Seeing three attractive people at the sa ti was truly a sight to behold. Tang Moyu, along with Li ili and Zhang Jiren were oblivious to the stares people were throwing their way. Each of them was attractive and charming on their own. While Tang Moyu and Zhang Jiren had a cold expression on their faces, Li ili's smile was enough to dispel the awkward atmosphere around them.

Tang Moyu looked at her twin brother and best friend, aware that the two were able to settle their problems. She had been observing the two since they arrived. She didn't miss the smile that appeared on Zhang Jiren's face when he looked at Li ili. Seeing them treating each other well, finding happiness with each other was enough for the empress.

More guests had arrived and amongst them were the other popular families from Beijing. It was obvious that they didn't mind flying to Shenzhen just to attend the banquet the Song family was hosting for the first ti in years.

It was also not surprising seeing the Zhang family attending the event with Zhang Liang representing the company. Feng Tianhua, whom Tang Moyu hadn't seen nor heard for months since his divorce with Xing Yiyue, also arrived to represent Feng Conglorate.

"What are they doing here? What a waste of invitations." Li ili frowned when she saw the two arrived almost at the sa ti. She could also tell that neither Tang Moyu nor Zhang Jiren wanted to deal with those n.

"I have no control as to who would be invited or not, ili," Tang Moyu replied. If it were her, she certainly wouldn't invite those troublemakers to attend, but she was aware of her place within the Song family and wouldn't dare to question Song Huifen's decision.

"Just ignore them, ili. We didn't co here for them anyway," Zhang Jiren reminded his wife. He was also aware of how Zhang Liang was glaring their way, but he'd rather not think about the Zhang family right now. He already stepped down from the company, and he expected that Zhang Liang would be himself, brag about himself and commit a mistake later on.

It was what Zhang Jiren and Feng Tianyi were waiting for the man to do before they could proceed with their plan. He glanced at his twin sister's face, wondering if she would be able to accept the truth behind their mother's death.

It was Feng Tianyi who found out first and only inford him about it, asking him to verify the information he got in Nanjing because the devil couldn't leave his family behind without making Tang Moyu suspicious of him.

"Ha! Zhang Liang must be really glad that you resigned, Jiren," Li ili huffed seeing the man laugh arrogantly as he spoke to the other guests. He wouldn't dare approach them, though, in fear that he would offend the Song family by making a scene at Song Huifen's birthday banquet.

As part of the Song family, Tang Moyu was supposed to greet their guests, but she didn't make any indication that she wanted to greet Zhang Liang and Feng Tianhua. Unfortunately for them, Tang Moyu didn't care what others thought of her at that mont.

Tang Moyu shook her head and looked at her brother. It couldn't be helped. When Zhang Jiren told her that he was going to leave Zhang Corporation after his first surgery, she willingly gave her approval.

Initially, they were planning to take down the Zhang family from the inside just like what she had done in Tang Enterprise, but it wouldn't be possible anymore. But Tang Moyu knew that her brother's health was more important than their revenge.

Revenge could wait, but her brother's treatnt couldn't be delayed any longer. If they happened to discover his illness too late, Tang Moyu wouldn't be able to forgive herself for neglecting her brother.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt sowhere?" Jiren heard his twin sister ask, looking at him worriedly. With his next surgery approaching, it was normal for his sister to be worried about him.

Zhang Jiren's lips curled up. He used to think that Tang Moyu wouldn't accept him as her brother, that he would never experience what it feels like to have a sibling he could rely on. However, as he looked at Tang Moyu now, he still couldn't believe that his life would turn out for the better.

"Jiren, if you feel sothing is wrong, you have to tell and ili imdiately," Tang Moyu insisted. His next surgery had been scheduled, but until then, Zhang Jiren would still feel the symptoms of the tumor adding pressure to his brain.

How many tis had he thought that it was just a simple headache that would go away on its own? Knowing her brother, Tang Moyu wouldn't be surprised if he endured everything on his own. He probably kept it to himself by not telling anyone about his condition until the symptoms persisted.

'Ah, Moyu! He always claid he's feeling just fine. I sotis don't know whether he was telling the truth or not," Li ili grumbled, hooking her arms with the empress's before shooting her husband a glare.

"That's because I'm fine, ili," he said before turning to face his sister. "Jie, you worry too much. I've been feeling well these days," Zhang Jiren said in defense which was true. He hadn't felt anything bad and hoped that he would be able to recover soon for their sake. Now that he and Li ili were together, he had no reason anymore to refuse getting treatnts.

For the first ti, he wanted sothing for himself and not for other people. He wanted to recover and get well soon, so he would be able to spend more ti with his wife and Leyan. He didn't want to make his family worry about him anymore.

Now that he wasn't working at the Zhang Corporation anymore and just waiting for the day of his next surgery, Zhang Jiren had been spending most of his ti with Li ili and their daughter at ho.
