With their strongest fighter wounded, the remaining Han clan disciples began to fall.
"Young master, save !"
"Help, AH!!!"
One by one they were hacked down while Han Suwen and Han iyi were already locked with the 9th Flaming Cloud disciples.
He was using a dagger and blocked their path, and before they could break free from the fight, all of their mbers were dead and they were surrounded.
"You..." Han Suwen stepped up to protect Han iyi.
"If I’m not mistaken, you must be the young master of the Han clan. But since you are that weak, you must be the second son." She had seen Han Shi fight, and there was no way that monster was the sa as this weakling before her.
"If you step forward, I’m not afraid to drag you down with ," Han Suwen threatened them.
He prepared to burn his life away if it ant saving his wife this ti.
When she faced the demon who proclaid himself as the miracle doctor’s disciple, he was too late to help.
Even now, with the secret mission that their clan was helping the miracle doctor, he still wanted to use the opportunity to kill the man who scarred his wife for life.
Until that fateful day, no one would dare touch his wife!
"You? Hahaha! If you had that kind of conviction, you should have used it before."
Yue Hai, while still bleeding, couldn’t keep the laughter to herself. If that boy had really been willing to burn his life away to fight, he would have done so before the situation turned this bad. Now, even if he tried, every mber of her unit would kill him on the spot.
"My father wouldn’t let this go!" he shouted. He might be the second, weaker son, not even the heir, but his father’s love was sothing he was sure of. It might not be like Luo Chen, who gave everything to his daughter, but his father and his brother were still family n.
If sothing happened to him, then it would be a death sentence for his enemies too!
"That’s why we won’t kill you. But the girl behind you, that might be different."
Even if they had reasons, killing the son of a powerful clan was too much.
The strong dictated the weak.
No matter how right they were, this confrontation couldn’t involve the boy.
But that was only while their sect master remained in seclusion.
After he ca out, all this ss would be paid in full!
"Don’t you dare!" Han Suwen tried to charge in, but Han iyi stopped him and shook her head.
She then stepped forward, sword straight.
"Try , and I promise, one of you is going to die."
There was no fear in her eyes, for she had already considered death once.
She knew this was the end, but with her death, she already had soone who would carry on her wish, the man she was willing to spend her life living with, or at least the short ti they had.
"Hahaha!!" Yue Hai laughed. "Kill her."
With a single command, all the remaining disciples charged forward.
"No, no!!" Han Suwen shouted.
At that mont before death, she did not falter and with all her might, struck forward!
Flashing Firefly!
Boom!!
A loud explosion appeared and blasted one of the disciples into burning corpse.
"Huh?" But that wasn’t her technique at all.
Yue Hai instinctively scread, "Who’s there?!" She looked in the direction the fla had co from, but then it ca from the other way instead.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
All the disciples dropped one by one, and the survivors were burned alive.
The flas ca from all around them, as if they were being surrounded.
"Xiao Ji, find the culpr— Dodge!!" She turned to her right-hand man at the 9th stage but then saw an incoming ball of fire and warned him.
Xiao Ji, with his speed, dodged the fire and rushed toward that direction to find the attacker, but he t a silver line flashing through the air.
Sky Piercer!
With his power level, he twisted his body, boosted by heat, and turned his head away in an instant, letting the silver spear narrowly pass him.
"But what are you going to do against the second one?"
A cold voice sounded as another white spear shot forward and stabbed through his body.
"!!!" The spear was coated with venom, spreading as it paralyzed Xiao Ji’s body.
Hope flickered in Han Suwen’s eyes. "Reinforcents!"
"No..." His hope was cut short, and his wife’s hand began to shake.
They all stared at the figure erging from the shadows of the pines, a cruel smile playing on his lips and a playful swirl of fire dancing on his palm as if it were alive.
"Long ti no see, my dear cousin," Wu Han said, his voice dripping with sincere mockery.
His gaze then slid to Yue Hai. "And you must be the big sister of that woman. What was her na again? Lin...? Lin!"
He laughed, a sound devoid of any warmth.
"You..." Han iyi’s voice was a strangled whisper.
The man who kept haunting her nightmares had suddenly appeared, making her body shiver.
But the effect on Yue Hai was the opposite.
"YOU!!!" she scread, all thoughts of the Han clan evaporating.
She launched herself at Wu Han, turned her greatsword a cot of rage, burning her own life as fuel.
Unlike Han Suwen’s baseless conviction, she knew instantly who this was, the man who had turned her dear sister into a living bomb, and she was going to kill him.
"DIE, WU HAN!!!"
The sword blazed into an inferno, its embers igniting the trees into ash.
But Wu Han only smiled, as hellfire burned with life and rage, everything of the 9th stage cultivator descending on him.
Defending against this was impossible, and he would die attempting it.
Yue Hai made the right move. It was just that she had put herself in too much risk.
"Now."
Slash!
A red arc of light cut through the forest as Hong Qing’s body appeared from thin air.
And severed Yue Hai’s head instantly.
