Arcane energy as we need..."

A second voice broke off from the cave’s interior depths. It was sleek and smooth and laces with mockery.

"And how did you co to that conclusion, Regazan? How do you know our greatest opposition isn’t still watching?".

Regazan tilted its horned head back and let out a low throaty chuckle.

"I have human intel," it said, dragging the words out with a dark amusent. "A foolish human, to be precise. Are you coming or not, Marjito? I’m gathering as many of our mindless kin as we need."

From the blackness of the cave, an obsurd figure moved unnaturally. The outline of another creature, its eyes were softer red almost like as if it were lazy.

Marjito yawned, the sound was wet and guttural. "Alright, Regazan... Though I was really hoping to et this so called natural enemy of our you speak of. But..." It grinned, tongue dragging across sharp teeth. "I’m starving for so Arcane energy."

Regazan’s grin widened, splitting it shadowy face with eerie delight. The air around the them as faint mist began to rise from the nearby bushes as dark tendrils crawled across the ground like living smoke. One by one, smaller, less intelligent Shadow creatures erged from their hiding places, with their eyes igniting in the dark like scattered rubies.

"Arise... It’s ti for a feast..."

And almost instantly, the crickets went silent.

~4,999/20,000~

The second dinsion of this realm wasn’t any different from the first one.

Although the creatures here were way tougher than the previous dinsion, they still were a cake walk to .

Using my Spacial Manipulation Technique— Repell to destroy half of the platoon in one swing and slashing the rest in another swing.

However, unlike the last dinsion, this one had the presence of a supre being that governd the affairs of the space. That suggested to that it was a boss monster and I would have to defeat it before crossing to the next dinsion.

Making my way to the dungeon checkpoint was fairly easy but just before the purple light was the boss monster.

It was massive giant like creature with a massive body and a giant tusk that very much resembled that of an elephant.

The thing consisted if s huge ss of fatty shadowy flesh that must’ve weighed dozens of tons. No, maybe eve several hundred, instead. And then, the massive club this thing was holding in its hand was rather terrifying as well.

However a smile was etched on my face.
