Akun extended a calming presence, a reassuring smile softening the edges of his expression. "Calm down, both of you. What you experienced is not a cause for alarm. What you felt is known as resonance, a connection that allows dragons to be aware of each other's existence."

Kaldarix's brows furrowed, seeking further understanding. "Resonance? Why did it feel so... Weird?"

Akun continued to elucidate, "Resonance can be triggered by two factors, and urgency often accompanies the recognition of a powerful presence or a significant event. It's a natural aspect of our dragon heritage, a way for dragons to communicate across vast distances."

llin nodded, her gaze reflecting a mix of relief and curiosity. "So, it's a normal part of being a dragon?"

Akun affird, "Indeed, it is. Dragons use resonance to communicate, share information, and sense the presence of others. It's a complex system that aids in maintaining a connection between dragons scattered across different territories."

Kaldarix's eyes widened with newfound understanding, and he exchanged a glance with llin. "So, there are other dragons out there?" Read exclusive chapters at My Virtual Library Empire

Akun nodded, "Not... really.. Dragons are ancient beings, they are honestly supposed to have been extinct, but it seems so of them are still alive."

As Akun saw the curiosity in llin and Kaldarix's eyes, he gently hushed them with a finger to his lips. "There's much more to discuss, but not here. Follow back to the castle; I'll explain everything there."

As they prepared to leave, Akun, ever observant, noted the absence of the other mbers of the Brave Vanguard. "I noticed you both ca alone. Where are the others?"

Kaldarix quickly responded, "They had so urgent business to attend to, so only llin and I could co."

With a nod, Akun sighed, "Very well. Let's start heading back then." In a swift motion, he lifted both llin and Kaldarix off the ground with his aspect power. Together, they ascended into the air, leaving the forest's edge behind as they soared towards the ant city.

anwhile, Gideon's steps muffled in the forest grass as he approached the majestic ant city gates. His arms held the wounded dragon princess delicately. He approached the guards and, with a slow nod, requested the gates to be opened.

The guards exchanged glances, recognizing the arrival of a guardian, and swiftly obeyed. The massive gates creaked open, revealing the sprawling ant city beyond. Gideon, carrying the princess, stepped through the entrance, guided by the bustling activity of the ant inhabitants.

The princess, her eyes scanning the surroundings, couldn't help but be captivated by the appearance of the ant city. "Remarkable," she whispered with a mix of awe and admiration. "The tribes my father once ruled have co this far in their advancents."

As Gideon continued towards the heart of the city, the princess took in the sight of the happy kingins and evolved ants going about their daily lives. She observed the complex building structures, the bustling markets, and the diligent evolved ants attending to various tasks. The harmony of their civilization left an impression on her.

In a mont of quiet reflection, the princess spoke again, "These people have built a thriving city. It's fascinating to witness how far they've co since the days my father's rule."

Gideon nodded, acknowledging the princess's words. "Indeed, it is all thanks to my liege. And with his gudience we shall continue to do so."

As they traversed the city, the princess continued to observe, silently marveling at the accomplishnts of the ant kingdom. The city's atmosphere was filled with a sense of purpose, each evolved ant playing a crucial role in the overall harmony of their society.

Inwardly, the princess mused, "I wonder exactly who this 'Liege' he speaks so proudly about is.

Perhaps, once I arrive and assert my dominance, everyone here will then have to follow my orders." She narrowed her gaze, a small mischievous glint in her eyes as she pondered further, "I can use their forces to search for the rest of the dragon kin that I picked up eariler and find one that will agree to take my hand in marriage so we can continue the dragon race.

Just a little more, and I will be completely healed."

Unbeknownst to Gideon, the princess's wounds were slowly healing, and she was planning to ambush Akun when she got the chance.

As Gideon arrived at the castle gates, he nodded at the guards stationed there, and they promptly opened the gates, granting him and the princess access to the castle. Gideon then slowly made his way into the castle, passing trough the grand hall. As he did, the princess couldn't help but silently admire the design and structure.

"Amazing, simply amazing," she thought to herself, taking in the intricacies of the castle. The marble floors beneath her were like a reflective surface, admired for their smoothness and reflective qualities. Her gaze then turned to the golden chandelier that hung overhead. "And the craftsmanship that was used to make gold shaped like that," she mused further.

"Those runes used to create so sort of lumination around it, the way the gold was made to curl around to hold it like that. It's all simply amazing."

As Gideon made his way to the throne room, his footsteps echoed in the grand halls. Upon arrival, he paused and confidently stated, "I want to have an audience with my liege."

One of the guards promptly responded, "Oh, I'm sorry, sir. You just missed him. Our liege stepped out a few minutes ago."

Gideon, with a hint of disappointnt in his voice, replied, "Oh, is that so."

Suddenly, a voice echoed in the hallway, "What is that about being out, and what is it you want to discuss, Gideon?"

In that mont, the dragon princess felt a familiar presence. Swiftly, she propelled herself out of Gideon's hands and flung herself a few feet back. Inwardly, she mused, "No way, it can't be." She began to tremble as she gazed at a man with silver hair, purple eyes, dressed in blue robes, approaching with two other people by his side.

The man gave off a peculiar presence, seeming to be a dragon and yet a god at the sa ti, along with a collection of other presences. His race was not identifiable.
