The bar opened just in ti as the regular patrons ca in one by one. It was still early and only a few seats were occupied, so Madam Rong and ng Yanran didn't need to worry at the mont.

However, they both know that the place will be packed later. Madam Rong's husband was busy fixing their service vehicle, changing its tires while he still had ti before the bar started to get busy.

ng Yanran had changed into the usual uniform of the bar, helping Madam Rong behind the counters. She pushed all her worries out of her mind as she worked around. By keeping herself busy, she could temporarily forget the pain of betrayal she suffered from her husband and her mother's sharp words against her person.

The door of the bar opened and a man and a woman walked in, arm in arm, clearly they were not from the local neighborhood. ng Yanran lifted her head, her eyes widening as she saw a familiar face coming in.

Black, wavy hair tumbled over the woman's shoulder like a dark waterfall. It frad her beautiful brown eyes and pinkish lips that looked enticing in the afternoon sunlight. She was wearing her customary black business suit and pants, making her stand out from the rest of their custors.

Beside her, ng Yanran saw a handso man, wearing a casual dress shirt and black pants. In his right hand, he was holding a cane to steady his posture as he strode alongside the empress. It seed like they had just arrived from their long travel and had chosen to stop by.

How did the fallen empress of Shenzhen end up in this rural town? ng Yanran didn't think she had any business to do here, considering that there weren't many businesses here that could entice Tang Moyu.

ng Yanran had no choice but to walk towards them. She didn't have the heart to abandon Madam Rong and let the old woman do all the work. Although there were other employees available to do the job, they were all preoccupied at the mont.

"Would you like a table?" She asked Tang Moyu and her companion. Feng Tianyi only smiled at her, not saying a word.

Tang Moyu paused for a mont to give her a good look, which made ng Yanran feel a little bit embarrassed being regarded by the empress.

"Yes. A table for two, please." The empress replied without breaking her gaze on the woman they've been looking for. It was easy to spot ng Yanran in the crowd because of her beautiful face and the almost perfect symtry of her features. It was impossible for anyone to ignore those.

ng Yanran's aristocratic face was too out of place for a place like this. Tang Moyu couldn't even believe that a forr heiress like her would be able to find shelter in this kind of place.

She and Feng Tianyi took a seat and thanked ng Yanran for the nu she'd passed to them. Tang Moyu lazily scanned the nu, but she didn't find anything to her liking. Seeing that she couldn't choose anything, Feng Tianyi took the matter into his hands and chose for her instead.

"Serve us your bestseller and if you don't mind so bottles of beers. Ice cold." He told ng Yanran.

ng Yanran wrote down their order and retrieved the nus from their hands and casually told them to wait for a few minutes for their orders. She could not chase them away as she wasn't sure why they were here anyway. She didn't feel that it was safe to assu.

She and Tang Moyu had nothing to do with each other and weren't acquainted. There's no way the empress would co here for her.

Once she was out of sight, Feng Tianyi leaned towards Tang Moyu, whispering to her. His eyes looking around to see if anyone could recognize the two of them.

"You know, you don't need to co here with . You could have waited for my return in Shenzhen."

"And then what?" She gave him a pointed look. "You were going to co here all alone. If Song Fengyan or He Lianchen was coming with you, I wouldn't even bother." The empress said in defense.

"So you do admit that you care for now, huh?" Feng Tianyi grinned back.

"Isn't what being in a relationship ans?" Tang Moyu scoffed and looked away, trying to hide the blush on her face.

Anyway, it was rare for Feng Tianyi to leave Peach Blossom Garden and with his current condition, it wouldn't be ideal to let him travel on his own, even if he brought an entourage of bodyguards with him. It would only draw unwanted attention. Spending a weekend with him didn't seem like a bad idea too.

"So why do you have to co here and see ng Yanran yourself? You doubt your people?" Tang Moyu asked while they waited for their orders to co.

"To make sure she's here. Li Yuanyi wouldn't be satisfied reading the report alone. I have to see her with my own eyes." The devil replied. He always made sure that he accomplished his side of the deals he entered perfectly, without missing any details.

"Is that so?" The empress asked. She looked around, not expecting ng Yanran would turn back to face them. ng Yanran probably recognized her, judging by the way she looked at her earlier.

"Here's your order." Madam Rong ca to them and served their order slowly.

"Really? Beer? At this ti? I thought you said you are starving?" Tang Moyu eyed the dishes and the bottles of beer on Feng Tianyi's side.

"What? I'm tired. I want to drink sothing." Feng Tianyi winked at her, gesturing for her to start eating, which she did.

Madam Rong laughed at their bantering.

"Newly weds?" She asked.

"Yes." Feng Tianyi imdiately replied.

"No." Tang Moyu said. She glared at the man sitting across her. What the hell was he talking about? People would misunderstand them if he kept spouting such nonsense.
