Little Star blinked and nodded blankly in response. The man was really tall, like her daddy, and his eyes were the sa color as hers. It was really impossible for her not to notice him. She must be wandering too far from her Auntie i, as she couldn't see her anywhere.

"Looking for a gift too?" The man asked curiously.

Little Star hesitated to answer for a mont, because she rembered her mommy and daddy's words about eting a stranger. She should talk to them politely, but she can't accept anything from them even if they were sweet candies and chocolates.

But looking at this handso uncle, Little Star felt she didn't need to overthink like her twin brother.

"En, my brother and I are looking for a gift for my mommy's birthday." She answered. "But I couldn't find one."

"Oh, what a coincidence. I'm also looking for a gift too." The man replied with a gentle smile on his lips. "My birthday is coming soon, but it seems like everyone forgot about it already."

Little Star looked at him with shock, then the end of her lips pointed down in disp.l.e.a.s.u.r.e. How could it possibly be? Even if a person didn't have so many friends or family, there should be at least one who rembered his special day.

"So you are here to buy yourself a gift?" She asked him.

"You can say that. This music box looks very nice, but it's a little girly in my opinion." The man opened a small wooden box and a soft tune imdiately played.

Little Star's eyes widened in surprise. It was such a beautiful sight. Her mommy might like sothing like this, but this handso uncle was the first one who found it. Was there any other music box left for her to buy?

Seeing her conflicted expression, the handso uncle couldn't help but ask her.

"What's wrong? Can I help you with sothing?" He then followed her gaze and saw that she'd been staring at the music box in his hands. "You want this?"

"But Uncle found it first. I have to look for another gift, I guess." Little Star pursed her lips and decided to go back to her Auntie i. Auntie i must be wondering where she was right now, she might even be frantically looking for her.

The man looked at her saddened face, then at the music box in his hand before a smile spread on his lips.

"Little Miss, why don't you take this music box instead? I think your mother would really love it." He suggested.

Little Star eyed the music box in his hands for a mont and shook her head.

"But Mister, you are the one who found it first. Didn't you say you are buying a gift for yourself?"

"I can find another one on my own." The man shrugged before bending forward, placing the music box gently on Little Star's hands. "But you need this more than I do." He told her.

Little Star bit her lip and nodded.

"Then uncle, Little Star would be taking this then." She was about to turn and leave when she rembered sothing. From her small pink bag, she pulled out a bar of expensive chocolate and handed it to the handso stranger.

"Here. Please take this. My mommy said I can't accept candies from strangers, but she didn't say I couldn't give them one."

The man seed to be caught off guard by her words and accepted her offering in one hand willingly.

"Happy birthday, Uncle! May you have many years to co!" Little Star bead him a smile before thanking him once again for his help.

Little Star scampered away, holding the music box against her c.h.e.s.t like her life depended on it. She finally found a decent gift for her mommy! She couldn't wait to see her mommy's reaction once she received it.

Anyway, she needed to find her Auntie i first, because she wasn't sure how long she'd been missing. She was just in ti and saw her aunt asking for help from one of the security personnel to look for her.

"Auntie i!" Little Star called out excitedly as she ran towards her godmother.

"Oh my God, Little Star! You gave your Auntie i a good scare!" Li ili t her halfway and lifted her up from the ground and checked the girl for any signs of injury. "Where did you go? Auntie was so worried! Are you alright?"

Li ili didn't know how to explain it to her best friend and the devil if she really lost Little Star today. She wouldn't be able to forgive herself if harm befell her godchild.

"I'm sorry, Auntie i. I didn't an to make you worry, but I think I found my gift for my mommy!" Little Star said, then she showed her godmother what she found earlier.

She wasn't sure how much it would cost her to buy this small music box, but she rembered her daddy giving her a card to use to pay for her purchases earlier. For a child who never knew the concept of credit cards, Little Star wondered how a small card could pay for her gift.

"Ah, Little Star! This is really nice! Why don't we pay it already at the cashier and ask them to wrap the gift for you?" Li ili suggested.

The little girl nodded her head frantically. "Yes, please!"

anwhile, the sa man Little Star t earlier went down to the parking space and was greeted by his secretary. He opened the door of the backseat and allowed a handso stranger, who was wearing a dark grey business suit to enter.

"Young Master, it's almost ti for us to visit Chairman Zhang." The assistant said after he took the driver's seat.

The man sitting on the backseat humd and looked at the chocolate bar in his hand and thought that the little girl earlier resembled her mother so much.
