"Miss Moyu, you know you don't have to co here personally to thank us. We should be the ones to thank you for all the things you have done for our shelter." Jia Yuntao said as they helped to unload the supplies the other staff had brought earlier.
"It's not a bother at all, Mr. Jia. I'm aware that Tianxin and I haven't co here for months. This is the least we can do now that the shelter is doing well on its own." The empress replied, helping the old man pull the crate filled with vegetables and crops from the van.
"I also heard from Tianxin that you are facing harassnt from the local gang around the area. Do you need help dealing with them?" She inquired.
The old man shook his head.
"No, this is sothing we can deal with on our own. They try to harass us for money ever since they heard we were being sponsored by Tang Enterprise. Now that the company has perished, of course the support we were receiving stopped the mont you left the company." Jia Yuntao explained the current situation of the shelter.
"But don't worry about us, Miss Moyu. We will manage sohow. So of the patrons that used to co and stay here have managed to get employed, courtesy of the program you and Miss Lu started." He added.
"About that, one of the reasons why Tianyi and I co here is to post a job listing. You see, our newest company is about to open a branch here in Shenzhen. I'm looking to procure so talented workers like Mr. Yan." Tang Moyu announced her intention.

Just as they reached the alley leading to the back entrance of the shelter, they were obstructed by the sa local gang that had been terrorizing the shelter. Tang Moyu narrowed her eyes and stepped forward, protecting the older man from danger.
"Old Man, you are overstaying on our turf and have been failing to pay us. Don't you think it's been long overdue?" The tallest of the n, who looked like the leader of the group, spoke to Jia Yuntao with annoyance. He was holding a baseball bat in one hand that carelessly rested over his shoulders, giving him a more nacing look.
But the empress knew that he was only trying to intimidate Jia Yuntao and the staff of the shelter.
"Our shelter owes you nothing, Mister. We don't want to cause trouble, but that doesn't an we'll allow you to make a scene here. Please leave before we call the authorities and never co back." Jia Yuntao said calmly, which only made Tang Moyu aware that this was probably not the first ti that these people tried to harass and intimidate the shelter to do their bidding.
"Ah! Ah! Ah!" Another man from the gang shook his forefinger at Jia Yuntao."That's not how it works here, old man. It's either you pay as or you would suffer under our fists."
Tang Moyu had enough of this nonsense already. Do they really think they look cool by bullying an old man? They were over a dozen heads and they were trying to pick a fight with Jia Yuntao? Weren't they ashad of themselves?
"Enough." She said with a pointed glare. "I've had enough listening to clowns pretending to be a.d.u.l.ts. The only ones who would suffer are all of you if you insist on trespassing this property." She warned him.
The leader of the gang snorted and gave her a head to toe look, his eyes turned l.u.s.tful when he realized how beautiful the empress was.
"Darling, why don't you step aside and let us deal with that old man, huh? What can a beauty like you do anyway?"
Tang Moyu tried not to roll her eyes. Why was it that so idiots think that just because she was a woman, she needed to play the damsel in distress role?
However, she was also aware that it would be hard for her to deal with over a dozen n on her own. Glancing to her side, she caught the bodyguard that she and Feng Tianyi brought with them. They were on stand by and just waiting for their lady boss's command.

These n were directly working under Song Huifen and had been assigned to look after the devil and his family. They were given a strict order to not only protect Feng Tianyi, but also Tang Moyu and the future heirs of the Song family.
The group of n were taken aback from the sudden appearance of the bodyguards. How co they didn't notice their presence earlier when they arrived? They thought. Looking towards the empress, they only realized that the woman standing next to Jia Yuntao wasn't a simple person.
"Teach them a lesson they would never forget." The nacing coldness in Tang Moyu's eyes sent shivers down the spines of those who heard her. "I want to see who would suffer after this."
At those words, a rumble behind the shelter started. Jia Yuntao glanced at Tang Moyu, who remained silent throughout the brawl.
