Chapter 350: Greater Devil & Danger

Without her support, the size of Liora’s body soon turned back to normal.

The injuries she had suffered quickly recovered, burning through her Indestructible Matter as a consumable.

However, Liora did not care about the consumption.

The moment she devoured the Demon God’s Cemetery, the demons transformed into Indestructible Matter with the help of her Manifestation.

It began to integrate with her body bit by bit, faster than ever before.

Fifty percent, sixty percent, niy percent...

In the blink of an eye, Liora’s entire body was glowing with a golden light.

As it subsided, her skin shimmered with an eerie glow while her bones glistened.

By devouring the demi-plane, the integration between her physical body and the Indestructible Matter had been completed.

Now, both her soul and body were covered in this substance, making her practically indestructible and immortal.

Most importantly, it signified something else.

Before even advancing to a Greater Devil, Liora had already completed the first two stages.

As long as she advanced, she would directly reach the third substage of the Greater Devil stage.

And that time was bound not to be far away.

Similar to the demons residing within the demi-plane, the Evil Spirits and the Ruins also burst once they entered her body.

They transformed into World Origin and flowed naturally under the World Devourer Method’s control, strengthening her at an astonishing rate.

Liora was no longer able to suppress her own advancement.

As her connection with the Land of Nothingness grew closer, her bloodline began to boil on its own.

Like a sea that had grown out of control, tsunami waves started to rage inside her body.

A faint clicking sound echoed.

The invisible weight on Liora’s shoulders vanished.

The world paused.

The movements of the Demon Sovereigns fighting outside abruptly halted, while even the descent of the two higher-worlds slowed down.

Standing amidst this silent and motionless world, Liora had the illusion that she had turned into the center of the universe.

No! It was not merely her illusion.

As her strength improved, the projection of the Land of Nothingness appeared above her head, and Liora entered a peculiar state.

Her eyes gained the ability to pass through the film of the world and stared outside, straight into the Origin Sea.

Countless lights flickered there. Some were close while others were far away, each representing a different world.

The lights stood silently, eternally unmoving as if they were the centerpieces of the multiverse.

That was, until Liora’s advancement to a Greater Devil.

Under her piercing gaze, the worlds scattered throughout the Origin Sea trembled.

White mist flowed out of them and rushed in her direction.

The mist was able to ignore distance.

Within an instant, it had arrived beside Liora and merged into her body.

Liora felt herself becoming comfortable, as if she had returned to the time in the River of Oblivion.

The rate at which her strength grew increased even further, as if every world in the Origin Sea was helping her advance.

Of course, Liora knew that this was not really true.

Rather than say that the worlds were helping her, it would be more accurate to say that she was the one plundering the worlds’ essence.

She didn’t care.

Her attention shifted inward, and she surveyed her current state, ensuring that nothing would go wrong.

Her advancement was not complicated.

She had long reached the peak of the True Devil stage, and her combat power was far beyond that stage.

Thus, unlike many True Devils who faced issues upon their advancement, she faced none.

Just like the previous advancements, becoming a Greater Devil was not only an improvement in strength but also a test.

During this process, the strength of the Devil’s physical body, the quality of their demonic energy, and the power of their own will would be tested.

Liora quickly passed through those tests.

Her body was integrated with Indestructible Matter and had become practically indestructible, while her demonic energy was extremely pure, having undergone several transformations.

Similarly, her experiences had made her will as solid as a rock. No matter how much pain she was in or how many illusions appeared in her eyes, they had no effect on her mind.

Liora did not know how much time had passed.

It could have been seconds, minutes, or even months.

Yet, suddenly, a deafening crashing sound came from within her body.

The lights of the worlds surrounding her retreated.

The projection of the Land of Nothingness vanished.

The several energies raging inside her body were quickly stabilized.

Before long, Liora opened her eyes once again.

She stood up and flexed her muscles, feeling the boundless power lurking within.

However, the improvement of strength was hardly the most important thing.

Liora was happy to find that she had undergone a bigger, more fundamental change, as if her very essence had transformed.

She had taken another leap in her life level.

Similar to how a caterpillar turned into a butterfly and its viewpoint changed, the way Liora looked at the world had also shifted.

Unfortunately, Liora had no time to admire the results of her advancement.

The moment she was about to familiarize herself with her state, the threat, which her intuition had been warning her about all this time, finally arrived.

Liora’s eyes turned cloudy, and a confused expression flashed across her face.

Without her permission, she was forced to enter her soul space—the space where her soul resided.

Instantly, the translucent Liora within that dark space opened her eyes.

This was her soul.

Compared to before, Liora could see that it had become many times more agile, and it was far easier to control.

As long as she was willing to pay a certain price, her soul could exist in the outside world for some time.

"Perhaps I can now even try to take over other people’s bodies.
