"I just rembered. Little Star said you made her cry earlier, Miss Gu." The devil rested his chin at the back of his hand and gave Gu Yuyao a lazy smile.
Gu Yuyao shivered under his cold gaze. This crazy bastard. He hadn't even gotten Tang Moyu, but he was acting like an overreacting freak about her children. Soone, please remind her again why she shouldn't sell this devil out to Tang Moyu!
"Brother Tianyi, I didn't intend to make her cry, alright. Spare this once, oh Great Demon Lord," she said with sarcasm.
When Tang Moyu ca back to the gazebo with her children, she noticed the awkward but intense atmosphere between Qin Jiran and Gu Yuyao. Her friend seed to be annoyed about sothing, while Qin Jiran was calmly sipping his newly brewed tea.
"Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Is everything alright?" She asked the two while the two little buns ran towards Qin Jiran and offered to help him push his wheelchair back to the guest house for lunch. The man naturally accepted their offer. The children love to do this, so why wouldn't he oblige?
Every weekend, it had beca a routine for the four of them to spend their mornings in the garden, have lunch at the guest house and then relax for the rest of the day. Tang Moyu would usually take an afternoon nap with her children while Qin Jiran busied himself with his writing.
Fortunately for him, he still kept the original outline he drafted, so it wasn't too difficult to recall what he had written in the manuscript he'd lost during the incident at the cafeteria with the twins. Song Fengyan wouldn't need to worry about him missing his deadline as Feng Tianyi was confident he would be able to finish everything on ti.
However, from now on, it seed like Feng Tianyi's peaceful days were over because Gu Yuyao would be staying at Peach Blossom Garden until god knows when. He wasn't pleased that he had to share Tang Moyu's attention with soone else when she was at ho.
The Empress had gotten busier these days because she had officially taken over the managent of Tang Enterprise. Now that Gu Yuyao was here, her responsibilities would be lessened, but Feng Tianyi had to endure seeing his distant cousin until she moved out.
"I'm curious, since when did you know each other? You seem very close." Feng Tianyi asked them during lunch.
"Oh, I t Yuyao at Wharton when I was taking my masters there. She was the one who helped around, as I wasn't familiar with the place." Tang Moyu answered.
"Yes, Mr. Qin. Sister Moyu and I are really close~" Gu Yuyao sang out, much to the devil's chagrin. "We stuck together through thick and thin during our stay in Wharton."
Feng Tianyi felt the fish slide down his throat and he coughed hard on his hand upon witnessing such a shaless scene. He took several gulps of his drink to clear his throat and looked at Tang Moyu, who had a deep shade of blush on her cheeks.
He could feel a vein-popping out of his head from anger. This woman was really testing his patience today! Feng Tianyi then decided that he needed to convince Tang Moyu to kick Gu Yuyao out before he he snaps and commit bloody murder.
"Yuyao! What are you doing?!" Tang Moyu shrieked and imdiately freed herself from Gu Yuyao's hold before apologizing to Qin Jiran for her friend's attitude. She should have expected that Gu Yuyao would act like this and not care how people react to it.
Gu Yuyao released the empress's chest and continued with her al, obviously aware of how the devil was glaring daggers at her. Thankfully, the two little buns were done with their al and were currently playing with their toy blocks in the living area so they weren't able to see how their Auntie Yaoyao groped their mother's chest.
"How about the two of you? Since when did you know each other? Sister Moyu never told that there's a man living in her guest house."
"That's none of your concern," was what Feng Tianyi wanted to tell Gu Yuyao, but he bit his tongue. He didn't want Tang Moyu to see him being harsh to her friends or guests no matter how much they annoy him.
"I t her children first, then we made a business deal." He said nonchalantly, hoping that Gu Yuyao would drop her questions. Since the woman knew that she couldn't drive him out to leave Tang Moyu, Gu Yuyao chose the other option, which was; to annoy the devil to death!
"So how co you ended up living here? Are you two dating?" She took a spoonful of her ice cream and ate it with glee.
Feng Tianyi raised a brow at her. He noticed that Tang Moyu was refusing to et their gazes at this mont.
"Yuyao, I think your imagination's a little too active today. There's nothing between and Qin Jiran. He's also my guest, so I hope you will treat him nicely." She told Gu Yuyao.
Feng Tianyi was left flabbergasted by her words. He couldn't understand why Tang Moyu was treating him like this.
Why did he feel like she was treating him like a stranger now? No, in fact, this was worse the first ti she'd t him. He'd thought that the ti they spent with each other was enough for her to treat him as her friend, if not, an acquaintance.
