The pressure of their expectant stares made it seem as though the fate of the world hung in the balance.

"Damn it all," he cursed in his thoughts, feeling overwheld. "I never signed up for this kind of drama. Are they seriously expecting to choose?" The thought of managing a complex harem dynamic made him uneasy. It was a trope he'd seen in many isekai fantasies, but he never thought he'd be in the protagonist's position.

His gaze drifted to Chrono Nexus, her cheeks flushing crimson as their eyes t. The mory of their first battle flashed through his mind, sending a shiver down his spine. "I don't think I could handle a masochistic goddess," he thought, his cheeks coloring with embarrassnt.

"Barely know Genreia," he continued, his thoughts racing. "And Tatilia... well, what I know about her cos from the mories of a black dragon." He sighed, feeling utterly torn. "And what's up with Hestria... when did I even et her for her to be looking at like that.." he shiged as he mused futher, "I don't really know any of them well enough to make such a decision."

Despite his internal turmoil, he couldn't bring himself to outright reject their advances. "I can't just say no," he reasoned, his heart heavy with guilt. "But saying yes feels equally impossible."

As Akun grappled with his inner turmoil, he sought solace in a mont of clarity. "I just need to calm down," he thought, his mind racing with conflicting emotions. "I know how to handle this."

With a deliberate exhale, he released the tension that had been building within him. Folding his arms across his chest, he assud a posture of authority. "As the Monarch of this nation, are you actually expecting to choose? This is my land an everything belongs to . It's obvious what my choice is."

"Wait... Is he saying that?" All the won at the table thought the sa thing, their minds trailing off as each of their cheeks slowly turned crimson, smiling slightly. Continue your adventure with My Virtual Library Empire

Hearing what Akun said, Kaldarix couldn't help but mutter, "Wait... Did Father just say..." He turned to face llin as he spoke, his eyebrows furrowing in shock.

llin nodded as she said, "I think he just did... I'm sure he did," her head tilting slightly to the side as she considered the implications.

Akun then slowly rose from the table, his movents deliberate and controlled, and turned to leave as he added, "And I would prefer it if you don't ask such questions next ti, Genreia. Am I clear?" His tone was firm, his eyes narrowing slightly as he addressed Genreia.

Genreia smiled, her cheeks flushing with embarrassnt, as she replied, "I-I understand, my liege," her hands fidgeting nervously in her lap.

Akun then replied as he narrowed his eyes, "Good. Now, if you don't mind, I would like to go enjoy the festival with the others. The little light show display from Finn and Ember earlier has itching for a test of strength," a faint smile playing on his lips as he spoke.

Saying those words, Akun couldn't help but smile slightly as he mused, "I'm sure I totally landed it with that one. By saying it's obvious what my choice is, each of them would feel like they were the one chosen. Yet at the sa ti, I didn't openly choose anyone, so no one can actually say they were the one chosen.

"Akun paused then continued, Feeling like they have secured their position, I'm sure they won't bother too much, and they won't be going after each other's necks. This way Ii can get to know them befor I finally choos invite future." Akun smiled slightly as he knodded his head, "I'm amazed at the lever of my Negotiation skills."

Suddenly, Akun was halted by Kaldarix as he said, "As expected from you, Father. I still have a lot to learn. Why should you settle for one when you can have it all? Truly amazing." He nodded as he spoke, a look of admiration crossing his face.

Inwardly, Akun mused as he gazed at Kaldarix, "Have it all? What is he talking about?" Akun saw Kaldarix's enthusiastic gaze, making him feel akward as he mused futher, "For so reason... I don't want to know."

Akun then spoke up, saying, "llin, Kaldarix, follow . We are going to be training our dragon aura," his voice confident and authoritative as he took charge of the situation.

Kaldarix bead with enthusiasm as he nodded, his eyes shining with excitent. "Alright, Father, lead the way," he said, his voice brimming with eagerness.

llin's smile widened as she spoke, her tone filled with loyalty. "Where you go, we go, Master. Lead the way."

Akun nodded in agreent, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Good," he replied, his voice steady and confident. "But before that, let's grab sothing to eat from so of the stalls."

llin and Kaldarix then yelled, "Right!" in response and followed behind their master and father with determined strides.

As Akun departed from the table, a charged atmosphere lingered among the won, each stealing glances at one another, their cheeks tinged with a rosy hue.

Tatilia broke the silence first, her voice soft and reflective. "As expected of Master," she murmured, her hand pressing against her heated cheeks. "I was naive to think I could have him all to myself," she admitted, turning her head from side to side, avoiding eye contact.

Genreia, still blushing, nodded in agreent. "He is truly remarkable," she whispered, her voice filled with awe. "Back when the dragons ruled, only clan heads had multiple spouses. I guess I was short-sighted to think I alone would be enough for him," she confessed, her gaze drifting into the distance.

anwhile, Hestria blushed deeply as she pondered her sudden predicant. "I just beca his loyal sword a few hours ago... Now I'm going to beco a concubine?" she thought to herself, feeling overwheld by the rapid turn of events. Before she could process it all, she fainted, her head landing heavily on the table with a thud.

Chrono Nexus, seizing the opportunity to assert her dominance, slamd her hand on the table, commanding everyone's attention. "We may be sharing, but we will be establishing hierarchy here," she declared, her gaze sharp and unwavering. "And I co first in line of importance. Are we clear?" she demanded, her voice ringing with authority.

Tatilia and Genreia nodded in unison, their agreent evident in their solemn expressions. "Agreed," they murmured, acknowledging Chrono Nexus' position with a deferential nod.
