It had been a while since Lu Tianxin spent ti with her cousin, Tang Moyu with her circle of friends. She even missed Li ili and Gu Yuyao's funny interaction at tis. At tis like this, when she was with them, Lu Tianxin could forget her worries back ho and how incompetent she was as a wife.
As soon as she pulled her car into the private resort where she was supposed to et the girls, she was greeted by one of the staff and led her inside. Lu Tianxin looked around impressed on how the resort looked. It was more like a vacation ho of the Song family in her opinion as it had a vast garden and a pool where she could hear familiar voices.
"Hey, Tianxin. You are late today. What's up?" Li ili ca out from the pool in her black one piece swimsuit, taking her towel from the bench and started patting herself dry.
"I needed to do so errands," Lu Tianxin responded, her eyes catching the other won conversing in the pool. Tang Moyu spotted her and gave her a smile. It was rare even for Lu Tianxin to see the empress so laid back like this.
Tang Moyu was accompanied by Gu Yuyao, Lin Qianrou, and another woman she couldn't recognize. Gu Yuyao flashed a warm grin towards Lu Tianxin when she saw her.
Following Lu Tianxin's curious gaze, Li ili introduced the other woman to her.
"That's my new sister-in-law, ng Yanran. She's also working at Xiao Xing with Moyu and Tianyi and also Qian's maternal cousin."
Lu Tianxin nodded in understanding. The news about Li ili's brother getting married had been a topic within the business world along with Yun Zhen's marriage with Su Jingyi. She took a seat next to Li ili on the lounge chair while the latter ordered drinks for the two of them.
"You should change and join us in the pool before the sun sets," Li ili told her.
"I didn't think you all were serious when you said you wanted to go to the beach," Lu Tianxin chuckled. Thankfully, she brought an appropriate garnt with her to use.
"Ha! You should have heard how Feng Tianyi tried to buy a whole island in Thailand when he heard Moyu said she wanted to do a sumr escapade sowhere. So frivolous if I may say." Li ili shook her head but she should have known better that the devil could go overboard when it ca to doting on his wife.
"I assu Moyu was able to talk so sense to him?"
Li ili laughed at the question.
"The man doesn't know the limit when it cos to Moyu. Of course, Moyu stopped him. It would be such a waste to buy a tropical island just to prove his devotion to her." Then again, Li ili was the one to talk when she also had a husband who was willing to spend a million dollars just for her not to cry.
Lu Tianxin laughed with her. At least, she didn't have to worry about her cousin now that Feng Tianyi was around.
It didn't take long as the other girls ca out of the pool and joined them for a drink. Lu Tianxin then noticed the slight bump on Tang Moyu's stomach indicating that she was already on her second trister of her pregnancy.
As to why she and Feng Tianyi decided to hold their wedding ceremony, Lu Tianxi thought that maybe because the two felt it was long overdue. With the problems regarding the Tang and Zhang family already settled, there wouldn't be any danger posed towards the family of four.
"Yanran, make sure not to drink any alcohol for your baby's sake," Lin Qianrou reminded her cousin, and it broke Lu Tianxin from her trance.
"Oh, you are pregnant?" Gu Yuyao gasped. "Congratulations!" she said while the others followed her lead and greeted ng Yanran.
ng Yanran blushed and thanked them.
"Thank you," she smiled bashfully. "I still couldn't believe a miracle like this would happen." She unconsciously rubbed her still flat stomach. She and Li Yuanyi weren't planning to get married soon, but the mont they found out she was pregnant, Li Yuanyi had to settle so things to make sure the Li family wouldn't deny his child his na.
Lu Tianxin arched her brow, not understanding what she ant.
"I told you, you aren't barren. You shouldn't believe that ex-husband of yours when he blad you for his cheating," Lin Qianrou scoffed.
"Heh. Just imagine him raising a child that isn't his," Li ili snorted. "I'm still tempted to bash his ugly face. He better pray to whatever deity not to cross paths with ."
"You always think beating shit out of soone would settle the problem, ili." Gu Yuyao laughed and took a sip from her smoothie. "Have you ever thought of sothing else aside from inflicting pain to soone?" she asked the Black Nightingale.
Li ili shrugged and thanked the waiter who ca to give their drinks and left at once when he was done.
"I dunno. Aside from jumping on my husband, nothing interests these days. It's really hard to convince him to have another child. Say, could there be a better position to easily get pregnant?"
"Ahh, ili!" Tang Moyu exclaid, covering half of her face with one hand. "I don't need to know how you bang my brother. I think I need brain bleach."
The rest of the won laughed at the empress's reaction. They all knew how uncomfortable Tang Moyu could be when the topic was about their s.e.x lives now that they are married won.
