Chapter 700: Chapter 698: Flas, Transformation, and Rebirth
The Eternal Five New had just appeared when they beca the Eternal Four New. Now, with Scorpion Xin slain, the Eternal Four New has turned into the Eternal Three New.
The nations of Dragon Sleep Continent rejoiced.
Within the Eternal Frost Star, however, clouds of sorrow lood.
But none of these concerned Russell as he and the Shadowfla Dragon returned to Shadowfla Volcano and began their seclusion.
Together, one man and one dragon dove into the magma, descending deeper through the channels of magma connected to Shadowfla Volcano, lurking in the depths of the molten earth. The temperature gradually intensified to the point where even Russell and the Shadowfla Dragon could barely withstand it.
It was there that the man and the dragon began their true seclusion.
Ti passed unknowingly.
Russell also fell into a deep sleep.
In his dreams, he felt as if he had traversed endless ages, arriving at the very beginning of ti when Dragon Sleep Continent was still part of the Dragon Spirit Forest Sea. This place was a kaleidoscope of colors, with bizarre species erging one after another.
Without the Shadowfla Dragon, he wandered alone in the Dragon Spirit Forest Sea.
Suddenly, a great forest fire erupted, consuming all colors in sight, and Russell found himself trapped within the flas, unable to escape. Yet, he suffered no harm, and when the fire extinguished, he stood alone amidst the ashes.
Then ti flew swiftly by, and atop the ashes, colorful life blossod anew, rapidly reconstructing a fresh Dragon Spirit Forest Sea.
But the good tis did not last long as soon another fire arose, burning everything to the ground.
And so it went on, repeatedly.
The Dragon Spirit Forest Sea turned to ashes in the flas ti and ti again, and life sprang forth from the ashes over and over.
But Russell keenly noticed that, after each blaze, the species of the Dragon Spirit Forest Sea would change, evolving from an original spectrum of peculiar forms to a verdant green landscape.
Even humans ca into being within the forest, donning animal skins and leading a primitive lifestyle.
However, at this ti, the frequency of the fires greatly diminished.
In fact, after a long while, no more fires occurred, until the Snow Demon descended from the heavens, beginning to encase the entire Dragon Spirit Forest Sea in ice.
At that point, a great fire could no longer take place.
“Fire… is both a crisis and an opportunity. Every forest fire is a re-establishnt of order…” Standing on the snowfield, Russell suddenly understood: “Every forest fire in the Dragon Spirit Forest Sea was paving the way for the birth of humanity…”
Without these fires to eliminate the strange species, without the fires to create green forests, humans would never have been born.
But when the world turned to ice, human survival beca difficult. Yet, without more fires to help forge a new order.
“But there are dragons!” Russell looked down, feeling that beneath the snowfield, the Earth was brewing a more powerful and fierce forest fire. This blaze was destined to sweep away everything.
Boom!
The snowfield trembled beneath his feet, and then a volcano rose from the ground, with the Shadowfla Dragon flying out from within it.
“Roar!”
It roared, warmth spreading from the volcano in all directions, soon carving out a Volcanic Oasis in the snowfield.
Tribes of primitive humans ran over, settling in this Volcanic Oasis.
The Shadowfla Dragon and Russell looked at each other from afar. Eyes are the windows to the soul, and in this mont, Russell knew that the Shadowfla Dragon facing him was, like himself, imrsed in a dreamscape, lost in the perception of rules.
The Shadowfla Dragon slowly approached.
Russell smiled, then leaped up, his body expanding continually until it was perfectly sized to ride on the back of the Shadowfla Dragon.
“Shadowfla, together we will usher in the Warm Age!”
“Roar!”
Man and dragon united, and Shadowfla Volcano erupted with unprecedented warmth. The warmth radiated across the entire Dragon Sleep Continent, snowfields receded, forests expanded, and human footprints rapidly covered the entire world.
Dragon Sleep Continent had once again been restored to the Dragon Spirit Forest Sea.
Russell rode the Shadowfla Dragon, wandering through this brand-new Dragon Spirit Forest Sea. He softly remarked, “Shadowfla, this is the purpose of our existence, isn’t it?”
