323: Chapter 190: Life and Death Sword Intent, Thunder Fla Soul Liquid

Soul Consciousness, journeying through heaven and earth.

Unaffected by void, free from all shackles.

It was as if he were in a place shrouded in darkness, one side heaven, the other hell.

As though the soul were separated from the flesh, as in that ultimate mont between life and death, like a final reflection upon life while lingering at death’s door.

Zhou Yan had journeyed through heaven and earth with his Soul Consciousness before, but never had he felt as profoundly as he did now.

Zhou Yan thought about it, and his Soul Consciousness suddenly returned to his body, which instantly “ca to life,” and all the strange sensations imdiately vanished.

Right then, the Soul Consciousness left the body again, and the body seed to have fallen into a viscous liquid, unable to struggle, while the Soul Consciousness felt a stillness washing over it.

Zhou Yan, with his Soul Consciousness, looked back at himself and saw his own body, appearing to be imrsed in deep slumber, utterly tranquil.

His Soul Consciousness hovered beside his own body, watching himself, and then, he casually called out to White Fox, but it was as if she couldn’t hear him at all, her gaze still fixed on the spots his Soul Consciousness had breezed over previously.

“Bai Ying, can you hear my ntal ssage?”

Zhou Yan’s Soul Consciousness transmitted the ssage.

Yet, Bai Ying still showed no response.

Zhou Yan called out a few more tis, but still received no answer, as if his soul had left his body and he could no longer communicate normally with others.

Zhou Yan pondered for a mont, and then his Soul Consciousness gazed out upon this universe.

The universe seen through the Soul Consciousness was different.

In the world of the Soul Consciousness, the sea was not the sea, but the power of the Soul Consciousness.

Endless power of the Soul Consciousness.

Under the vast energy of the Soul Consciousness power, deep within the Soul Sea, lay a Clear Spring that gently exuded streams of milky-white liquid, which in this land of desolation, radiated an endless and terrifying vitality.

Just by “seeing” it, Zhou Yan felt as if his Soul Consciousness had consud a greatly nourishing elixir, experiencing profound relief.

Soul Consciousness is the awareness of the soul.

Upon reaching the Sword Soul Realm, the soul transforms consciousness into sothing as tangible as the body, creating an intimate connection with the soul, forming the Soul Consciousness.

After the recovery of Zhou Yan’s True Self and the imnse strength of his soul, his Soul Consciousness beca exceedingly powerful.

But here, his Soul Consciousness was still weak, simply incomparable to that of the Soul Sea.

It was like a firefly against the blazing sun, with no basis for comparison.

Zhou Yan saw the Soul Sea and the Clear Spring within, as well as the milky-white liquid; he naturally attained enlightennt.

He knew this had to be the true essence, perhaps even the essence of the Soul Consciousness condensed into liquid form.

But his Soul Consciousness could not penetrate the Soul Sea; entering there would be like a drop rging into the ocean, wherein life might persist, but it might no longer be himself.

Zhou Yan cald himself, not drawn by the allure of the milky-white liquid, instead continuing to sense.

In such sensing, he discovered countless Secret Treasures here.

Yet, although his heart was moved, he did not covet them greedily.

He was very calm.

Only when his Soul Consciousness began to tire did Zhou Yan stop sensing and instead stood about three ters in front of his body.

He thought it over and decided it was ti to communicate with those eyes.

He had to know the purpose for which the beam of light had brought him here.

Therefore, Zhou Yan suddenly spoke into the Void, “Senior, do you have any unfulfilled desires?

Or, why exactly did you bring

here?”

Zhou Yan questioned the heavens.

Heaven had its Tao.

There was creation and destruction, for heaven indeed had eyes.

Because heaven truly had a pair of eyes.

And the fact that White Fox couldn’t sense his Soul Consciousness indicated that only his Soul Consciousness could exist here.

Indeed, between heaven and earth, a pair of eyes erged.

Those eyes were also in a state of Soul Consciousness, yet this state possessed a tiless Divinity, imnsely grand and imnsely majestic.

These were inexplicable eyes.

But these eyes were more majestic, beautiful, ancient, and profound than any eyes Zhou Yan had ever seen.

Nothing could compare to such a pair of eyes; all others would fade before them!

Though these eyes did not target Zhou Yan specifically, beneath their gaze his Soul Consciousness instinctively trembled, struggling to resist the urge to kneel and kowtow in worship.

Yet Zhou Yan forcefully held back, feeling as if the mark of Thunder on his Soul Consciousness Body’s forehead was burning intensely, rekindling, heating up and glowing!

Zhou Yan didn’t look back at his physical body, for he was locked in by the imnse authority of Divinity, completely devoid of any power to resist.

But this divine authority didn’t carry murderous intent – it seed more the aura of a high-level being as opposed to targeted aggression.

“Do you not rember?”

The eyes conveyed a very faint breath, ancient, vast; although seemingly suppressed to the extre, the voice almost shattered Zhou Yan’s Soul Consciousness.

Such a voice held a frighteningly lethal power.

Zhou Yan consolidated the Bloodline Power of his flesh, igniting limitless potential, allowing his Soul Consciousness to recover to its peak state.

He then envisioned his Sword-shaped Soul, contemplated the Origin of the universe and the initial opening of heaven and earth, enabling all twelve of his Sword Spirits to manifest their strongest aspect within his body, barely offsetting the impact of that voice.

“You are too weak.”

The ssage from those eyes carried an endless sense of disappointnt.

Such disappointnt was akin to the way his grandfather looked at him with disenchantnt when Zhou Yan was still na??ve.