“ROAR!”
“Only this ti, the destruction of Dragon Sleep Continent is certain, and we must forge the Warm Age in a new world.”
As they spoke, a man and a dragon raised their heads, looking up at the sky.
Above the sky, an amber-colored great tree was growing vigorously, reaching towards the sun, towards the moon, towards the starry sky overhead.
“Let’s go, Shadowfla.” Russell waved his hand, and man and dragon charged toward the Amber Great Tree atop the sky, “Ice Cream represents the Dreamscape Ancient Dragon – dreams, hope, and the future, while we are the Fla Ancient Giant Dragon, signifying fla, transformation, and rebirth!”
He paused for a mont.
He laughed heartily, “Ice Cream and Shadowfla, they represent the new world, and I, Russell, represent the master of the new world!”
BOOM!
All the dreams and illusions dissipated.
Russell and the Shadowfla Dragon awoke from the depths of the magma, transforming into blazing flas. In an instant, they burst out of the Shadowfla Volcano.
Turning into a pillar of magma hundreds of ters high, continuously erupting outward.
At this mont, it was not only the Shadowfla Volcano that began to erupt; all the dragon volcanoes began to erupt, even the extinct ones like ltingfire, Ice Crystal, starlight, Darkfla… and many others also started to spew forth.
This spectacle caught the attention of various nations.
The dragons flew out of the volcanoes, perching atop the craters, deeply feeling the changes in their own volcanoes, and then all turned toward the direction of the Shadowfla Kingdom.
The dragons had already felt it, the ultimate warmth erging from the depths of the magma, amplifying the radiating power of the volcanoes. Within the borders radiated by the volcano, there had been vast Snowfields; those Snowfields were now lting, turning into lands of warmth.
From then on.
Within all the ranges radiated by the volcanoes, the power of Frost Snow could no longer touch a single inch.
Even more so, places such as the Snow Forest and Cold Spring Point atop the snow plains also began to thaw, revealing long-lost earth.
“What’s going on?” A group of Knights resting at Cold Spring Point, looking at the rushing ltwater overhead, were dumbfounded, “It seems like the temperature has suddenly risen by more than ten degrees, and the ice cavern above our heads is about to shatter!”
“Outside, outside!” The sentinel Knight jumped into the Cold Spring Point, loudly reporting, “The Ice and Snow Great Wall has lted!”
The Knights hurriedly packed their belongings and fled Cold Spring Point.
As they had just escaped, the massive ice cavern that was Cold Spring Point collapsed thunderously, quickly turning into a vast expanse of water.
After the water flowed away to the surroundings, bare earth was already visible.
And at a rate visible to the naked eye, grass sprouted, green spreading patch by patch, adding bursts of vibrant life to the barren land.
“What’s this situation?” The captain of the Knights scratched his helt, completely bewildered, “Why has the Snowfield lted? Has soone ascended as a Dragon Domain Lord here, or has a Bipedal Flying Dragon been born?”
This kind of bewildernt filled the entire Dragon Sleep Continent.
In the Amber Council, argunts were heating up, as ssages compiled from various nations indicated that the temperature across the entirety of Dragon Sleep Continent had simultaneously risen by more than ten degrees, especially around the Snowfields bordering the nations, where the ice caps had completely lted.
“It was His Majesty Russell!” King Ares spoke, “Gentlen, just take a look at the Shadowfla Kingdom and you will know!”
“What has happened to the Shadowfla Kingdom?”
“All the Bipedal Flying Dragons have ignited!” Baron Roman replied as he rode on a Bipedal Flying Dragon ablaze with fire, landing at the entrance to the Amber Council hall, “His Highness Shadowfla’s power has broken the shackles, and with it, all Bipedal Flying Dragons have also shattered the shackles of Dragon Breath!”
He beckoned to the burning Ros the Clay Dragon only to see Ros turn directly into a fla, branding itself on Baron Roman’s forehead.
Forming a burning fla mark.
Baron Roman laughed heartily, “The Dragon Breath shackles on the Bipedal Flying Dragons are shattered, and next, they can grow into Phantom Dragons!”
